I rooted my HTC Desire C (Golf) with no data losed. Checked and it was really rooted. It happend in less than 15 sec (I mean the rooting process after plugging in my device in bootloader mode while PC was waiting for device). using techdraginfo.blogspot. com/2012/09/how-to-root-htc-desire-c-android-40-ics.html this guide. I deleted some Orange annoying files from the system and when I rebooted it didn't want to pass the last HTC Logo with Quietly Brilliant and the BeatsAudio logo. I installed some ROMs but one failed, the second succefully but after rebooting blocked at logo. And there was still one ROM left, I don't remember what one but, after rebooting it installed me CyanogenMod 9. Everything kinda works fine, no bugs except the WiFi, I will download WiFix from PC and install it in my phone :laugh: Thank you XDA for giving useful links. I love you all.
So my question is :
Is it normal a succefull rooting process at a 600 Mhz processor in under 30 seconds with NO DATA losed or damaged?
Please answer, I'm confused.

Hello, I'm new here, so I don't know if I posted this in the right forum, but I have a big problem. So today I rooted my GT-N7000 and everything was fine, but then I replaced the digital clock with the digital clock of the Galaxy S4 (I found the apk here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2208158) but something must have gone wrong because when I rebooted my Phone, I wasn't able to enter my PIN-Code, because my screen didn't respond anymore. Then I rebooted my Phone and it got stuck at the "Samsung" Screen. Every time I now reboot my phone it gets stuck there. When I rooted my Phone I did it by installing PhilZ 4.93.6 signed Kernel through stock recovery. So I went into recovery mode and did a factory reset. Then I rebooted my Phone and went trough the set up manager, but when I wanted to finish the set up manager my Phone shut down and restarted, then it got stuck on the Samsung Screen again.
Before rooting my phone was on stock ROM XXLT4.
Is there anything I can do to fix my Phone? Please, I need your help :/
Also: sorry for mistakes in my Post, but I'm from germany
You could install the rom again using odin. This will overwrite any bad flashed flashed during mod installation.

Can't help until you tell us two things:
1) What ROM did you flash and;
2) Can you boot into recovery, or at least bootloader.
The likely story is (as do many running so fast to get a new ROM) you loaded an incompatible ROM and you'll have to RUU back to stock and start over. For RUU, see http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2277892 question 16. In fact, before you do anything else, I strongly urge you to read every last line of that FAQ, and most of the links to which it refers. Otherwise, you'll quite possibly brick your device.
My desire 500 hangs sudden;y and becomes not responding ... the only way is then to remove the battery ..... and wen i turn it on again.. it take like 20+ minutes w an hour maybe to start from the htc logo...... i entered recovery and did a system restore ... for a few days it was oakyan again this problem came ... so i unlocked the boot loader flashed the ultimate kernel ... and today im making this post because it again hanged and is on the htc screen ...... once the phone hang getting to the boot loader is fine ... but entering CWM takes years :/ .. i'm fed up with factory reset and data wipes please help me out ....
When did that whole process begin?
After or before rooting/unlocking/installing a new recovery?
