[Q] "favorite apps" - Sprint HTC One (M7)

The apps at the bottom that are fixed in place...how do I edit this?
I've searched the forums and google but didn't see a resolution...

Open app drawer, drag app from dock, place new app in dock.

If you're using an alternative launcher, you'll need to make sure that you're editing the dock in the HTC Sense launcher (you may have to go into Settings > Applications > <your launcher here> > Clear defaults to get into the Sense launcher again.

App to change icons

Can anyone recommend an app that I can use to load custom icons? I have never wanted to try this before but it would be cool to try out...
Also wondering if the app you sugguest would change the icon on home screens, app drawer or both

You can change the icons for an app on your homescreens by adding a shortcut to the app.
Press and hold on homescreen > Shortcuts > Applications
After you pick the app you want, tap on the icon in the dialog box and replace with the icon you want.

Folders in the app drawer?

Is this possible? I don't want to use GO launcher EX. And organizing apps on the home screen is hard and annoying. That's why i want them in the app drawer. If there isn't a way to do it in the app drawer maybe there is a way to easily organize folders on the home screen maybe?
U can make folders on homescreen
If my post helped, don't mind hitting THANKS
Won't Apex Launcher do that?

I don't want them on the hone screen because its too fiddly. I want them in the app drawer or I want an app that can make it so that I can easily put them on the home scree. I HAVE ABOUT 200 APPS!
With Apex you can just drag and drop to create folders, so you can have as many as you have space for on the home screen. You can even create them in the tray.
Not sure that helps though ;o)

Need help

How do I fix the bottom right? I was trying to get rid of the cam shortcut and use the mail. But now I don't know how to remove it. Does anyone know how to. Thanks for reading.

Open app drawer. Drag items you dont want into app drawer. Place item you do want back

What he said ^^^ looks like you created a folder by accident. The bottom bar isn't like on other android phones, on this phone it's a part of the app drawer so to put apps on it or take them off you always have to be in the app drawer.

you could use nova launcher, it has settings for how many columns and rows you want
I tried nova but it couldn't make folders. I wanted 5 icons across.

should be able to make folders just by dragging an app on top of another app. should also be able to configure it to have 5 icons across under desktop > desktop grid
I'll give it another try. .thanks.

NOVA is the bomb. Thats one of the first things I install when I get a new phone. That along with WidgetLocker, which is buggy on the Note 3 unfortunately.
But yeah, you can set up the home screens however you want with Nova.

Check the T-Mobile side:
[MOD] SecLauncher Modifications | For Galaxy Note 3
I copied over the 5x5 version and it works well, aside from the Touchwiz widgets. Backup the original version and the odex file, then remove both and copy over the new version, then set permissions (644). You may want to set another launcher as the default beforehand in case anything goes wrong.

Too big.
I have someone working on one for me. 5x6 homescreen with a 6x6 app drawer.
I just don't know how to set up the dip values in dimens.xml in for the note 3 (I'm not a developer or anything)
This is for the note 2 but could be used as good reference I guess.

the apk you need to decompile is Seclauncher4.
Yes and yes. On a side note, I actually switched launchers to Nova launcher. Personally I'm not missing anything from the touchwiz launcher.
