Galaxy S advance signal loss problem

Hey I would like to ask you guys using ddulp8 jellybean indian firmware a question.
On gingerbread, this phone had a problem which caused it to lose signal randomly which was fixed by putting network in gsm mode only. this meant that i cannot use 3g.
Now on jellybean indian rom, do you still have that issue? when network is on auto mode, do you have problem with device losing signal or errors like "device not registered on network"?

Nope. Everything works just fine with ddulp8. Btw that firmware is not for my country region but still it works just fine. Make sure you do factory reset after upgrading. If such problem persists, then it's a problem with your provider in my opinion.

the reception issue is quite known for the device, it looses signals in calls and otherwise too often, there might not be any issue with the provider........

You can try and flash another ROM to see if it's the roms problem, or do another clean (by wiping system,dalvik-cache,cache and data ofcourse) install of your current ROM. :good:

It could be the problem of your Sim network provider. Have you tested it out with other sim providers and see if you can place calls!?
Well in my case it somewhat worked with
*#*#4636#*#*
and then i select the GSM (PRL) and of the radio signal
now its working fine
now i want to know by switching of that radio signal will there be any other problem?

Phone reboots itself when loss signal

Hi. My phone keeps restarting itself when the signal lost (Examples: out of lifts, basements and etc). I've updated the firmware to the latest one, V40 and already even try the previous firmware V37. I'm having this issue when using custom rom and even Miui stock rom. Does someone having the same problem with me?
I think the main culprit have to do with the phone trying to search for signal and it goes into a power cycle.
Thank you.
