Hi all HTC TD2 owner.. Some help needed!!

Hi all,
I just a newbie HTC TD2 phone, found that some small issue abt the phone and would like to ask u guys some guidance here.
1. How to activate device lock TD2? I had try to activate setting device lock(personal/today-item) its seem not function. (after i trying i found i need to deactivate Touch-Flo function only i can have device lock funtion).
Do u guys have any recommendation to have auto keylock function?
2. Everytime i press the "back button" its straight go back to the home screen? y it cant go back to the previous menu/program we enter? (It seem like similar to "Call END button" function)
Would appreciate u guys advise and guide given.. Thanks

for lock and unlocking of device i use [email protected] http://s2u2.ac-s2.com/ the best so far for window 6.1...
for your end button or back button i not sure.. mine is functioning well..

Press and hold endcall-button for a second or two, as kent1985 mentioned

Its solve my device lock query!!
Anyone who has same problem like me "BACK Button" not function as usual always straight back to home menu?
Is my phone problem?? thanks
(Normal function like I-phone or samsung phone its always go back to the previous menu/progam when press "Back Button" or closed the current program)

i have the same problem like you. When i press back button it goes to home page..

you have to hold the button for a few seconds 2 at least, unless you are using some kind of app to remap the keys, this works very well.

restore to default option launcher

Dear all,
I use android and g1 as my phone, first left track ball there's home button, and when we pressed, it would open window which has 2 option, home standard and advance launcher, which I already add in both launcher. But today accidentaly I choose home and click use as default. So I lose my advancedlauncher. Pls teach me how to display the option home and advanceed launcher again, cause now when I press home button it directed go to home screen.

Rickim, In the screen where you click to use one of the options, and you clicked the check box accidently to always use the original home app, a message should have been present telling you what to do. It would have been something like;
Go to Menu>>settings>>applications>>manage applications>>Home and press the 'clear defaults' button.
This will bring back the option for you.

[Q] Android Froyo Home button

Hi All,
Sorry to stard a completly new Thread for that...!
I Want to know if there is a way to have my device go "Home".. since there is no home button setup on this device.
Maybe there is already a way and i am wrong.
Just want to know cause now i need to go back until i am Home...!

Use atool for that, I have configured the call key as Home.

I am on Windows isn't just for Mac ?
English is not my first language and i didn't realy understand how to do it.
Any advice ?

Atools is multiplatform. And the default home button for the vogue is hold down the camera button until the call and end buttons light up.

I have the Launcher Pro plus installed.
Am supposed to have some sort of Properties somewhere ?

For the preferences in Launcer Pro Plus, click on the button on top of the phone and click on preferences at the pop-up menu.
Here's what I have that works well - under Behavior Settings --> Home Key Action is set to Do Nothing. Home key to default screen is unchecked.
Here's what really works though - go to Launcher-->Spare Parts and under End Button Behavior, select "Home, then sleep". This makes the red button the home button, because with Launcher Pro Plus, the camera button is a "last programs used" button and not a Home button.

long hold on the camera button till the send and end keys blink then release it that is your home key, unless you modify it in atools

[Q] can't go back to home screen

i'm using imaginary ics v2
now i can't go back to home screen by back key, that means some apps such as go sms pro or opera mini 6.5 .... don't stop when i use back key. i have to press home key to go to home screen and... it takes time to load.
even reflashing it, it still remains
i dont want to use home button many times. u know the reason why LoL
so anyone can help me????

Home screen issues.

Hi. I'm having this problem that my home screen button doesn't work like it should. I use 5 panes and one of them is marked as a "home screen" when I'm not I my home screen pane I should be able to quick access to my home page by just hitting the home button. This is how my friends Z1 works and all my previous Android devices for that matter. But for some strange reason my home button doesn't do anything in to home screen or in any other pane. When I hit the home button the screen flashes quickly like it's trying to do something but nothing happens. Otherwise the home button works just like it should long press activated Google now and in other programmes it brings me back to the home screen. So the problem is somewhere in stock launcher.
Has anyone else noticed this and what might be the reason?

Try a different launcher like the excellent kit kat one from the Nex 5, it's been rock solid for me, but that issue you describe does sound weird, maybe a reflash of the rom you're using might do the trick.
Obviously reboot your phone often too, just incase you hadn't.

Problem solved.
I did install / uninstall of another launcher and after that the xperia launcher works like it should.
