Sadly hboot 1.44 doesnt work with rumrunner. Did you try rebooting after you using the prepare command?

Okay so do this then, make sure you use a sense based rom -just in case-, and then push the revone binary to whatever the folder was in the guide, and chmod it to 755, thats crucial. Then use the prepare command from the binary, reboot, and then try to s-off with the binary.
Just to make sure, do you know how to use ADB and ADB push?
Yes I do I get error -2 all the time

Is your phone unlocked through htc dev? and perhaps you could try rooting it too.

Try this link below. I tried getting s off on my pc with revone but kept getting an error. Used terminal emulator and it worked easily.

Are you responding to me? After which command do you get the error? The chmod? Or is it after that?

How to root on latest firmware?

I have used HTC devices before and successfully rooted them with some research so please don't flame me but I cannot find a "how to" on rooting the Sprint HTC one on the latest system update (4.3). Could anyone point me to this?

Look HERE
Also on 3.04 not 3.05. That is the latest that my phone goes to.
