when i touch and hold the power icon the power menu option display then disappear and then display immediately again. what i want here is the power menu appear when i hold power icon and remain here.
And 1 question when i touch status bar only (not swipe down) the menu scroll down but the power icon not completely show, i want it scroll down more some pixel so only the power icon can display full. please see the first picture.
Here is the step :
1. decompile SystemUI.apk, open file ids.xml in dir "res/values/" , add this line at the end of file : "<item type="id" name="screen_lock_button">false</item>
2. Open file status_bar_expanded_header.xml in "res/layout " Find the line begin with code : <com.android.systemui.statusbar.policy.Clock
Add this code above previous line : <com.android.systemui.statusbar.policy.KeyButtonView android:id="@id/screen_lock_button" android:layout_width="50.0dip" android:layout_height="50.0dip" android:layout_marginTop="1.0dip" android:src="@drawable/ic_sysbar_lock" android:scaleType="center" systemui:keyCode="26" />

I have added an icon on taskbar to show a status, but after I open some apps. it hide some words. I tried to use SHNotificationAdd, but the left softkey of today screen becomes notification. I give up.
Can I add icon on menubar?
thanks!
I tried to find window MS_SOFTKEY_CE_1.0 and create a static on it, then in home screen it will be OK.
But in other application I should add new one.
Is there a way to add once and it shown in every toolbar?
I have seen a DELL ppc with querty keyboard show the key state on the menu bar. How did they do?
After pressing the start button in WM 6.1 the start button was hightlighted. In WM 6.5 the button is not highlighted...so in the folder "\SYS\23016\DPI_192\COMMON\Base_DPI_192" is an png called "black_taskbarHighlight.png" which is for highlighting the start button.
For Hightlighting the honeycomb icons we have to add the following line to "StartMenu_GridScene_480x800.cpr":
<Image ID="Selection" Left="0" Top="0" Width="192" Height="166" Source=".\StartMenu_Selection.png" />
So the question is what do we have to add for making the start button highlight available?`Any ideas?

I would start by using a similar line just replace with the correct .png. You might have to play with the values of left and top a little to get it centered and width and height. just try it and see if it works.
The top taskbar is not controlled by a cpr file, so no simple text editing. I'm pretty sure you would have to edit the Shellressometing.dll.mui, so no simple text editing.
And next time, don't post 3 different threads.

The values for top and line are already at 0...so you can not move up to the taskbar. Dwizzy130 might be right.
Today I will try to share a tutorial about how to customize using minimalistic text app.
Install minimalistic text app from market, or anywhere u like. Just google it and u will find out.
Atfirst, press on ur homescreen and then select add widget, scroll to findout minimalistic text and select ur desired size. For example I will use 4x1 size.
Then u will have minimalistic text app widget preference menu. Uncheck the tick mark from show background if u want transparent backgound of the widget.
Leave everything unchanged and scrool down further more, and from the layout option press predefined layout and select custom. Now ur custom layout option will be visible. Press to enter there.
In the custom layout menu, u will see 3 boxes containing, hour text, minute part one and part two. There is a plus tab, and two minus tab one green and one red on the right side. Green one enables u to add new layer and redone is for removing layout. Below u will see a view box that will preview u what u put in the first row that contains Hours, minutes test.
Ok, now we begin the real work. For example purpose I will share how to show system info as widget .
Press each of the boxes mentioned above and drag it below, u will see a bin icon and drag it to the icon to delete the text, delete all the three text.now u will have a blank row.
Press the plus tab, u will see a new window pop up below that contains items u want to add. There is battery, clock, date, Misc, system and wether. Press to system, now u will se the options available to display starting as ‘internal sd card free’, scroll horizontally for more options. For example I will select ‘Cpu usage’. Press it and drag it to the top row from where u have deleted the previous text. Now the view box will show ur cpu usage in percentage.
Next press again to the green plus tab and select ‘Free ram in MB’ u need to scoll horizontally further to find that.
Now the view box is showing ur cpu usage and free ram in MB.
Select the plus tab and press on to Misc, there u will se static text option. Drag it to the top row in between cpu usage and free ram. Do the same and the drag it again before cpu usage.
Now u have the sequence of static text-cpu usage-static text-ram in MB.
Press on the first static text box and there u will see a black bar popping from the view box. Now type ‘CPU-‘ nd from the style tab select ‘Accented’. Repeat the procedure and type ‘RAM’ in the second static text box. Select the style accented.
Now press back button nd tap preview to see how it looks like. In the text style option u will findout normal, accented and non accented options. Press on accented and select ur desired font, color, case. For glowing effect select blur radious in between 2 nd 4. Press back and scroll down.
Tap save and give ur widget a name, then press ok and apply the widget.
Have fun. Hope it will guide u for further customization. U can always affort different options like that and don’t forget to share the screenshot what u got.
Special thanks to Suhas chitturi for his help, without him the guide would not be easy.
