I didn't realize they put the power button on the top left. That's a weird spot to put it...I do like that they put the proximity sensors on the left side of the front. That is a major design flaw on my s3 at the moment (every time I'm on a phone call and I try to swipe down notifications, screen will turn off since it registers my thumb.)

Haven't even tried them yet. I have set of Skullcandy 50/50's that I used today, but I'll probably take the included headset to the gym tonight to give them a shot. I'll let you know.

This was the same problem with the EVO 4G LTE. I'd always end up tripping the proximity sensor when I swiped down the notification bar during calls and what not. I like the new position, and it adds a little more industrial aspect to the overall look of the handset.

Also, it might be a network issue, but my LTE would have trouble with incoming texts that are more than 160 chars. So I would receive the 2nd text first, then the initial text would come in second. (When one long text gets broken down into 2). I was wondering if the One did this too.
And I won't break any rules this time, I'll make sure to ask permission from the creator to edit his/her content and post it on our device, and this will be the LAST ROM I will be porting, if I do. After that, I'm done porting and I will be upgrading to either the iPhone 5 or the HTC One or S Blaze

I've thought about getting a Windows Phone. Specifically the Lumia 521. I love the UI and hardware but I think not having apps like Instagram would be hard (its my favorite social network). I have also thought about the LG L9.

I've thought about the One S or the iPhone 5 because no one has the One S that I know and everyone that I know has an iPhone, and I feel left out. XD

The iPhone 5 is nice. Especially the camera. I would get one but I cannot afford it. I would get the iPhone over the One S, better hardware and the new iOS update should be pretty remarkable with Johnny Ive handling it.

One s, you can always count in devs for android devices. The iPhone us crap, my uncle gas one and so dies my brother and they hate it. It's worst then thus pine in my honest opinion

I might get a nexus 4 or an Htc phone/S4. I'm still debating to get an iPhone though, since only one of my friends has them.

Good luck with that. Theres going to be a day when apple loses its spot in the spotlight and goes after everyone who jailbreaked there software to make up for loss. Just like im sure they had something to do with making phone unlocking illegal.

Could you explicitly tell me what new things would be on the table after I root? Because before, I did root, and tried custom rom and kernels but now I know full stock is something else, way better

Kitkat 4.4 is around the corner,..imagine the fresh install of the update while everybody else is frustrated and starting topics on how to unroot and revert back to normal..rooting is not needed unless you like bandwagons or a "same sh*t sandwich" in all custom Roms, I prefer kernals over a ROM if I were to root again..
You should get a BSE skin bumper optimized, for $8 this mofo feels good on the phone and all cases work with it

Definitely - especially since a Pebble Watch or Fitbit Force will cost you about the same. It'll work with AOKP just have to do a few work arounds.

Something is only worth as much as someone is willing to pay. I paid full price when It came and and think it was worth it. $150 is defs worth it

Full functionality with the exception of S-Voice (though I have read others have been able to get it working - i'm not really interested in S-Voice just yet).
Notifications I had to manage without using Gear Manager (the latest Gear update added a HUGE notification update) using these instructions: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2597260
You may have better luck getting gear manager to work on your S3. I had too many issues trying to get it to work and once I got notifications to work using the method above - stopped caring about Gear Manager.

Flash the base ROM through Odin then try to root.
Flashed it and everything. But if any get my s3 to use the gear manager. Gonna try to install 4.4, if not gonna try tw.

You probably didn't think about it before you posted but this is a pretty insulting thread. Most of us paid $299 so either we're idiots or thought it was worth $299 when we bought it. This comes across more as you bragging about the "deal" you're getting than a real question meant to be answered.
