Keep getting some notification about about no SIM card anyone know why that pops that
Sent from my HTCONE using Tapatalk 2

I don't know why it happens but when it happened to me I just turned on airplane mode then turned it off. Never happened to me again after that.

Have you dropped your phone? On my blackberry 8300 sometimes after a drop I would get a no SIM card error even though the card was still in place.

Had this happen to me once before, I just soft reset and it went away.

Are you rooted and on a ROM or stock uprooted?
Recommend giving a little more details about what exactly you've done to your phone...?
sent from my unrooted, uneventful, completely stock. BLACK, STEALTH HTC ONE using Tapatalk HD Beta 4.

try popping out the sim tray and putting it back in, i was getting that same notification a week or 2 ago and i popped mine out and stuck it back in and havent seen the notification since.

Just curious: (Showing 2 COMS) Odin3 Glitch?

So about three days ago I decided to root and put a custom ROM on my phone. Followed the MobileTechVideos and realized something odd happened.
Why did it show 2 different COMS? Shouldn't there have been one?
My build is 1010 and it was the VERY first time I rooted and put a custom ROM on.
Here we are three days later with NO problems.
Plan on putting a different ROM tomorrow and wasn't sure if I should worry about this or if it was just a glitch.

So nothing to worry about, huh?
I'm about to try a new ROM so I'll update once finished.
Well I didn't flash when this occurred, I don't recall if just restarting odin cleared it up or if I had to restart windows.
Yeah, I remember it just not going away. Either way it did recognize it and worked itself out. Maybe a bug or just because I have build 1010?
I can't get into download mode via three button... Check out my other topic, please!!!

Weird "inverted bug" in ICS/CM10

One out of 100 times when I turn the screen on, everything is inverted (even the controls as you can see on the last picture). After turning the screen off and on again, it's gone. This bug appeared the first time when I first installed CM10, then when I went back to CM7 it was gone (I think?) and on topogigi's ics and later on carbuno's ics it has come back.
Has this happened to anyone else?

Never happened to me before. Maybe its hardware related?.

i've had something kind of familiar happen.. but instead of inverted.. my screen was split in half and the right half was on the left and vice versa.. turning my screen off and on again didn't solve it.. had to reboot
this is after first coming from cm7 to cm10. and it's happened a couple of times

I saw a similar issue on a friend's HTC EVO 3D. Quite likely a hardware issue that warrants official repair.
Happened to me once with CM10-hackfest.

Custom os prompt

My friend is getting this message popping up about 5 times a day. Any ideas? He is not a root and ROM guy. It may have happened after he sent his phone in for repairs to Samsung.

is it booting to this screen automatically? because this is the download mode which you can get by pressing the volume down+power+home button and if you press volume up on this screen you will get to download mode. If this is happening automatically then it is an issue with USB port. Turn off the phone take out the battery and clean the USB contacts. there is a video on youtube for how to clean usb port. search for it. Send it to service center if still persists.

Trouble flashing anything!

Hi all!
Got this p970, it was running 2.3.4, rooted it using framaroot. (Woot woot). Installed rom manager and successfully flashed recovery through the app.
I've tried twice now to flash different versions of CM (10 and 7.2, stable versions) with no luck. Get an error very quickly in recovery, forcing reboot. I don't have a screen cap of the exact error wording (which I realize would be helpful) but I seem to recall "prop" showing up a couple times.
Was there any step I missed that is causing this? Any help would be killer, I wanna ditch this iPhone and get back on a droid!

This means that your phone isn't a p970.

I would imagine it is the kernel. I have seen a patch for the AEL kernel but not sure what it's for. Also go to the DK thread and search dropped calls...it has been brought up in there about the same thing with that kernel installed. Might switch back to the stock kernel and test it out
