I found this extended battery for the vogue. Any of you use this? If so how does it compare to the original standard battery?
that battery just showed up on the "battery scene"... it should provide more capacity based on mAh. i'm using Seidio's 2000 mAH battery it provides enough power to get me 1.5 days with normal usage.
Yeah I have that battery and anything is better than the one that comes with it. It lasts a lot longer as you would probably expect from a bigger battery. If you do get that battery it won't fit in your case anymore and the best case I found that fits it perfect by the way is this one http://swissmobility.swissmobilitystore.com/store/product/swissmobility_commander. It fits it perfect after a day of breaking it in. It is also cheaper here at this site http://www.buywirelessnow.com/smartwireless/buy/accessories/cat/615/accessory/298685 which includes the cover and free shipping.

Mind sharing pictures of what it looks like installed? Also do you know if any of the existing extended batteries would fit using the OEM extended battery door?
thanks,
-CC
Here are a few pictures. As far as other batteries fitting inside like the 2000 from seidio it probably will because they claim it will still fit in the original holster with the back you can get with it and with this HTC back it won't fit inside the original holster. This is all an assumption.
thanks for the pictures... if you have it, i'd like to see a side-shot of the phone with battery cover (similar to 3rd from left but with cover) and a bottom-shot of the phone with battery cover (looking from bottom). having an OEM cover vs. the tight Seidio cover is something i'm thinking about (not to mention having another backup battery). thx
Yo, here are the pictures you requested.

Guess I can't get the 2000mah battery then
What else you guys recommend ?
I've been thinking of getting the Treo 700wx
This is the 1500mah battery which fits with the original cover..
http://www.seidioonline.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=879
too expensive though, there's tons of them on ebay cheaper
Will a Extended Battery Door for a Capacity 1900 mAh battery fit a 2000mah battery?
i have the extented door for the OEM 1900 mAh battery and it easily accomodates seidio's 2000 mAh battery. in fact, the 1900 mAh battery is taller than seidio's 2000 mAh battery.
Thanks for the reply. I'm looking forward to the purchasing the door and the extended battery.
how much room is left in between the battery and the cover would you say? I want to put an led in the case for a non-flash/light. the mugen-power full case looks like it would work, but I don't want to spend $75 on a 3 year old phones battery.
Hey guys, I've been looking at extended batteries for the myTouch 3g, and I just found one on ebay. Does it seem like a good and reliable one? It says it is 3.7V Li-ion 2100mAH, but to tell you the truth, I don't really know what that means. It also comes with a cover. Will it add a ton of thickness to my phone, and do you know if the case around my myTouch will still fit?
Link
Thanks.
Regarding your battery
Hello!
Here's my opinion on your battery.
The original battery inside your phone now is 1340mAh (milliamp hours).
The one you're looking at is 2100mAh, which for you would be a 56.71% increase in battery life.
The upside:
Ridiculous battery life
The downside:
1970's soviet era technology backing for your phone (it's terrible looking).
No accessories skins/acrylics would really accommodate your phone. You'd have to rely on a universal-type side holster.
The battery is off-brand and ships from China, the quality of these cells are unknown, and who knows how old.
Perhaps try reputable battery brands such as "Seidio" or "Mugen"
I recently purchased a Seidio 1500mAh slim profile battery, which gives me an 11.94% increase in power, whilst allowing me to keep my current backing on with NO increase in device thickness.
Couple this with some operating system tweaks and or a new rom specifically made for battery improvements and you should really enjoy from then on in.
Good Luck!
Does anyone know where to get a new battery cover for like really cheap, I have been using my extended life battery for a while and can't find my case battery or battery cover....
Google is just giving me results for the 3200 mah battery and cover.
Thanks for the help!

Contact HTC with the number that was provided in the other thread and ask them what they can do for you. I haven't heard about them giving out replacement batteries so they might force you to buy the original from google.com/phone, but they should be able to provide a back cover for you.
I ordered a replacement back cover on eBay for $30 shipped
Thanks guys. I haven't looked yet its been a busy weekend but what other thread are you talking about for that number? I'll be at work all day with web guard so I can't do anything really thats not on my nexus lol.

You should be able to buy a spare battery straight from google.com/phone. $25 i believe.
There are many battery of I9000 which is long life battery , so I wonder that can I use them for captivate , andhow about the cases which come with the batteries ? do they fit captivate body ???
Beware, while standard i9000 batteries will fit, the claims of some as to extended life are greatly exaggerated. Also, some extended batteries are larger in size and may require a different back cover that may not be available for the Captivate. Always do a search before posting as many subjects have been covered in great detail, this one included.

I know that, but some sellers simply list their batteries as fitting all Galaxy S phones and that is not correct. I have one of the stock-sized extended batteries. Supposedly 1800mah compared to the 1550 stock battery. It lasts no longer than the stock battery. Seidio and Mugen are the only companies with larger extended batteries and covers that I have seen anything good written about, but they are pretty expensive and add considerable bulk to the phone, not to mention make using a fitted cover impossible.
I'm looking for a reliable battery with extended capacity that still fits in the stock back. Does anyone have a recommendation? Definitely don't want one of the fatter back covers.

Get one of these spare battery and charging stations. The Samsung EB-K800BUWE
I found one a while back on ebay for $30 with the oem battery! You'll never need to plug your phone in again! You can even charge this in your car.
