there is, but only if you never done a ota from ics to jb!!
if you used a fastboot to get jb or a custom rom you might getthe unlocked bootloader logo away.
but its risky, maybe you brick ur phone. so better dont try it.
i just want to say its possibke!
i hqve the locked logo on jb with an unlocked bootloader

I read that re-locking a bootloader with a custom kernel installed would brick your phone, is that not correct? I belive the correct way would to be to reflash your phone to stock using SEUS and then lock the bootloader?
I'm not saying that eagleeyetom is wrong, I'm fairly new to this type of thing but I do remember the unlockbootloader guide stating not to relock bootloader with a custom Kernel installed as you'd brick the phone. Just trying to help
thanks for help.
my touchscreen is broken. I wanna change it to the new one.
I should relock my phone, right??
Are they check the software?? I think i've got the hardware problem..
Yeah, you're right. You should first flash stock kernel and then re-lock.
thanks.. i'll try it..

[Q] Flash boot.img on locked bootloader

Hey!
My SP has a locked bootloader and I can't unlock it because it isn't allowed.
But I want to install FXP CM11. As I can't acces fastboot mode can I flash the boot.img file through CWM if a make a flashable zip file from it(android.stackexchange.com/questions/36265/flash-boot-img-without-using-fastboot-usb)? If yes, how to make it? I don't really get that description. Thanks in advance.:fingers-crossed:

AFAIK changing kernel in locked bootloader could result in brick, not bootloop. CMIIW, but you should be careful with carrier locked bootloader
You can't install custom kernel on a locked bootloader you will get error not installed..... Even if installed it won't boot up, you will end up with a very stylish paper weight.
DON'T EVEN TRY TO MAKE IT WORK.
just accept it can't be done and install a custom stock rom instead
Sent from my C5303 using Tapatalk
You can flash the boot.img
But then your phone will be a brick
So I wouldn't recommend it

Do you think these people are lying or something?
The whole point of a locked bootloader is that you cant modify kernel - the reason you can only used stock based ROMs.
If you can successfully flash a boot.img then yours is not locked.
Someone please correct me if i'm wrong.

Totally Right, check very well what are you have on your phone then do what you want to do. Relock Bootloader can be possible with Stock Kernel only.

Even being able to read chinese, understanding is still difficult. . .It says one must at least have a leaked 4.3 installed, is that right? Then I guess this is only for unlocked bootloader user

yeah, very difficult to understand, i think first unlock BL then flash kernel with CWM, flash supperuser, and then flash stock 4.3 kernel to relock BL
i am chinese
this root method is only for unlocked boot loader
flash the leaked kernel
that relock

NO. You can't unlock your bootloader if 'unlock bootloader allowed = no'
Since you cannot unlock bootloader, therefore you cannot flash custom ROM on your phone.
Rooting phone do not always need bootloader to be unlocked. There will be some ways available to root your phone with LB.
Also there will be some ROMs available that can be flashed over LB. But they'll be based on stock and will not have more features rather than stock features.
You just need to search here on XDA
I suggest you not to flash any ROM on LB. You'll eventually get bootloops and maybe hard brick.

Nope! As much as I know, you cannot change status from 'no to yes' rather than changing your motherboard to do so. It'll cost you more than you buyed it.
It is related to TA Partition. And EVERY phone has its unique TA. So no one can change its status. Flashing other phones TA to your phone will brick your device.

Have a look;

UB = Unlocked Bootloader
LB = Locked Bootloader
You can only flash ROMs with LB label.
Choose wisely Flash correctly.

In such case you need to roll back to your previous android version. I don't think you could unlock your bootloader. But if you are telling it was 'yes' before, then you should try.
No matter your phone works with every sim or not. TA Partition contains DRM keys as well as many other things related to network, warranty, services which get erased after unlocking bootloader.

Yes you can flash any stock ROM through flashtool. You just need to download appropriate firmware (.ftf)
Even you could update your phone through PC Companion. The latest version is 5.1.1 Available.
BTW why are you trying to flash stock ROM? Are you using any custom ROM already?

You mean bootscreen, right?
Just because of bootscreen are you going to change the entire ROM?
You could change bootscreen manually. Your phone just need to be rooted to do so. To root your phone use kingroot app. If your lucky enough, your phone will be rooted.
There are tons of bootscreens available. Just pick one and place it in /system/media (don't forget to backup old one) with -rw--r--r permissions and Bingo! You have changed your bootscreen.

Try the same app several times. It usually does not succeed in first attempt. It you fail each time, try kingo root with windows software.

Dude, your on latest android version. There isn't any exploit available to root ver 5.1.1
You either need to wait until anyone makes an exploit for your phone or you need downgrade your phone and root it.
There is a pre-rooted firmware available for lollipop But it works only if phone has 5.0.2 .
Unfortunately your phone has 5.1.1 that means you still need to downgrade your phone and flash pre-rooted 5.1.1
Also, your bootloader can't be unlocked. So you need to flash ROM accordingly. Don't ever flash ROM that are meant for unlocked bootloader.
Regards,
hitman-xda
when someone makes an exploit for my phone and root 5.1.1 . i steel need to unlock the boot loader ?
