Demands that we improve the nightlies will be countered with laughter, taunts, and public shaming. Really ridiculous demands will be memorialized on our social media feeds.
Support
We spend an astonishing amount of time developing this software. We can't spend much time on XDA as a result, so if you need support, please try the following:
1) Search. Search, search, search. Yes, you. I don't care how unique or important your question is, it's very likely someone has adressed it already. Especially if you're even close to new at this.
2) Read our FAQ, which can be found on our goo.im page linked above. It's new, but expanding fast. Just like us!
3) Ask a question here. Someone will no doubt try to help you. Warning: this help may come in the form of telling you it's a dumb question that has been asked before. See step 1 - such are the perils of asking questions when you haven't done the research yourself. Android is about helping yourself.
4) Ask a question on our IRC channel. Connect to #teamcarbon on irc.freenode.net or click here. You'll find several other Carbon fans and usually one or more devs as well. Please be polite.

Running it now, smoothest iteration I've had on my device. Hybrid of the Linear and MagnaM0d themes, Yee Haw!
BT with Ford Sync working with this one, compared to the RC. MANY other things, but at this stage, that one is most notable at this point.

Flashed it this morning, not a lot of difference between this one and 7.1 RC1 though, as far as I can see
Cool! I would test, but my Inc is broken :/
I'll finish adding my apps to my MIUI config, nandroid, and flash right over!

I downloaded and flashed it this morning. One problem I encountered was that marketplace was not installed, yet all of my market apps were restored. I solved the problem by reflashing Gapps. Everything is running fine now. Very smooth with the latest incredikernal.
I've never used CM on my Dinc. Only on my nook color. I've heard many rave about it, and boast outstanding Battery life with it. Just wondering if anyone can tell me if there are things on the stock that don't work with CM7. I read that 720p recording didn't work before, but honestly have not read up too much on it. Going to try it, as I'm using my phone at work more than I ever have before and it's KILLING my battery. Cinderblock walls make the signal so weak it drains battery like crazy. I just want to know what I might lose before finding out at work Thanks in advance. Really want to give this a try.

It's not too likely to happen until HTC releases the source for GB. Even when they do, there's no guarantee that it'll be available. I tweeted slayher a few weeks back about it and he'd said he'd look into it as soon as he could, but he admitted that the camera wasn't something he understood real well. I guess the best I could say is just wait, be patient, and hopefully something will happen.
Does anyone know of a circle battery icon with percent that's working with the 7.1 official release?
Thanks

How to understand which one is for atrix? Or everything in your link is for atrix?
will this build have the cyanogenmod options to change the notification power widget? Or is that not part of the build yet?
Look for atrix, but wait on downloading till its done
Edit I just noticed that server cuts off the name. Its alpha1, I'll make separate folders on the next update.

In another CM9 thread, some said the battery indicator disappeared when fully charged.
Flashed it.
Bootanimation - yes!
Boots? - yes!
First crash'n'stuck on "M" was after 5 seconds of working, when I choose language. Does it hate russian?
Removed battery, restart... work log:
Boot - check!
Firststart setup - check!
Wi-Fi - check! (without reboot)
Camera - NOT WORKING (as I remember it isn't working in Photon too, so no surprise)
Browser - check!
Google Maps - check!
Epic cosplay lesbian porn - nope! (need to fix it)
Mobile data - check!
Phone calls - check!
SMS - check!
Youtube - check!
3D Games (Modern Combat) - check!
Auto-rotate - check!
Auto-brightness - not shure
Work rather stable - no reboots after the fist one. Phone is hot a little bit.
Maybe it is placebo, but looks like this rom is a little faster. Bad thing is that now internal card is emmc now - not good want oldschool!

[ROM][AOSP][Unofficial]CarbonRom 2.0 bèta[4.3.1][pollux & pollux_windy][Oct 31]

Why choose for CarbonRom?
CarbonRom is an AOSP based rom. It also gives you a great option of customization. Reasons to go for CarbonRom are:
- AOSP based, so no bloatware or other stuff
- Great Customization options
- Nice look
- HALO
- ...
Current Version
CarbonRom 2.0 is still in early stages, it's Android 4.3, but not all features are implemented!
I won't manually search for all new features, just wait for an official 2.0 changelog when it is completed.
- Android 4.3
- HALO
- DSP Manager
- New battery icons
- stability and speed enhancements
- a million other little things as well - we basically don't even sleep anymore.

I have an SGP312. The GPS is the main purpose of me owning this tablet. I based that decision off of the fact that it is supposedly one of the few android tablets that use the GLONASS satellites (Russian, I believe)(iPads have been using this for a while) to have better coverage. It looks like we are still a bit away from having daily drivers for me.
Thanks for checking anyway.

We are dedicated to fast, stable, and feature-filled roms, honesty and communication with our users, and openness with our code. Special thanks also go to Slim Rom for some of their features, PA, AOKP, and anyone else we may have borrowed commits from that hasn't been mentioned here. If you feel you have been unfairly left out, please - let us know.

2) Read our FAQ, which can be found on our website. Carbon FAQ
3) Ask a question in your device forum.

Remember, every penny you send to us goes right back into the rom. It's used for hardware, server costs, etc - all the things that help us make Carbon better with every release. Your support means the world to us! If you've enjoyed Carbon, please consider a donation toward this goal. Thank you, and we hope you continue to enjoy Carbon!

I had 3 problems after flashing this rom. First, the keyboard freezes and sticks on the screen when swiping. A temporary resolution was to uninstall the stock keyboard and download the Google keyboard from the play store. Second, sometimes the phone enters sleep mode and it doesn't turn back on. The menu and back keys light up when I try to turn the screen on but the screen stays blank. Third, the gallery shows blank content a few seconds after using it. Please look into these problems!

As was mentioned: gapps are probably to blame. If you're not using PA Gapps you should try those - mini modular package for example.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2397942
Second problem I haven't noticed - are you on stock kernel? I am using Alucard's as KT's is giving me problems with min/max values not sticking and getting stuck at a very low frequency on Carbon. Has great functionality like USB mass storage mode.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2590246
Third problem not happening here either. You could try using Quickpic as an alternative, though. Best gallery available in my opinion.
Maybe try a clean flash with pa gapps and alucard kernel. That setup works like a charm for me.

I'm using stock kernel. I'm gonna try using the suggested gapps to see if everything will be resolved.
I also noticed the "adjust brightness using status bar" feature isn't on this rom. Will this be implemented any time soon?

awsome Rom
Been using Carbon Rom for a long time. This one is GREAT as usual.
Thank you for all the hard work.
Amazing rom. No issues at all so far which isn't to bad for an early nightly! Regarding GAPPS, I use the one from Broodplank's thread. Works perfectly.

Tested this morning and all seems to be working well. For some reason I was getting Google Keyboard FC but that's probably something to do with the GAPPS I flashed. There are so many versions floating around, I don't know which one to use day by day lol. But all in all this rom is sweet. Carbon was always one of my favorite roms on my Note II.
Seems like some of the carbon goodies are missing, but I'm sure they are on the way.
Try gapps 20140105.

Yea. 5/10 working good on my vzw M8. Data works. WiFi works but like all other AOSP ROMs, it does not always stick after a reboot. Everything else has been solid for the past 2 hours. Will test BT later.
Solid so far. Thanks for bringing it to us.
I have seen numerous posts in various forums about how 4.4.2 AOSP ROMs have radio issues with the M8. Out to dinner and here is my speed test on 4G running Carbon.
