Installation
1. Download latest SAOlution Rom version
2. Reboot into Recovery
3. Wipe Data/Factory Reset twice
4. Wipe cache/dalvik cache
5. Install Rom
6. Reboot (First Boot may take up to 10 mins)
7. Read through FAQ!! from Hyperdrive:good:
8. Read Through Changelog from Hyperdrive:good:
9. Let Tablet sit for 5-10 minutes
10. Reboot again
11 Enjoy and thank a developer!
Using the APP2SD-Feature:
First of all, this APP2SD-Feature is based on CronMods Basic-Script and i have modified it for my own use.
To use the Feature you only need to Split your EXT-SDCARD into 2 Partitions where the first is FAT32 and the Second is EXT4 and insert it into your Note 10.1 After installation the ROM,
the Script starts automatically with the first Boot and all APPS you install now after ROM-Installation will moved to the EXT4-Partition.
The DATA and DALVIK-CACHE is also moved to the EXT4-Partition
DON'T TRY TO USE THIS SCRIPT WITH OTHER ROMS AS SAOlution IT DOESN'T WORK

Thanks for the work but if I understand, you took somebodies rom and added one feature and released it as your rom. I don't think it's ethically correct. You could have just released it as a separate mod.

Hmm, i don't know if it is only a MOD, because there are some difference like the Theme and the APP2SD-Feature.
OK should i call it, SAOlution-MOD for Hyperdrive?
I build it as a complete ROM, because i don't know if it works, when i make a AROMA-Installer that install all files thats different to Hyperdrive.
I tried it before i build the SAOlution-ROM and the Hyperdrive-ROM freeze so that every APP called an issue. Thats the Point, why i build it all in this SAOlution-ROM. I have contacted sbreen94 before i do this and he give me the OK for it.
At the next Step, i build a Version for N8000 and N8010/N8013 and integrate some different Kernels like xctasy.
Everybody has a bs opinion and when they have the net to hide behind they offer it.
If you got permission youre golden and its no ones business but the two involved.

As long as you have taken SBREEN94 approval + acknowledge original authors work/efforts,
I see no problem in adding some more features/tweaks.
If you say AROMA issues are fixed+APP2SD is added it is good thing both for SBREEN94 and the community.
After all XDA is a knowledge sharing forum and for no-payment basis.
It is a community service for community benefits.
Also if possible - pl release N8000 version. (pl take permission from SBREEN94 if required).
Also if possible - pl add AOSP theme (Black background + Blue icons/selections etc)

sbreen94 is also work on a Version for N8000 and i will ask him, if we can work both as Team so that the community only need to look for Hyperdrive and find my Features in it
CAN anyone actually confirm how well it is running for them and post some screen shots of the script to swap internal with external for example? Because i flashed the script which is here on XDA but its very buggy for me!!

Yes of course the script install real racing completely to the EXT4-Partition.

This sounds like an awesome idea. If there is a way for this feature to be used with any TW rom. It would be way more ideal. Instead of just one rom. Would that even be possible? Anyways good work. Keep it up

i think i can do it, when i know witch is the preferred kernel. I need to modify this kernel for mounting /sd-ext and i can build a udpate-script to install this kernel with the app2sd-script.
A small part of the app still goes in the internal,right? Around 10 or less MB of each app not matter how big the apps are

i've modified the script to leave /data intern and if anyone want to mount /data on /sd-ext just open the saoint2ext in the /etc/init.d-folder and
remove the # in this lines

Installation Instructions
1. Download and place Bi-Wining_V2_MultiLang_signed.zip on your internal sdcard
2. Reboot into Voodoo or clockwork recovery
3. Perform a factory reset

You can but shouldn't have to as the script does the wipe for you.

The new gps I've noticed seems to be hit or miss. I will more than likely change the files back to S.gps2 as that seems to work best for most. Thanks for the feedback.
Just updated from Beta 2 to Beta 3. Everything feels smooth and great except that I haven't tried out the GPS yet. Thanks a lot for the wonderful work... Where is the stay awake option?
Music Player and Gallery don't load up anything on my phone, but MortPlayer and QuickPic from the market work fine. I have this problem with other ROMs too. Anyone know why?

Stay awake option is located in Settings > Applications > Development. Not sure on the music and gallery. You say this happens on other roms as well? I would try formatting your sdcard and copying all your music/pics back over. Don't forget to copy everything off of it before you do just to make sure you don't lose anything else that might be valuable.
Due to popular request been working on the pulldown to resemble the I9000's actual gingerbread.

Thanks for the suggestion! My music/pic files are in the internal memory (e.g., under /sdcard/music and /sdcard/DCIM), not on the external sd card. Are you suggesting to format the whole sdcard directory?

Yea I'd try formatting the entire internal. It's a PITA, but it might fix your problem. I'd definitely try giving it a go.
Can the Chinese keyboard be uninstalled? I really don't like it Also, can you update the camera with the same shutter button feature (press long for AF) you just implemented in TRIGGER 2.90 ... Great Tom so far ... super smooth and apart from GPS Isis not find any bugs!

New camera will DEFINITELY be implemented in next release. We are also going to try modding the I9000 camera to do the same thing since it's needed for ppl with FFC. I'll see about locating the apk for the Chinese keyboard and letting you know. I might make a flashable for ppl to remove it since I know it's not for everyone.

Why this MOD?
This MOD will eliminate reason to run behind different Custom ROMs. EnhancerMOD CAN be installed on any ROM version any custom/stock MIUI ROM.
It provides best features that any Custom MIUI ROM can provide. It hacks your system and build properties to give you best out of your smartphone.

Words of Caution:
No need for SetCPU or Pimp-my-CPU. Use JuiceDefender and set frequence MAX to 1000. MIN to 100 and IDLE to 400.
Using "Conservative" Governor may give you sleeps of death. Use "OnDemand" Governor.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: (Read These TWICE)
You must be on MIUI Rom And open superuser in Tools > Settings > Allow applications to request ROOT permission (ON)
Keep your data connection (wifi preferably) ON.
Reboot in Recovery
Goto MOUNTS & STORAGE
MOUNT - System, Datadata, SDCARD and DATA <== MOUNT THEM.. do NOT Format them.
Go Back
Choose & Flash file downloaded.
Advanced => Fix Permissions
Reboot
LET IT SETTLE FOR 5-7 MINUTES AFTER BOOT
Do not add any account, press Home Key, Grant root permissions if asked. Keep your data connection ON.
Reboot.
Let it settle for next 5 minutes.
Add your accounts.
Enjoy.
Post-install recommendations:
No Launcher Settings required to be changed in v3.0
If any app gets updated internally or via market it placed itself on last homescreen, do place it back in respective folder.
Juice Defender Configured. If you cannot see it running in notification bar, open it and set CPU 100-400-1000 and OnDemand Governor.
Please use "FasterFix" application provided and select your closest region. This is essential for better GPS.
After FasterFix, use AngryGPS TTFT Test for using GPS first time after installing this mod.
Grab yourself latest EXTENDED SETTINGS(Posted Below) for centered clock in status bar. Looks cool!
Give reboot whenever feel lag. Also do remove widgets which you don't use.

After you install the kernel, open Voodoo Control App and set these values:
Color profiles: Original
Screen RGB multipliers: Red = 3507556800, Green = 3507556800, Blue = 3855244480
Screen v1 gamma hack: -35 red, -38 green, -35 blue
These are my settings, you may notice green tint when screen goes off thats not to worry... these setting makes screen look awesome. Try it.

Hey I am getting JuiceDefender Crashed?
No worries, restart it again. It gets smooth along with constant use. Use "ADVANCED" profile and set CPU 100-400-1000.
My icons seems misplaced?
This happens when internal update takes place. Place it back in respective folder.
My widget disappeared, what do I do next?
Nothing. Keep data connection on. And give a reboot.
It will appear. If not remove and re-add by long press.
The Live Wallpaper provided goes into half loaded state on each homescreen, what do I do?
Nothing, it will fix itself. However, if you want quick fix.. use Auto Killer and Kill all apps.
GPS its not viewing any birds?
Did you tried using AngryGPS ? If not, do it first. Spend some time with GPS new config and then see.
I installed v2, can I install v3.0 over it ?
"NOT RECOMMENDED". Read changelog and you can do changes yourself.
This MOD is release for those coming from stock/custom MIUI ROMs.

No, this is only for Vibrant and in development phase.

Definitely, you didnt followed STEP 4 of mounting data, datadata, system, sdcard.

If you followed and read OP carefully. Be calmed, you did nothing wrong.
The problem you facing is most probably from source MIUI ROM. This MOD only intends to add more functionality.

This is a MOD (modification) not a kernel.
And no kernel included in this MOD for simple reason of kernel can be of user's choice and this MOD can work over any MIUI version for vibrant.

Just did, second reboot just done
Ok, I noticed that, pimp my CPU is still there, thought it would be removed since it's not needed, no biggie
The Theme does not get applied, lock screen is plain stock and Google Maps doesn't get installed, I checked with root explorer and it's not in system/data
I'm on SS-11 LG Edition

You didn't follow the installation directions....Probably why he said read em' twice, lol. You forgot the Mount instructions.....Re-read.

My wifi stucks at Obtaining IP adress then disconnect. What should i do now ?

I seem to have a square at the bottom of my screen making my apps inaccessible. Its like a pull down that does not pull down. there is a back, home, search and menu in the corners.

I think you have installed "TalkBack" from Market.
Please uninstall that through Applications Development.
You can also disable it from keyboard settings.

Installation Guide for DarkyROM III
1. If you don't have CWM recovery
Follow this guide to get CWM recovery.
2. If you have a CWM Recovery
Do a Nandroid Backup (Optional)
Download DarkyROM III vx.x
Copy the zip files into internal SDCARD
Switch off the phone
Boot into Recovery (Hold Vol Up + Home + Power On)
Wipe Data/Factory Reset
Install zip from SDCARD
Choose zip from Internal SDCARD
You will get three options
Full Installation (Install all Bloatware + Mods + All Applications)
Typical Installation (All Bloatwares and Some of Mods will be removed)
Custom Installaton (You can choose what to install)
You can choose any one of above option to start installation
Once you finish installation you can select Reboot the phone

Behind a "DarkyROM V3.0" for i9300 when coming from the good old i9000 equipped with DarkyROMs I think not only me would expect a little more than a mod collection included in a cleaned stock rom not themed and with stock kernel. That is the point. When you know the story behind DarkyROM and what happend in the near past you can at least suspect what is going on. Its a pitty.
I had DarkyROMs on my S1 long time and liked it much especially the OTA updates/mods functionality and supported the team with donations and I would love to see such quality DarkyROMs for S3 too.
Its not that this DarkyROM V3.0 is not a ROM that is useable but not this spectacular especially the old DarkyROM users certainly would expect more from a DarkyROM V3.0.
TotallyDubbedHD suggested this rom to me, And it has been amazing so far, Much better than the stock rom..
This has got to be an XDA record, 1st page and the thread goes off the track.

There is little to no need to mod the excellent stock rom the S3 comes with.
Out-the-box I was super happy with the S3, whereas with the S1 it was a disaster.
Long story short, for the time being HDtechvideo, Jag, and myself have taken the stock look and feel - as it is not only fast, performs well, has great battery life, but it's also what WE WANT in our S3's.
I don't need any fancy things atm - I'm quite happy with what we made - as simple as it is, and with the certain mods, by certain users (like wanam) we have a very simple ROM.
You either hate it or love it.
Except, unlike Marmite, you don't have to buy it.

retains the sim lock or unlock must then efficiently with voodoo when it restarts??
My first android phone was a galaxy S and the only roms i liked were the Darkys rom for that phone , must have flashed at least 300 times different darkys roms kernal combinations those were the days , will defo try this rom for my new GS3

Love the Rom but flashlight from pull down menu is green when not active and white when active this is backwards. Is there a way to record the calls automatically and a better way to access the recorded calls?

If cause reboots or bootloops then Instructions:-
As far as random reboots there have been numerous members stating this with both XXLS7, XXLSA, and XXLSC. I have never experienced this but can offer some help. It has helped others and they have also not had a random reboot.
You will also need to format /preload
(this seems to be the issue with rebooting)
You may still have issues, and if so there is nothing you can do. Every device is not made equal, so unfortunately you will have to wait for another leak, or the official 4.2.1 from Samsung.
also... if you let your device go flat, then you'll be stuck in a Samsung Flash Stall.. (No boot)
So you can re-flash over the top... or even a clear of /delvik cache and /cache should do the trick.

Good job. I personally like TW launcher more bcoz of its great features. Though I admit that 600MB free ram is very helpful in LSC which is in short of ram.

I didnt cheaked Tht its work on 240 dpi Or not. N Widget Resize is In launcher Setting. U can resize as size u want but tht will be buggy Sometimes.
if first time flash ram always use a little ram, but if you used hour by hour it will increase the ram..so i think when you said

Cheak screenshots extra screenshots. I took screenshot after 3-4 hour. Ram was free as much as it should be according to me. And SemcAlbum Is in data folder only. Just need to install it there only by root explorer.

Change Wallpaper Chooser's default wallpapers
CSC has a simple protection that checks the size of every file by the contents of sqlite database /system/csc/contents.db. After changing a file, you have to change the file size definition in contents.db using a sqlite database editor otherwise your change will not be applied. By using this method, this ROM has its own default wallpaper "injected" to Wallpaper Chooser without editing any apk, default desktop arrangement, languages, etc only based on CSC editing.
Truly Tablet UI
For truly Tablet UI experience flash attached landscape mode (ro.sf.hwrotation=0) flashable zip. BEWARE: Replace NEXT prohibited!

Camera app inside taken from P5100, hard modified to fix icons and menus orientation. It's hard, Samsung using a different source for P31xx and P51xx target! P51xx version has a lot HDR codes inside but still not found a way to activate it.
If you want to install this ROM on P3110/P3113
This ROM prepared for P3100 in mind but you can try it on another variant by replacing the updater-script using attached updater-script
How to remove phone related stuff from your P311x device
Update to P3100ZSDMD1-blackhawk-update2-p31xx.zip (attached at post #1). All apk/jar modification in this ROM attached here as patch set in zip, you can use it to create your own modification for your ROM, proper credit must be given.

EDIT: Based on Quadrant result, this stock based ROM faster than CM 10.1! Both tested after a fresh install, CM as 2nd ROM. CM slower in I/O access but still faster in graphics
Since it is stock based somebody should see if my phone remover works. But look out! It might accidently add ripple effect! That is one mistake that I just figured out. Lol.

I will try your remover but why it's so big (~30MB)?
hi ketut.kumajaya, I am trying many times to install this Blackhawk rom as secondary rom, but no luck. it was aborted.
can you tell me what's wrong with my steps?
1. wipe data/factory reset + cleaning for preapring new rom
2. wipe cache partition
3. wipe dalvik cache
4. install zip
...aborted on this step.
#before, slimbean 4.2.2 build 6.5 installed as secondary rom.

Please check your zip file. Open it as a standard zip or better check the md5sum. Try copy it to the root of sdcard.
EDIT: Are you flash ~800MB stock based ROM on system.img prepared for CM? Out of space! Please recreate system.img for stock/stock based ROM using NEXT tool.

It has framework-res.apk, SystemUI.apk , androidpolicy.jar.
Large files.
But my expectation are low just want to have ripple lock and can you please make a flashable zip for it and also remove nav bar just add button savior in data app or lmt launcher if possible for you bro

Thanks but afaik, after decompiling framework.res we get res/values there is line to make navigation key <false> from <true> I can be wrong but i dont have pc or laptop to try it if you can find time to look at it this could be a gr8 help to me :fingers-crossed:

very fast so far :thumbup:
with oc or no oc it's running smoothly.
just looks bit ugly on notification bar (or nav bar) when some notifications overlap with keyboard setting or menu button
off course I need mini apps sometimes, so I want to enable it on nav bar.

this is the way to remove nav bar
- Decompile framework-res.apk
- Open framework-res.apk\res\values\bools.xml
- Change
