Thank you mod for making that post funny!!

Apparently Sony are rather unhappy with the Strause brothers for doing a MS/OS2 scam on them and basically ripping off this film to produce Skyline.
Will they survive and be trusted in the future, or will studios look for other companies to do their SFX/CGI?

I guess I'll talk about with Empty Walls how the Bush administration incorporated censorship in the US preventing american people from seing what really is going on in Iraq and Afghanistan. Also how rarely we see any caskets despite hearing how many soldiers died in those wars. This is also how the people have pretty much became ignorant of all the death. Also what I think the Empty Walls are are windows, through which we can see what is going on, but not sure how I can really formulate that.

I wanted to share this story so I looked for a zombie thread first but the only ones I found were about the FL cannibal and they were closed. I was kinda surprised. Sorry if I overlooked it Archer & TJ.
The US Military & Police are going to train for zombie outbreak.

I thought it's a cool story, worth sharing. They aren't expecting a zombie apocalypse, but they are training for one anyways. Its good practice for different emergency situations. Anyways if this thread survives it can be the general zombie thread.

Pretty much. Used to be as soon as you went south of I-30 crack heads were the voting majority. He's south of downtown. Not cool area, well used to not be. North or uptown is where it's been built up and kinda nice now.

Gotham Vs Smallville +

So the first episode of Gotham has aired and there has been time for Monday Night Football fans to catch up on their DVR recording of it.
What do you think?
Hopefully we can discuss the character development versus that of Smallville, how pissed we get when they change things from Earth 616 origins, all the signs of Bruce's dedication to becoming Batman, the ongoing plots....wherever you all want this thread to go.

Overall I think it was a good opener and has the potential to be as good or better than Smallville.
OT from the OT..how did you guys like the Absorbing Man in Agents of Shield?

While overall it was a great start, I was disappointed by the rapid intro of many villains. It almost felt like they shot their load all at once and now the series will need to live up to the pilot.
If they turn Bruce into Batman within this series, nt sure how it wold be. I only hope it doesn't turn into a Smallville. To many timelines were crossed and Smallville became to distorted.
It's interesting when faced by what we know and what is created today. Agents of S.H.I.L.D is another. I do like it.. somewhat. In this show, I want some of the Avengers to make an appearance.

Ooops...SPOILER ALERT!!! Sorry!
TS that is one thing definitely different than Smallville, was the introduction of many of the main players....but I think it is done for a reason..as they are probably going to be a big part of the entire series. I think they may follow a similar formula as Smallville (FOX ripping off other shows success formula...NEVER...LOL) and that we will not see the Caped Crusader in cape until the series finale 10 years from now. There are many other characters we will see I am sure...Harvey Dent, Victor Fries, Ras Al Ghul, Basil Karlo....and was that the Joker on the stage entertaining Fish? 3 origins presented themselves of him...one where he was a failed comedian, another where he was the Red Hood, and another of just a murderous criminal. But his real name never known.

I say we ban the OP for such a joke of a thread

Well he is engaged to Barbara who is supposed to be the mother of James and Barbara...perhaps Barbara will get pregnant next season so we see some snotty little Batgirl later in the seasons.

Yeah... Like most of the comicdom I am not happy with them changing the relationship between Johnny and Sue Storm making Johnny adopted so he can be played by a black actor. To date they have been able to seamlessly change characters race in the movies but to rewrite a family relationship?
In the comics they have matched Nick Fury being black by presenting him as Nick Fury's son. Hawkeye jokingly calls him Nick Fury 2.0.

I watched Smallville all 10 seasons. I made it to about episode 5, season one of Gotham.
So yeah.
And I generally love any and all superhero stuff. TV shows, cartoons, movies. Anything. I'm very forgiving, even fantastic 4 movies I find the positives in. Lol
