1980mah Andida battery

FYI on a thread I started on this battery over in the g2x group.. So far, it seems promising. I'll keep it updated as I receive responses from those that are using the battery - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1104665

well they seems quite afraid of this ....

Sounds interesting, will keep a eye on this thread, hopefully some full tests will be done on the battery.

i was using this brand when i have my desire z, the battery itself is really giving some extra time, but it get "fat" fast when compared with original. "fat" means reduce battery saving power. so, if compared with the original one, in long term usage, andida won't give you any good compared with original one.

I've just buyed one. I think that this could extend a lot my battery life. At least with OEM battery I coul ony use my phone for 12 houres

I have bought and received the battery now. Seems fine, but I will need more time to really notice any difference. Aslo, my stock battery kept my phone running for 40 hours on a single charge (phone is running on CM7 based ROM, stock ROM never lasted that long, 20 hours max).

So? Worth buying or not?

That is very cheap for a battery that size (any battery for that matter ) But i will wait for some good news and maybe I'll buy it then.

I am always carrying a bag with me so when the phon is not used I plug it in. Does a great job actually. I have a freind in Greece experiencing the worst case scenario with a dodgy battery namely a small explosion which destroyed his HTC and received some minor burns on his pointer finger.

Thinking of buying the andida battery, how is it for you that have already bought it?

Gives a little bit more juice, so a couple of hours extra. Battery does not become hot when charging or during use.

I use the platinum 2x 3500 and it is the best thing. Battery is amazing. Never need to carry a charger. I charge every night and easily goes all day under medium to heavy use. I think my best has been 7 hour screen on time and 20 hours on 3g before I plugged it in. On wifi all weekend it does 40+ hours

Highly recommend this battery. The back plate is a little ****ty but after a few days it settles in. I paid > $6 on eBay.

I have a ns4g. I think seidio sells a specific 3500 for the ns but I am unsure. I don't think the back plate is too chunky on this. There are some butt ugly ones. This isn't. Can't argue w capacity anyways.

I paid......$5.98 on eBay shipped. Random bid, no one else put a bid on it. Got lucky! Most are around $25 for the platinum 2x extended.

They sell the battery and back plate in best buy for I think around 70$.
I've traveled to 4 different best buys here in the Philadelphia area and they only had the 4G version.

First day of use, supposedly it'll get a lot better after a few days of charging/discharging. Used very heavily normally would be dead hours ago, but not as much battery as my old power skin gave me when it worked...

What was your screen on time. The stock battery would get me 2 1/2 - 3 hours screen on time and around 15 hours. 9 were 3g only and rest around wifi.

Sorry, when you say Platinum 2x that's the case only right and not the battery? The Seidio batteries are quite pricey, wow.

no. I am talking abiutvthe platinum 2x 3500 mah lithium polymer battery. I got lucky and paid $5.98 shipped for mine off of eBay

S+ Battery for I9000

Hi i have a question a friend give me the battery from his not working galaxy s+ (1650mah) can i use that one with my normal "S" ? I think i can get a bit more battery life because of 150 more capazity.

I think the difference is only the capacity...so the battery should work in the "normal" S!

Battery work normal, i have almost 10 months battery from S+ in my SGS

is there some advantage because of the 150mAh more capacity??? is the online-time really a little longer???

yeah it is clear that it is not a 2900mAh battery, but i`m interested if there is an advantage because of 150mAh ...
Sure 2900mAh would give more time without loading ...
Are you satisfied with your 2900mAh ??? How long is the standby-time etc.

No i toughed i found a normal size 2900 mha battery but it was a fake one. I do have a 3500 mAh battery which comes with an extra big battery cover because it is thicker than the stock battery, and i am very happy with it! I dont always use it, but it is very useful sometimes, like when going to a festival for a weekend, or when you are on vacation and need to travel a long time.
Also, now my stock battery is almost dead, and i ordered a new 2350 mAh battery which is as big as the stock battery (so no need for thicker battery cover). In three weeks he will arrive and i can tell if it works good.
Btw. I always order these stuff on dealextreme.com. its really cheap and it is really reliable/safe. Only downside is that it has very long delivery time (depends on where you live, mostly around two weeks or more).

I dont know where to get this batterys but i belive from dealextreme. I use the 1650mAh battery from a Friend because its battery life is ok for me. You can look on Amazon too there are batterys with more mAh too. Hope i can hep.

Polarcell
A few months ago I've puchased a Polarcell (1850 mAh) via eBay for € 12,60 for my i9000. Same size as standard battery. German quality in stead of Chinese garbage. About 30 percent more batterytime in my case

How many month ? In amazon there is the same but with 1800mAh The people there say that its good if its new and lose his power in a short time period

[Q] Battery Life

Hi, I'm about to sell my note 2 to buy an xperia Z... the phone looks fantastic, but pretty much all but one review I have read have said the battery life is appalling. Is that true? What are your thoughts on it????

Battery life is really dependent on how you use the phone. For me, I don't have problems hitting 1 full day of usage without recharge.
And I don't trust reviews on battery life, because it will get better after a few weeks of use (that's how it is on my previous Xperia phones). The reviewers only use the phone for a couple of days.
That said, the Note 2 comes with a 3100 mAh battery, while the Xperia Z battery is only 2330 mAh. So be prepared that it might not last longer than the Note 2.

Thanks for the input mate. I know the N2 has a huge battery and was impressed with the battery life. But the phone is just too big for me. It lasted 4-5 months before I got fed up with the size.
I do listen to music a lot 1-2 per day, and browse the web on and off during that time.
I'm hoping to get a day out of it.

Hello guys,
I hope after few days ill get an TX. I know the battery of it is very not enough, thats why i started to search for one additional battery.
My question!!!
Is there anyone who realy tried a "noname" battery from ebay (for ex.)??? If yes, pls some comments!!!!

The battery is more than enough, install DoomKernel V5 and Hybrid T ROM by peetr and you will easily get through a day of heavy usage with approximately 3 hours of screen on time which is very good considering most phones I had before only got 2 to 2 and a half hours screen on time.

OEM battery is very likely the best. No-names usually have a lower capacity, despite of what they claim. If the price is too good to be true, usually capacity data is not true. No-names are ok as backup but nothing else.

Mugen has a 1900mah battery. I think that would be your best shot.

Thanks guys for responding. I already got my TX around 2 days. Before i bought i read a lot of tests and many more and ther everyone told that the battery is bad.
Now when i have the phone a can tell that the own battery for me enough. This battery for my usage i more than enough!
