Hello all,
does anyone have a simmilar issue? When i answer a phone call, for a fraction of a second after i answer, the sound comes out of the speakers, and the it automatically switches to the ear speaker.
This happened to me with ParanoidAndroid rom from Tonyp and also with his CM10 T-build. I am using kowalski kernel 122 and i think bb is v30a, on the phone it reads 1035.21_20121130.
I got this too... But its better u post that on the ROM thread on general section.. Easier to get some feedback

Funny, I'm getting this on dmx 1.4 ics with civato's kernel! So, it's absolutely not a rom problem.
Sent from my LG-P990 using xda app-developers app
Me too. Using tonyp t-build04 with KK 124.
Maybe not a ROM issue but if you are able to catch a log you can post it into the t-build forum...

I really like owains' cm9 rom, I feel very good on every thing except the Phone Call / Dial issue on me.
I forgot since which Build, if the Phone.apk is not standby in the background (manual or auto killed by system), I should wait a very long time to open it.
Include the incoming call, it spend almost 6-8 seconds to show the answer screen....
Is anyone have the same problem with me and is it any solution?
Thanks and sorry for my bad Eng:laugh:
Anyone can help?

Is your phone underclocked ? I had the same problem as i underclocked it pretty hard.. If you're at 1Ghz and it doesn't works, just try to flash the Rom again and correctly (maybe full wipe etc) , that already helps in the most cases.
I had same problem and it changed after cache and dalvik cache clearing. You can try.

This is what I am looking for:
3d converter (movies too? haven't seen it...)
overclock
as close to stock as possible/very lightweight launcher so I can use SPB shell.
so far ARC looks closest to this, I just don't want to miss out on options I am unaware of.
Thanks all.
After careful trial and consideration, I decided to stick with 20p since I use this device for work. That said, I have tried every ROM available on that baseband. The winner is Mokee. Here's why...
4g does work.
Wifi works
No call dropouts/ lost sms/ ghost.
Killer interface
Fast as hell
I did not install gapps. I installed via market what I wanted. I like that market was included with nothing else.
Bluetooth works. This is the only ROM that connected to Wifi and bluetooth worked without editing.
Network connected without need of editing flex.xml.
Gripes-
3d is gone. however, the functionality of the ROM and speed of it outweighs the loss.
I have not tried any 3d apps, but having looked at the source, I don't see it being possible from this ROM.
Strange quirk I noticed, when charging by default the phone lags like hell. You can adjust this to your liking in the power configuration, which is far advanced from the default.
You need to install su for certain apps to work properly, and the integrated over clock force closes. As modders, we are not shy of these apps or setcpu. Use them. The kernel does not support above 1008, but I find with the power manager and setcpu on "performance" over clock is unnecessary. Battery life extends by single click, custom settings for the power manager is fantastic.
Winner. 8/10- if 3d worked, it would be a hands down 10.
Great job development team.

the only thing i dont like about Mokee Os is the echo on calls, is there a fix for that?
Sent from my LG-P925 using xda app-developers app
i havent had any issue, but i also use the app called equalizer instead of dsp... maybe something to do with it?
Sent from my LG-P920 using xda app-developers app
Glad you are enjoying your phone more with mokee...
You are correct that the 3d will not be able to work... I think pictures work and that's it...
As far as the overclock force closing I can't find what's wrong with that...
The rom is cm7 based so I believe other cm7 compatible kernels should work if you want overclock... but expect wifi bt and other radio issues... Swhy I figured the stock speed is more than enough...
I tried replacing the default superuser app but the rom doesn't respond well to that.. need to research that more...
I will be updating the rom soon to base off of the latest nightly so stay tuned...
Thanks!

3d camera works, maybe finding the string that enables the camera to function 3d will allow the integration to this Rom? I'll take another look into it. (Open camera, click on back camera option 2)

3d camera is working in mokee, it switches the screen into 3d mode. Thus, it may be possible to integrate the 3d interaction.
If this is the case however, as it stands now, there is still an "on/off" ability for 3d. Using this Rom as it is designed now, in order to utilize the 3d it would need to be switched on at boot and would remain on until either the camera is switched on or off, or by full reboot from what I can see.
Any thoughts trek?

soo what your saying is that 3D does work on Mokee? I've never tried it before
Sent from my LG-P925 using xda app-developers app
For the camera, yes. But only to view through the camera. Pictures, games etc do not work 3d
Sent from my LG-P920 using xda app-developers app
This is what happens after photo is taken.. the view through the camera however, is 3d.

Tried out the stock player and 3. Same result. It could be my own headphone jack, but it worked before install.

It could be a cm bug. Try to keep the volume at 75% or lower and see if that helps.

Oh yeah o.forgot about that... if your volume is to high it auto shuts off... the lowering volume will stop it from happening...

Known JB cm based roms are:
CM10
Cm10.1
MIUI
PanaroidAndroid
JellyBam
Slim-Ex
XenonHD
X-UI
MokeeOS 4
BlackMi
Mackay
some which I might have forgotten
According to your experience with the certain roms which rom has the best
battery life
performance
stability
CM 10.1
cm10 + ZGkernel .6.1 is good
Slim bean by msxzero

I tested all the roms you mentioned, and the Slim bean by msxzero is the best in battery life.
Thanks for the answers!! I'm actually using X-UI and surprisingly the battery drain is very good! (Of course not as good as ICS)

I'm not sure about which is the most battery friendly of JB roms but Mackay ROM runs very fast and smooth and doesn't have ver y bad consumption with data usage.

I have not seen better than ROM Slim Bean, so far, I consider better than Marvel or IZS 11, performance, customization and battery, take good pictures, only bad video recording (framerate and voice).
Run mackay rom, 3 FC in 15 minutes, 2 reboots...
deep sleep with slimcm10 + ZG 0.6.1 smartassv2 and dealline, before i went to sleep i had 82% charge.... this never happened to me til now i tried really a lot of roms (best thing i had was 1% in 1 h) but this is the most battery friendly rom i ever flashed on my phone .....
this rom has really a big potential of becoming more.... if we just can find a solution for the video sound issues.
Just as a hint, I took all the Chinese apps, minus the camera and had no more FCs, I put the camera Rarz M and photo quality is much better, finally installed the camera fix posted on the topic ParanoidAndroid and now video recording better.

The sound problem was not solved, but I thought the video quality better in itself. (hope it's not placebo effect) Follow the link of the post with the fix: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1932553&page=37

How could you use ZGK with SlimEx? Whenever I try ZGK w/ cm10 I can't unlock the screen remains off
Hi again i dont no if its just me but does the htc one loose volume wen upgrading to any 4.2.2 rom on stock 4.1.2 it seemed as tho it was louder playin music on stock 4.1.2 compared to 4.2.2

If im not mistaken.. I have read somewhere.. Its tune down by HTC.. Nothing we can do bout it... Someone correct me if im wrong thanks

I thought the bigger issue was the firmware changing from 1.27 to 1.29 a couple months ago where many say the max volume was dropped. Personally I didn't notice such a dramatic difference though.
Sent from my HTC One using xda app-developers app
Both of these guys ^^^^^ are correct. One of the only ways i know to return it to higher levels is to install a custom kernel that has sound control (Such as Tbaldens Performance Kernel 2.1.4) and install an app (like trickster mod) that will give you the ability to control these levels. See attached pics.
AT&T HTC One | ARHD 12.0
Tbalden Perf Kernel 2.1.4 UV/OC/UC
Thanks for reply lads it cleared slot of things if htc felt as tho the sound needed reajusting then im fine with that  and thanks for the reply and may i ask whats the best settings to use on trickster??

Indeed, I was also interested when HTC lowered the volume. Again I can't speak from personal experience on this but there was a lot of talk about popping from the speakers initially which you don't hear as much about now. Perhaps it was for the better Still, awesome to know we can go back if we want

Try flashing a different firmware or re-flashing the firmware or your region, it does sound like a software issue
One thing I know is that alsa playback is used for in call, so maybe looking for files or configs that change alsa behaivour could boost the volume here...
