The mods gives out points that leads to being temp banned and if you continue or do something stupid they can ban you for good. This isnt posted anywhere because they claim its like explaining the law for loopholes so no one can push the system to see how much they can get away with. Pretty much the mods have the power to ban you if they need to it just depends on the mod and what you did they also can strip you of your title if your a developer or themer

It's VERY sad that some people even questioned whether I was joking or not, but I halfway expected it. I mean, when I said "no one has brought up battery life" that wasn't a clue? Hello!!! That's what it's come down to around here and even though I was joking I was also testing to see what responses I would get. Disappointed but unfortunately not surprised.

I agree, but all I can do is bite my lip, don't need to get kicked out, I also have a Galaxy s blaze, talked about my exhibit and how it is a horrible old out of date phone yet we have way better development, there 4.2.2 only boots and nothing works, but omg if you mention the exhibit has had working 4.2.2

I spoke with Mel and he said he's gonna continue on droid-tech.com. From what I was told it was a misunderstanding of some sort. Just follow him on droid-tech. He'll definitely be missed by me and many others. Luckily I have the privilege of contacting him via gtalk.

What's the actual URL of that site please? Can't seem to Google it. I've tried a number of combinations. Hey guys, it looks like the HTC Rezound is close to getting S-Off by Evil. If you didn't know, the Rezound has had a locked bootloader all this time just like us. Can we look to how they got root to help with our own efforts. The method of getting S-Off between these two phones can't be that different, can it?

I'm pretty sure the internals are very very alike too. The only difference I've read is the screen size. They both came out around the same time, so I'd think they'd be locked in a very similar fashion.

Apparently he is very very close. The link said days, if not hours away. Would he be the one to tweak it for us or would one of us have to? I'm not even sure if we could post our version on here though, XDA is pretty ant-anything that involves him. Maybe he could post our version on his site.

Look, I don't like the guy and I think his attitude is terrible and he deserved the ban he got. But can we refrain from saying stuff that isn't true? It does nothing for guiding people to an eventual unlocked rezound (or vivid in this case). Open is supposed to be was android is about... not squelching possible advancements based off a personal problem.

As I appreciate your enthusiasm for moderating me. The statement was made intentionally. As I have had this thread topic in multiple forums and the dev in question prompts flaming from discussion as to why we can't link his site. Most people on here either love or hate the guy, I am cool with him. My statement is made because that's the reasoning behind not linking his site. I can post it when I did or we could wait until it was asked, I chose the pre emptive approach to avoid someone literally saying something negative about the dev and xda. If you have an issue with my statement please address a senior mod or admin.

I know this thread isnt entirely skyrocket related, but it is nice to have an off-topic thread for SKYROCKET USERS to have to kick back and talk. Going to the off-topic forum is one thing, but those threads can get so jumbled and congested in a matter of hours that nobody knows who is talking to who. I've never handles a meizu phone but I've heard plenty of good things about them, but this sounds like a blind fanboy argument. The GS2 is still great even though we have the GS2 runt but at this point there are a lot of phones that are better than the t989. It would help if you got what meizu model they have lol.

Well after reading this review I'm surprised by the Meizu MX 2 core. Its got the exynos 4210/Mali 400 SoC we wish we had in the t989, a higher Res screen, better build quality. As far as I can see the t989 only wins at camera quality (barely..), a bigger screen with better picture quality and an SD card expansion, and of course dev support. I'd say both have pros and cons but are essentially on par.

Well said, although I believe personally the super amoled plus display makes up for the resolution, the meizu has the same resolution as the HTC sensation for example on a basic 4 inch screen though.

I think the problem stemmed from you just making a thread with a statement in it. You didn't ask any question and it would have been like me posting "I had a brown cat once, it was awesome" and then getting all *****y because people didn't assume I wanted a philosophical debate on why brown cats are superior to other cats.
After clearing it up by actually asking for feedback I think it was just people being snooty.
I haven't heard anything about those phones though. I might have to look up some reviews.
After only a couple days, I'm pretty sure this is the rom I'm sticking with.

Sry, was going to give a review of the rom, but accidentally hit submit and I had to go, week fix when I get a chance
Pretty sure these threads aren't aloud anyway. Most likely will be locked. Or maybe it doesn't, but it's typically frowned upon.
