Since there is no Samsung Exhibit 4G forum thread here, so. Does anyone know how to unlock the bootloader for the SGH-T759? If you do know a link, please post it. I tried to install CWM Recovery with ODIN, only resulting in a failure (I fixed it) because I need to unlock it. So, please help!
This info is in android general use the search function, if that fails remember, Google is your friend. Don't ask questions about another device here as they are not the same in any way other than being Samsung.

As OP procedure is dangerous and could cause a brick.
Having read numerous threads and forums on this, I am yet to find any resource which provides details on how to unlock the GT-i9305 model.
The GalaxSim app (from Google Play) states that the device is not supported and most other apps that I have tried are simply a free 'frontage' which leads to a pay £25 website.
Has anyone unlocked this particular model with GalaxSim (or other app)?
Is there a free alternative?
I'll pay a sit to do it, if I can't convince Orange to provide it free, but if there is a free option ... that would be the preference, of course.
Much thanks in advance for any help
This has been answered before a few times here. Roll back to 4.1.1 and use menu trick.

Rats!
Didn't see this ... how do I roll back the version?
And anyone got a link to the 4.1.1 software ... looking on the sites, only has the latest version (4.1.2).
... I will Google it, but figure that an answer may come here faster.
Sammobile should have it I'd say

You could also try a factory reset first.

Just as greydiggy said, use the MJ5 restore method or just install a custom ROM.
I will be completely honest I am a complete retard when understanding how rooting works... But I have done the process a dozen of times and I havent had any major problems but for this root I cant figure it out! So here is my problem....
Verizon sent me an update to the newest system version (98.72.189.XT894.Verizon.en.US) so naturally I downloaded and installed the update and it UNROOTED my phone! I no longer have safestrap and superuser access and such. So I have tried different techniques and different programs on rooting this bad boy such as Motofail and Razrs_edge and I still cant get it to work... Both programs have the usual errors of "Permission Denied" or "Unable to". So all and all.... I NEED HELP!
Here is what I do know like im 99% sure about
-I have all the drivers and their is no yellow triangle and I have motorola device manager.
-I have Unknown Sources checked and USB debugging checked.
-I also forced stopped smart actions cuz I read on a post that I was causing problems while rooting.
Here is what I do NOT know
-Which USB mode do I need to be on? Mass Storage? MTP? idk!
-Do it matter that I am on 4.1.2?
Again I want to thank you for your time and I really would like some help with this darn thing! I am kinda desperate right now..

Hi,
The old root method won't work after the OTA update.
You need to use this method:

Well you can uninstall the new gapps by going to settings and manually uninstalling the updates as you will see there it will display Uninstall Updates but

*but this may be much annoying rather you can just do a Full Factory Reset and and flash the rom again without flashing the gapps. Or you can flash the original gapps for your rom in recovery.
If Helped Click Thanks
