This is my first time rooting an android phone. i have experience with jailbreaking but i recently got an htc vivid (holiday) and decided to root it. i used hasoon2000's all-in-one toolkit v 3.0 and the device was rooted. i installed font installer to change my font, picked the font, and rebooted my phone. when it rebooted it stayed at the white htc loading screen for about 15 minutes. i freaked out and tried flash recovery and rebooting pretty much everything on the toolkit, and nothing worked. so, i went to recovery and it took me to the twrp home screen where i installed the root. i wiped out factory reset, internal storage, external storage, cache, android secure, and system. i pressed reboot and it said the device was not rooted, but there was no os on the device. what do i do now? please help.

You wiped system....
Go to your trust computer... download the ROM of your choice... reboot to recovery... hit mount... mount USB... copy said ROM to desired location... unmount phone... reboot to boot loader... flash kernel via fast boot... reboot to recovery... flash ROM... say a little prayer to the flying spaghetti monster...
Good luck

I switch back and forth between miui and CM7 on my nexus and had that happen once. Here is what I did......
First I redownloaded the rom on my computer. I wanted a clean download to make sure that it wasn't a bad download that was causing the problem.
Next, I booted into recovery, selected mounts and storage, connected the phone to the puter via usb and selected usb mount and copied the new download over. When done unmount the phone, disconnect the cable, and back out of that menu in recovery.
Now I wiped everything. Then went into "advanced" in recovery and wiped the dalvik. Then backed out of that and went into "mounts and storage" and formatted /boot and /system to make sure there was nothing left from any previous roms.
Then I backed out of that and "install zip from sd card", selected the new download of the rom and reflashed it. Flashed gapps afterward and rebooted from the menu.
It worked and that took care of it. I am not sure if it was a bad download, that there was bits of a previous rom floating around in /system or something else I didn't even know, but it worked and I do this now whenever I am switching from one rom to another.
Hope that helps.
Hi,
So I had my ROM rooted, and I was messing around with the Xposed settings. I flipped a switch, the phone rebooted and it wouldn't boot anymore...
So I decided to go ahead and just flash a new ROM (ARHD 10.2). To my surprise, when I try to touch the sdcard partition or the data partition, the phone automatically reboots. I wiped everything (except sdcard and data, because I can't touch them).
I tried to sideload the ROM with no luck.
My phone is a VODAP304, HTC One 32 Gb. I can use fastboot USB and the recovery (latest clockworkmod touch). However, like I said, I'm unable to flash a ROM because I can't do that from the sdcard, and if I try to sideload it, when installing, it instantly reboots.
What can I do? Am I bricked? I'm really worried as I need this phone in a week or so because I'm going to be away from home for a few days
So today I was preparing to flash another ROM, so I connected my phone that was on a Sense ROM (OMJs v1.8) and began to delete folders on the phone from my computer. Once I did that I copy and pasted the latest gapps and CM nightly onto the root of my phone. All of a sudden my phone rebooted and would not stop, right in the middle of the file transfer. I did not flash this rom after it copied because the phone began to reboot mid-paste. However, I had recently just installed philztouch custom recovery so I thought that the recovery was the problem. I then installed TWRP through fastboot. Keep in mind I couldn't even access my recovery. Everytime I tried, the recovery screen would show up for a second and reboot. No matter which recovery I tried, my phone could not reboot recovery. So here I had a phone that still has my OS installed and in tact..but for some reason randomly rebooted out of nowhere, continued to reboot over and over again, couldnt even boot recovery or the actual OS. I had no idea what the problem was. When I finally calmed down and got recovery to boot philz touch, every time I tried to perform a simple wipe, the phone would stop mid wipe and reboot. Luckily I got recovery to consistently reboot and I finally got a ROM to install through recovery (not adb sideload). My question is has anyone else experienced this? And does anyone know why this happened?

So I flashed a new .kdz to the D415R in order to root it again, which was successful albeit a couple bugs that other people were having. Following this I installed a font with the app Font Installer from the Play Store, worked flawlessly, and then I was not satisfied with it so I chose a different font. Upon doing so the phone got stuck in a boot loop. I am able to boot into recovery and wiped my /data, /cache and dalvik cache with TWRP. After this I figured I would be okay. Nope, I was wrong. My phone will not boot up past the LG Life is Good screen. Literally nothing but an endless display of the LG logo to mock me. I have a CM11 ROM on my sdcard in the download section but TWRP for some stupid ****ing reason has decided that it isn't an important folder on my card and won't let me access it. What do I do? My computer doesn't detect the sdcard like it would if I was using CWM. Any advice, tips or help? I only have one phone and kind of need it. All help would be appreciated.
you're unable to connect to your pc in download mode and reflash stock rom again ?
I was going to update my Rooted Stock Rom, and when I went to go flash a new Rom on my Nexus 6 I incorrectly wipe everything off my Nexus 6 and noticed it was stuck on the Google Lock Screen. So Forced it into the boot loader and went to boot my OS and it said No OS. I am having trouble reinstalling everything and could use the help! I have tried using Wugs and its not working for me.

if you have a twrp, well probably you have. plug your phone to your pc while in recovery mode, your pc should recognize your phone and download a custom rom and kernel and supersu from your pc and copy and paste it on your phone that's it..
it happened to me once so don't panic. XD
peace out.
hope i helped. dont forget to press thanks.
