[Q]Reverting CRT-animation on stock ROM to native fade-off animation.

framework-res.apk is attached. I seems can't use my APK tool after java update. Some kind guys help me please. =D
Edit res/values/bools.xml
Change "<bool name="config_animateScreenLights">false</bool>" to "<bool name="config_animateScreenLights">true</bool>"

It didn't. Maybe some editing in framework-res.apk needed. My APK tool malfunction after new JAVA Update.

disabling CRT and enable back the stock fade-off animation. changing build prop doesn't get back fade off instead it just go black. It need to use APK tool to edit framework-res.apk to original as stated above. And my APK tool doesn't works. Hoping for some kind guy help on this.

Hey guys, i was wondering if its possible to have the stock music player with the purple widget in the notification area with emanon 7. If so how >.>? thnx

download official firmware from samfirmware, extract that zip (md5), pull out music app (bot odex and original), put in system/app through root explorer, and set permisions r w r r...im not sure if this gonna work, but its logical

Edir: Unfortunately it isn't working. Emanon has always been a tough guy to change lol. Even other apps from stock rom aint installing via root push.

Extract the emanon ROM on ur pc using winRAR.Replace the music.apk with the stock music player.Re zip and flash.Worked for me.

Edit: Nope it aint working, idk why i think the apks are signed or something? I'll try again and see. I replaced the apk only and it gave force closes. Should i replace the odex too <.<?

hmm...you should try that..if that doesnt work you'l have to use the kitchen to re build the ROM.There a lot of threads here with tutorials.

no, its a good way to do it, but just SIGN it, youv got signer in tutorial how to make rom, download, zip your changed rom and sign it

Thnx guys ill try those suggestions hopefully...
Edit: I gave up <.< nothings working and i'm just getting stressed for hrs lol. I'll just use cm7 music.I think the framework is different so they are not working or something like that else parasmi would've included them.

i have a tip for you: grab any stock .apk from your or any latest stock rom .zip. simply download stock rom, archive the rom .zip on your computer. then you can use it anytime you need it.:good:
the result wil be: you can pull out any stock .apk whenever you need one. no need to ask and wait for answer here

If from custom rom like CM or PAC....etc Try move to system/app and set the right permissions rw-r-r
If you got force close so you cant use it!
If from stock to based on stock rom Or based on stock to stock try install as normal apk
If you got app not installed error so move to system/app and set the right permissions

If you have a zip of your ROM go to system-app- contacts provider.apk. try installing that app..
