Hi,
iam trying to flash CyanogenMod on my HTC One from Telus. Iam not sure which version of CyanogenMod rom should i flash.
I searched google and in this forum all i could find was the information about at&t version but nothing which of those roms are for the telus.
Nightlies list 3 types of HTC one
M7UL
M7ATT
M7SPR
Iam guessing the right one should be M7SPR but iam not sure.
Thanks.

I'm not an expert - I'm waiting until I can flash the stock ROM from the Google edition - but I did find this chart.
http://xda7.androidrevolution.nl/db_mirror/ROMs/HTC_One/variants.png
This suggests to me that the UL version would work; however, where ATT is UL I'm a little confused at the presence of both.

What is the difference between M7 & M7UL when it comes to flashing ROMs ?
Thanks :fingers-crossed:
M7 is the name for the HTC One as a whole, M7_UL is a specific variant of the handset (GSM). If you use a SIM card, you have the GSM handset and you can flash a new ROM

All,
Gonna flash ARHD 12.1 tonight on my HTC One Dev Edition. I would like for some advice on what version of firmware I should flash. I'm on At&t network. Now, when I flash the firmware in TWRP, does it include the radios or is that a separate flash?
Thanks for all opinion.
Hello to all,
Point me in the right direction xda? I have an htc one gpe. I found instructions to root and unlock and will proceed eventually. But the question is if this is the appropriate forum for roms for my gpe. I'm interested in installing paranoid android. But will it or any other rom by the m7 version work on gpe? If it's not a t-mobile or att or sprint thread, then m7 should be compatible is what i'm thinking.
Regards,
Vic

When your bootloader is unlocked and you have custom recovery you can install whichever Rom you want...
Look for PA in original developement forum...
Good luck
Hello,
I'm new to this site and have a newly rooted HTC One with Telus. I was hoping to put a custom rom on my device in order to optimize my experience with the one. I'm slightly confused however which version of the One I have, m7ul I assume? Does the downloaded rom HAVE to be the m7ul version or could I download one that has a different code, such as m7att?
I've tried googling this to find a response, but I haven't had any luck finding an answer. So any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks again,
Dan
Most of the custom Roms on xda have a "Supported Devices" list in the first post or two, so reading what rom has what features would be more rewarding than Google
I saw this on the firsr Rom I looked at:
supported devices:
M7_U
M7_UL
M7 AT&T
M7 Telus
M7 T-Mobile USA
I would also recommend you read a couple of the great guides
Mike1986 has a good guide here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2265618
And Vomer has one here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2365506&page=4
supported devices:
M7_U
M7_UL
M7 AT&T
M7 Telus
M7 T-Mobile USA

You mentioned M7_UL and M7 Telus separately, if I wanted to flash my rom to CM 10.2, would I download the "HTC One (GSM) ("m7ul")" or a different one? I just want to be sure that my LTE will still work once installed.
Thanks again,
Dan

Hello everyone,
I'm currently In USA (I've been here for almost a year now.) and I have unlocked my Sprint HTC ONE M7 (Legally) and now I am confused about a few things,
1) Will the multi-carrier roms work on my phone now? I dont like any of the sprint version roms available!
2) Will I be able to install MultiROM on it?
3) Can I use GSM on my phone now? ( I want to switch to AT&T!)
4) Will it work just like a International HTC ONE M7? (As I'll be moving back to my country soon! )
Any help is appreciated!
Thank You!

Unfortunately the answer to these questions is No Sprint HTC one are very different to the International HTC one.
International roms will not work on a Sprint phone as they have a different Partition structure. Also Sprint use CDMA network instead of GSM. So you must stick to Sprint compatible Recovery's Rom's and Ruu's Anything else will soft brick the phone.
