I'm assuming your Developer Edition is the one from US? In that case it will not support the LTE frequencies that are used by Singaporean telcos.

Hey guys.
Just wondering, Is it possible to Unlock the ATT, Sprint, ..... whatever version of the HTC One to work with any network worldwide? I didnt see any threads about this .
thanks
It's possible to unlock any phone. You'll have to go through your provider if you live in the states.

Thanks for the reply, thats the thing , I dont live in the states. im in New Zealand.
You might want to check that the phone has the correct radio bands enabled for your region, the US carriers use unusual tech, you'll be unlikely to be able to use 4G.

Does anyone know if I can use this phone in Europe? I have it SIMUnlocked. And I got it off contract. Just wondering if I can use it on a European providers network when I head there this summer.

Yes, works great here. Just make sure you put in the correct APN settings.
Using First in Italy without any trouble, 4g mode is available...
I use the HTC First in Germany with Vodafone and it works great. Also with 4G. Just check APN from your Provider and then lets go.
Have fun!

i have been using sprint one in india every thing works good some data setting is not working whenever i switch off and switch on my mobile i need to do manual setting otherwise data is not working and moreover in signal bar it shows only gsm i know sprint is designed for cdma can any one help to resolve this problem
Are you sure the phone supports the bands your carrier uses? You shouldn't need a GSM ROM, if the phone is unlocked you should be able to connect assuming it's supported.

You can't use a GSM ROM, cause the hardware is different. If you are saying to make it look like a GSM phone, I'd love that too. My phone works very good in GSM mode

But it would be nice if we had gsm compatible roms for our unlocked HTC ones we are basically stuck on sense roms now which kinda sucks

Then get the GSM variant? That GSM ROMs are compatible at all is a nice step up from yesteryear, and you can port them if you know how. AFAIK though, this won't help with the reconnecting issues; I believe this was pinpointed as a radio issue in another thread.
I have a carrier unlocked Verizon HTC One. Can i use Roms from this section on my phone..
I tried using roms from verizon htc one but i guess all of them are intended for US carriers.
If you have the Verizon HTC one then you have to use custom ROMs for the Verizon's HTC one

You will have to call Sprint International Services and tell them you are traveling overseas and if you meet certain requirements they will unlock it. If not you will just have to wait for somebody to find a fix if you want it unlocked.
To the 2 ppl that replied (and anyone out there) did you tried popping an att/tmobile Sim and see if it works? the m7 came unlocked no?
I need to know like right now cuz about to order one thanks! !!

The M7 did not come unlocked. It was the same thing with that phone. You had to call to unlock it, internationally. It was them sim unlocked for all but you had to be rooted.

Can someone try it please ? I want to buy a htc one m8 and sabré to know if the Sprint version is compatible with the 3g/4g from att? I dont care LTE

The sim unlock app on the play store stopped working after the m7 was updated to 4.4.2. This phone uses the same version of android so I very much doubt it would work.

This seems to work on the Sprint version. Havne't verified yet since I don't have a nano sim.

APN setting is required only for data to work. signal has no relation with it
