I will try to explain my problem in detail.
I have a HTC HD7 which was with the old version of WP7. I did the upgrade process to version 7.8.
Because of the delay in the update. I thought I had already finished and disconnected the device in the process.
Now, some functions do not work, such as messaging and access to some settings.
I wonder what should I do to recover my device.
Here my specs:

How did you update through Zune or did you try to push update?

This indicates a problem with one or more language packs:

I realized that there some thread already discussed about this problem, but it seem not my case.
I can always enter bootloader screen and successfully flash some mango ROM, but still cannot pass the HTC logo screen.
So, I try to go back to the original ROM which is RUU_Schubert_HTC_Europe_1.69.401.01_Radio_5.54.09.21_22.33b.50.10_Signed_SCHUBERT_RELEASE
But always get
ERROR [226] FLASH WRITE
I don't know why it not occurs on Mango ROM.
I suspect that there is a problem on the SD Card, should I format the SD card ?
if so can anyone give me the instruction ?

today I bought an HD7 , and now I want to intall a custom rom,
I've been reading a lot lately, and I think I understand everything I must do, but for make sure because it cost me a lot
in boot loader this is what I get

so, this is what I am gona do
1.- launch rspl and install HSPL using "DFT_XSPL_WP7FG2" file from
[DFT][Updated!#2] HSPL / RSPL for HTC WP7 First Generation
2.- install the custom rom, like this one from ansar
[NewTech 8107 22L TU]HD7_Europe_5.12.401.04_Radio_5.71.09.02a_22.51.50. 21U by ansar
using the tutorial section "instructions to install a Shipped or Custom ROM" from
[TUT] How-to: downgrade SPL, flash XSPL, flash Custom ROMs & Radios
and that's all right?
also I have a few questions
a) I'm form Spain in europe, will the custom rom above mencionated be ok?
b) Do I need to install any custom radio?
that's it, hopefully everything will go fine, very nervous here

Hey guys,
i want to downgrade my bootloader, for this i used this thread!
After downgrading my phone i got a error message "270"
I cant find it in the attached README from ansar's SLSPL Rom.. whatever...
So now my phone stuck @ the bootloader screen and i can do nothing with it -.-
How can i reset it now?
Please help me!

try to install r/h spl....if u install any of those you can flash a custom rom.....
the method u tried is what i did.....after flashing the first rom it gives error and boots into bootloader screen and the i flashed a nodo rom...then it decresed my bootloader version and i installed HSPL and now on Intrinsic

This phone have boot brick, now is entering bootloader mode and info says...

Are you getting error 244 invalid model ID?
If so...really your only option is to use the goldcard/Ycable method to get around that error.

Yeah.. SPL just has to be under 4.xxx to RSPL/HSPL.
You can flash a custom rom that supports Spanish now if you want.
I believe all 3 of these have Spanish

Yeah.. Since your bootloader is 1.54 you can use the DFT XSPL tool. I think your MID (which is PD29110) is supported in the DFT XSPL WP7FG1 version though.
If you install RSPL you will have to enter bootloader mode and re-RSPL everytime you flash a rom or rom update. If you install HSPL you can just enter into bootloader mode and flash the rom and a rom update. So the HSPL makes it a lot easier.
To flash Shadows [ROM] RUU Schubert S TMOUS 4.05.531.03 Radio 5.69.09.29a_22.50.50.21 Signed, you still have to have RSPL or HSPL installed, I think... I would just to be safe though!
I make successfull RSPL and HSPL and then update with RUU_Schubert_S_TMOUS_4.05.531.03_Radio_5.69.09.29a_22.50.50.21_Signed_SCHUBERT_RELEASE.exe, now phone is dead again >.<
Im going to repair boot again.
