Bricked HTC One...

Ok so I booted into Recovery, did Wipe Data/Factory Reset then went into Mounts and Storage and did format /system. I stupidly did all this without copying a custom Rom to my internal SD card first. The phone now doesn't boot, I can't mount USB storage in recovery because there is no option to do so and the RUU isnt available.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
PS. Yes I know I should have done a Nandroid backup first and yes I know I'm an idiot.

can you not push the rom onto the sdcard with fastboot using ADB from your pc?

[Q] Full Wipe on CWM

Hi All,
I wan asking a noob question before i flash a rom.
Now i come with stock rom and bulletproof kenal.
The question is before flash the rom, we need full wipe in cwm, will this full wipe delete that rom zip file?
I already try, pc can't mount with phone in CWM.
So i need fullwipe in cwm, or wipe in aroma?
Only wipe in Aroma

Hi,
Wipe data/factory reset and it's good, your "sdcard" content will not be wiped.
Don't format /sdcard, /external_sd and /data/data/media (/sdcard) in mounts and storage menu.
In any case, yes you can choose to wipe in Aroma...

Re,
Thanks but I know it...
Follows what I said (well reading, right?) and you're good, thats all...
If you want to test wipe /sdcard, /external_sd and /data/data/media (/sdcard) and you'll see, even if we don't have an external storage (sdcard)... before save your sdcard on your computer and you'll need to know how "adb sideload"..., ok

[Q] How to format the internal sd card correctly

Hi,
I'm using a HTC one, which is rooted, s-on, unlocked. I'm also using maximus hd 13 rom.
I want to completely reset the content on the internal sd card. I already tried to format the card via cwm wipe and during aroma installer using full wipe. But afterwards my sd card is still not clean, all the stuff from before is still there.
How can I get rid of those sd card content?
thanks in advance,
Chris
Well I can tell you from experience that it's a lot easier than I thought it would be. I actually use TWRP and what I do is install the Rom I want...then format the sd card in recovery and reboot. It's that simple..at least for me. Now for cwm I think there's the option for to format sd..not just wipe..but I can't remember the setup off hand...I'm thinking the process would be exactly the same

Hi,
I've installed maximus 13 an hour ago, doing all wipes I found
I also use the factory reset in the android settings.
At the moment I'm looking for format options in cwm and I found the following in "mounts and storage menu":
- format /cache
- format /data
- format /sdcard
- format /system
- format /external_sd
- format /data and /data/media (/sdcard)
should I try these options? If yes, all of them? In which order?
I can't imagine that it could be so difficult to get your sd card clean

okay, I've done so and it looks good. Do I have to reflash the maximus rom now or is it possible just to reboot the phone and everything will work fine?

Just reboot. U should now have a clean storage.
The others (system and data) would wipe your Rom and user apps.

I don't have TWRP either, but it should be under advanced and read something like "format /data/media"
I ended up just installing clockwork mod and the wipe worked fine but I have still ended up with sdcard\0 and sdcard\legacy is that normal?
On the plus side I no longer have a copy of everything in both.

You should have /data/media/0 and /data/media/legacy
/sdcard/ is only a symlink to /data/media/0
You should be good.

INTERNAL /SDCARD please read!
Just reflash from KDZ if you can't access the /sdcard folder from recovery. I've never heard of this happening on our device, so I wouldn't take the risk of playing with it if I were you.

u can format it in recovery mode. at least in team win recovery there is a choise to format data. after format , reboot in recovery and the sdcard is mounted. if it doesnt mount , u can do it manually again in recovery. this is not even a problem. its like in linux u mount the /home directory. the disk is always there u just have to let the system "know" that this part is used as "home". same here. u let the phone know that this here is the sdcard. so go ahead and format it ,reboot. if not fixed then mount it manually.

Caps off badass 12GB internal storage is showed as sdcard and additional sd card is external sd card you can format them both from CWM.Also you cna try to manually mount it from there. Also you can try deleting data and format system.Next time you want help be shure to know what is problem and what you want. Also try to use english language to describe it
Thanks for advice guys but after reflashing with official lg mobile Support tool still a bootloop, then finally got to format /data partition via stock recovery and voila its back again working ! Its a weird corruption on 4X tough.
