Friend of mine has a samsung galaxy ace and another friend has locked his phone by typing wrong password many times. My friend has no internet connection available, so she can't register to google account. Any ideas how to skip this lock without factory reset?

SIM password?...Call to your Carrier
If it is Lock screen password I think the only way is doing a factory reset, so you can do a backup to save all your apps and then do the factory reset
You ca try it too (lock screen password/ lock pattern)
1. Call to your phone with another one
2. With an active call you should browse in your launcher, do a complete back up with Titanium Backup
3. Factory reset
4. Restore you useful data

How to do the backup with locked phone? I always do the backup on normally working phone haha

I have tried factory reset but the password windows still pops out. Can not pass the home screen.
Phone has signal and synced with server so the time and date are correct.
Read many post nothing came close to my issue. Please advise.

... i would say flash twrp latest and wipe data, cache, system ...
Try to clean out your cache see if that helps.

Do you mean the pattern or password unlock? There is an option that says "forgotten password". You will need to log on into Google account that is on your device, and your phone will be unlocked

There is no account on the Phone. I did try cleaning the cache. Any other trick?

Post a picture of the password prompt. Doesn't sound like the standard lockscreen, as a factory reset would clear that.
I forgot my phone pin .My phone is rooted and I want to hard reset my phone to get access.Can anyone help? OR Do I have to visit a care center.Is there a problem to flash or hard reset a rooted phone.Please help

My friend followed the above method but he had a Samsung and he forgot his pattern.I'm pretty sure that it might work for you too as well.Still not too sure though.I'll appreciate it if someone could confirm this.

Also, I don't think you need to consider service centers.

If you forgot your pin used on lockscreen then you can also reset your password by signing in using the id used in PlayStore.(If you have signed in).
You can get that option near Emergency Calls after you enter wrong password more than 5-6 times.

Connect "your" phone into a pc, save your data, do a factory reset...

Maybe if the phone has recovery installed twrp/cwm try accessing data from there..!
Other than that there is no way as far as i know..

As the title suggest , I've tried factory reseting the phone but the phone still requires me to log into a Gmail account ( the phone is not mine it was given to me to remove the password protection ) the phone was previously locked by too many failed attempts. Could you guys help me out ? Thank you in advance.
I'm pretty sure if you boot into recovery and wipe the phone there will be no traces of any data left.
But this depends on wether your phone still has the stock bootloader/recovery.

If the phone is under warranty return it.
Or do a full factory reset to try, anyway you will have to do it before returning under warranty.
Try/settings about phone/features/kernel version tap it several times/CIT menu 2 sim card.
With only one sim
I don't want to full factory reset.. I searched other alternative ways

do a full factory reset and try otherwise guaranteed
backup with Micloud before
I had the same issue if you search the forum. I tried every option, full resets, reboot, etc..nothing worked.
You need to go to recovery and wipe data and this will re -do the inital install and fix the issue. No other ways, you will loose your data.
For backup just use Xiaomi Backup feature ( within Settings) and backup and save to a PC. The afterwards you just move the same back up folder back into your phone and it will re install everything a before.
