Slow LTE, Help Please?? - One (M7) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi I am currently rooted and running SentinelRom (stock kernel) and I absolutely love the Rom. But I have noticed very slow LTE speeds after going to this Rom. Like 1.5mbps down and 1mbps up. Does anyone know a fix for this or some sort of reset??? Because before I was getting 18-20+mbps download and upload on LTE.....
Edit: I reset the APN to default and then turned LTE off for a while and then back on and now I'm getting faster speeds. Maybe this will help somebody out there.

Does rom region matter?

My Optimus Black cames with v20j (Canada) and I understand that there's differences between regions like apps. But other than that, is there any real difference? I've used Spain's, Germany's, Europe's and the Philippines' roms and they all run the same.

From my own experience with canadian carrier "telus or koodo".
Some of the roms seem to not get a good connection to the network,
I went as far a sending my phone for repair, rerooted my device and reflashed but kept getting cant connect to network at this time. I do beleive some one else on telus had the same issue. Can' t recal his name

Huh, I'm on Koodo and I've had no trouble with signal on any rom. I did find that some roms don't say I'm on Koodo, but Telus. But, Koodo is part of Telus so it makes sense.

Telus
I'm with Telus and since I changed my original rom from a custom one I can't get phone signal outside of town.
It's because we have the lg p970g not lg p970. We have different phone signal for our roms this is why our phone are having signal issues.
I didn't find a way to correct this problem. But is there a flashable zip for a canadian rom becaus my usb port is broken and i can only charge my cellphone and change my rom with a flashable zip file.
hope we'll find a solution someday :S
Yes for xample you cant find persian language in v20n or j but v20b have persian

i had issues when outside of town. i recently tried the n version of Zeus on the same trip and signal seemed to be better, specifically in a spot where I had no signal before. still not as strong as stock though. running telus.

V30B v.s. V28B Network switch ability

I am curious if anyone knows or has posted a guide on whether or not you can somehow unlock network preferences on AT&T builds. Specifically on V28B you can choose gsm/wcdma (2g/3g) or 3g only or 2g only. V30B however does not have these options...nor did V20P. I think it has something to do with the debranded ability to connect to the Maritime network but I'm clueless really on this one. Im currently running xbsall's VX3D and I love it because its based on V30B and I have my 4g signal (even though there's no such thing as 4g where I am lol). I have a lot of network problems like dropped calls and sms fails in my house where I live so I always use the 2g only option here. Just don't want to get rid of this Rom so I thought Id ask first before flashing back to 28B.

like dirtbiker said, check if lte is enabled.
Make sure also you have the correct apns. Also depending on the rom, 4g may infact be lte fyi.
The fastest speeds I get on the 4.3 Roms are 6-7500kbps. My wife's HTC one with stock 4.1.2 is 21000-23000kbps
Any ideas ??

They are the same. Go to system/customize/ACC and edit the default.xml line where it says 'show_lte_for_4g' to true if you want it to say LTe, it doesn't really matter.

I already answered you in your second thread : New thread You didn't even answer... Don't just go around creating threads....
Flash this radio. It's the latest from Bell and Sasktel uses the same frequencies so you'll be fine. Download and then simply flash in recovery.
Afterwards, try this :
In phone press *#*#4636#*#*, then go to Phone Information, scroll down and you'll see "Set preferred network type:" , select "GSM/WCDMA/LTE auto".
Reboot phone
THIS REQUIRES THAT YOU HAVE S-OFF, if you don't, not my problem.
Hi there. Flashed the new radio. Switched to CDMA/LTE/gsm reboot. Ran speed test and only getting 4g speeds which are 3-5mbps down and 2mbps up. Ran same test on wife's none touched phone and got over 25mbps down and 20mbps up so not sure what else to do.
Do you have LTE speeds in your phone running that ROM.??
Thanks for all your help
Have tried numerous roms. Currently using tripndroid. Only getting 2-3mbps not 20mbps or so like it should be. Have flashed various radios and notta

[Q] SLOW DATA speed HTC M7

I'm getting super slow data speeds and I tried to add a new APN and that didnt change anything... I flashed new radio and that still didnt work.
I'm getting less than 1 mbps up and down. Any ideas?
I'm currently running InsertCoin 6.0-2
Anyone? Ideas??
Ask a friend of yours with the same mobile provider, maybe is a general problem?
I experience this also... It is def not network related.. I'm on skydragon. Soff, unlocked, rooted... I have to reboot sometimes to even get the the device to load even the simplest pages such as Google.com..... <getting pissed>
