i have already spent a lot on S3 and cant afford to buy the original One X. But i really love One x's design and this seems to be the only solution
Hey guys, I decided that I am going to sell my phone 6 months before my contract ends and get something better.
Since this is only for 6 months, I can't decide between One X and S3, I know S3 is better as a phone but One X is so much nicer and as I said since this is only for these 6 months I don't know what to do.
Which one would you pick?

You should see how one X perform with JB + Sense 4+ before judge with S3.

Yup! 2.17 update already boost the HOX so much.. and.. HOX already powerfull as HOX+, all the htc upgrade already comes for HOX along time ago.. just the front camera Can't beat the HOX+.. I got no interest on HOX+ after hamdir confirm what we have now on HOX is the same upgrade HTC do for HOX+.. xda dev is better than HTC dev.. See the score, all in stock..

Thanks guys, phone is on ebay for sale now. Hopefully it will sell and I will get my hands on One X later this week!
SXL is now sold and One X ordered. It's such a shame that I had to switch from this great phone, but lack of developers is that pulled me to the One X side. I'll stay active here and I'll try to get those lazy One X developers to come and do some SXL roms!
So do we think that HTC will bring out a 64gb version later in the year. As they did with the One x?
I'm tempted by the black but have a feeling that their waiting till every ones been sucked by the 32gb & then bring a + version out with 64gb.
What do you think
64GB isn't the One+... HTC has already announced the 64GB version as the One only

I'm not seeing any 64gb anywhere.
HTC have already announced that they will only be releasing one phone this year. The one phone being the One!

Can somebody please post a source for this? As HTC usually release a mildly upgraded version after a few months. And those are the phones I usually buy. (S2 + Sensation XE -> One X+)
I think it's more like one flagship phone this year. Already heard about 2 Desire # phone being released soon.
Also there's rumours of a follow up to HTC Butterfly in the coming months. Though would that be classed as a flagship, I'm not so sure...

Maybe they will make the butterfly 2 a 5.5"+ so they have to seperate flagships that don't really compete with each other ( kinda like GS/GNote or LGOG/LGOG Pro).

And when the 64GB version becomes available in UK, I will no doubt regret my impatience in buying 32GB version yesterday

Yeah i've heard rumors of a Butterfly-like phone coming to sprint
The butterfly 2/ dna 2 will be locked to sprint only. Don't take htc word I bet they will be releasing another flagship later this year they can never stick with one flagship
Last year they had 3 didn't they? Htc one X then one x+ and then dna?

The source is HTC semselves look in the product page under "Specs" there is written: "Total storage : 32GB/64GB, available capacity varies"
I wanted to see a visual representation of which device people in the Vivid forums are switching too. Im with the S4 :highfive:
S4 for me as well...probably use my upgrade to get the att variant...then ill sell it at close to full retail price and use that towards the international version

HTC One all the way , I know they sometimes disappointing but im inlove their phone LOL
If I had to choose between the two phones, I would choose the S4. The HTC One's issues with battery life is my biggest concern. I am probably not going to get either phone as my contract doesn't end till June 2014. If I was going to upgrade I was thinking about getting the Blu Life One, it is half the price, comes unlocked and there is no overlaying OS on top of Android.

While the one looks impressive, after having 3 HTC phones and **** support for all 3 including the major issues devs have had with the devices I'm def going Samsung next. All HTC care about is selling devices then abandoning them, and while I still love the look and feel of HTC they have dug their own grave.
Sent from my BoRKeD HTC Velocity
ill be upgrading to the S4 as soon as it comes out
So I went from the HTC one in silver to the galaxy s4 to the HTC one in black which looked great but didn't have the same luster as the silver back to the gs4
And today for the last time back to the HTC One in silver again. Anyway this is by far the better phone when compared to the galaxy.
Anyway that out of the way can someone please give me exact directions in how to make the HTC logo work as a button? Thank you for any guidance.
Sal

Unlock bootloader, install custom ROM, install custom kernel which provides logo as a button.

Do you have a link to a custom kernel?

You'll find custom kernels here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=2120
Look in each thread for something like "logo2menu". I use THIS one, which has it.
