I bought the galaxy note 2 extended battery from zerolemon and the back cover was scratched due to accident drop. I am wondering where can I find another back cover for it (tpU case). Or is there a separate company selling different kind of case that compitable with zerolemon 9300mAh battery? Thanks ahead for any help.

The back cover can be purchased on Amazon for $13. There is also a rugged case coming out end of this month... price unknown.

Whats a good case for the Note II that will accomodate the extended battery?
Were in the same boat, its too early, maybe in a couple of weeks seidio or mugen and hopefully otterbox & case mate will start selling protective cases for extended batteries.

I am ordering an extended battery soon for a side project, but I was gonna test my bumper case with it to see if they worked together. I have one of the aluminum bumpers you can get on ebay for under 20 bucks. Doesn't seem to hurt my signal at all.
search ebay for "n7100 extended battery case" and you'll find cases that have 3600 mah battery built in to them. I need to order one but great compromise I think for battery and case
www.ebay.com/itm/3600Mah-Rechargeab...50883?pt=Battery_Chargers&hash=item337dd39723
they also have ones with the flip cover that goes over the screen too.
Can you trust those eBay ones?
Had anyone found an answer for this? I have a 6600 mah battery and I bought one of the aluminum bumper cases on eBay and my 4g signal was GONE. Took it off and my signal was strong again.

these cases are complete garbage and dangerous. be very careful. there are already tons of reviews on amazon about these cases. ive read reviews for the same type of cases as well for other phones (iphone 5/galaxy s3). they take forever to charge and heat up beyond safe temperatures (can lead to injury/harm).

the only one that i've read about that does not harm your signal is the sweet armor bumper, but it's a bit pricey. check it out in the "post your case" thread if you haven't done so already.
My Samsung Note 2 should be here this wendsday along with a Mime tempered glass screen protector. I am planning on buying the Zero Lemon 9400mah battery when it is available early April. Since I'm going to mod my defender to fit the extended battery should I get another separate UAG case for the stock battery when I use it? The reason I ask is because I don't know if there will be complications between the modded defender and stock battery since I'm cutting the case. I already ordered the defender so I just don't know if I should get the UAG at this point. Also if there are any other accessories for the N2 that you recommend let me know

I don't think you'd have a problem using a modded defender with the regular phone. You may have a problem modding it in the first place to fit the zerolemon though. I would get the uag since it's so much smaller than the defender anyways and it'll look and feel better when not using the zerolemon.

I would get UAG case now since you will need a protection for your phone, and then wait until Zerolemon starts to ship their battery in a few weeks to find out if Defender could even be modified for it. Don't buy Defender yet. I can tell you that most likely I will be getting Zerolemon battery myself and I have Defender (fake) which I'm going to measure up to see if mod is even possible (which I seriously doubt).
Actually, the more I think about it, the more I consider Zerolemon as a specialty battery battery for watching movies during your commute or on a plane or when you are on a long trip, etc. For that occasion Zerolemon guys fine-tuning their TPU case to give you a good handling grip, lip protection, and basic case to hold it together. Having TPU case is convenient to switch between Zerolemon and regular battery w/UAG. No need to unlatch and remove multi-layer parts of the case. I also been told by Zerolemon team they are working on a rugged case which might be your everyday solution for their battery. Depending on that case, I might end up dropping all of my other cases and switching exclusively to it!!! It just so great to have this multi-day battery freedom
My point, don't invent into Defender yet, unless you already bought it and can't return it.

I bought the Defender case already but the ebay seller agreed to let me cancel the order. I'll be picking up the UAG case and wait on Zerolemon to release their battery. Thanks for the advice guys, and if you have anymore recommendations for accessories let me know
I dont think the defender will be able to cover that monster. I mean, it bulges with a 6400... I guess we'll see around mid-late April when the zero lemon ships.
I don't know about you guys, but if I were to buy a zerolemon I would probably never take it off. I would just get used to the 5+ days of charge and could never go back to stock battery.

many thanks to @vectron for his usefull reviews
I bought a Zero Lemon 9300Mah latest TPU case version, review found here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2243462
I bought a Fake Otterbox Defender because i dint know better until i read his review here and found out mine was fake http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2174889
I bought a UAG Note 2 case only after i ordered my otterbox and read his review here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2149854
Descided the Otterbox made this already big phone even bigger that i didnt want a otterbox holster and bought a verticle pouch from this review http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2263371
So for me comparison was: is the big zerolemon extended battery really that big? are those guys on the zero lemon thread really saying it nots that big? can i get a holster, case, something to carry it instead of putting it my pocket? a otterbox case in my pocket was not fun, a stock battery with no case was not fun in my pockets! Do i have to mod my otterbox so i can get a belt clip holster thingy?
I am sure there are others out there like me that wants these queston answered!
Well here they are pictures for your comparison.
Otterbox vs uag
otterbox in holster vs uag in vertical pouch
vertical pouch vs zero lemon
vertical pouch vs zerolemon upside down
from left to right
UAG, otterbox, zerolemon
Side profile, closest to furthest UAG, otterbox, zerolemon. as you can see otterbox is taller or thicker you may say
top shot, left to right. zero lemon, otterbox, UAG. as you can see, zerolemon is shorter than both cases
verdict:
Zero Lemon is thinner than otterbox but thicker than UAG
Zero Lemon is shorter than both otterbox and UAG
Zero Lemon is heavier of course than both of the cases
Zero Lemon paired with a vertical pouch is a match made in heaven. Heavy duty pouch/holster,killer battery life and Tweaked Rom that allows me to kill the battery low nag. AWESOME!!!
Much love @vectron for your reviews, this one is for you buddy!
Now what do i do with my extra batteries LoL
EDIT: the above statement is a joke. i am not selling or want to sell or considering on selling them. Thank You, no more PM's if i want to sell them, they will be ignored.
Great review/comparison and thanks for kind words!!! When I started to read your review I wasn't sure which way it will go because usually people reply to me being upset that I made them spend more money lol!!!
Regarding OEM batteries, a lot of people have fancy cases which can obviously work with slim battery only. If you want to use UAG, you can't use ZL battery. In my case, weekdays at work I use UAG, weekends I use ZL. Although now with smartwatch use which draining my battery (because of all the extra apps I had to install to push/monitor notifications) I will have to switch to ZL permanently.
Don't forget, ZL should have a rugged case in a few weeks which can work with slim, double, and ZL batteries.
Nice, thanks for the info and pics!! As for what you should do with the stock sized batteries - sell them to me of course! Lol. Seriously, I would love to try out the Anker batteries! Wouldn't mind having extra Samsung batteries either! I have an external battery charger and 1 extra Samsung battery now. I want at least 1 more, but would like 2 more!
SwiftKey'ed from my White Sprint Note 2 using XDA Premium
I am going to keep the batteries for a little while longer. Will let you know when I am ready. i am not selling them
I am trying to solve the same problem you are at the same time.
I am starting with the zerolemon tpu case and the seido convert holster, but I hadn't given thought to a pouch type holster which is probably where i'll end up.
Army/navy stores, camping stores and other such places tend to have really good belt holsters for things like this, if you have any near you definitely worth a look.
I decided t9 try your route and vot the Zero Lemon battery and ordered a leather pouch. Thanks for the info.

UPDATE: Shoot out, LoL!
$2.55 case vs $7.61 case!
Phone has ZeroLemon 9300 extended battery case
Following is the $2.55 case
Following is the original $7.61 case
$2.55 case on left, $7.61 case on right
New $7.61 case vs 3 month old $7.61 case on the right of course LoL
$2.55 case will fit the note 2 with a zero lemon battery in it much better than the $7.61 case. the $2.55 case is wider where as the $7.61 case will require some stretching to fit the zerolemon case.
As you can see the $7.61 case only lasted 3-4 months for me of daily work usage. it got a little wet from the rain once or twice.
Right now, since they are so cheap, i bought two $2.55 cases, after shipping it came out to $10 ish, still cheaper than the $7.61 case

I just received my note 2's extended battery, and tempered glass screen protector. So, i popped it all in and stuff, but it seems i can't seem to find any nice cases for a 6200mAh battery. :/ You guys have any suggestions? I have this. I bought it because i liked the back cover like that over hyperion. And one question, does the bumper cases work for extended battery's?
Hey guys I was wondering if anyone has found a solution for fitting a decent case over these phones with extended batteries. I only found that zerolemon gives a decent case (still not as rugged as I desire, but better than no case!) but I would prefer to go with a extended battery that is not as bulky such as mpj or hyperion. Any suggestions on getting a good case or am I doomed till hyperion or mpj releases one (probably never?).

I don't think you'll find a magic case that will shrink existing matter into a smaller space. The larger capacity demands a larger battery that is not going to be smaller or form fitting to a phone not initially designed for it. It will have to be bulky by definition.
The zero lemon option at least is boxy and rectangular. The other options are lopsidedly large at the base. I personally am going to add a tpu case over my mpj battery for added grip.
i didnt even realize extended batteries were still made. isn't that too bulky?

I saw this one:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00ZAK1GAS/ref=psdcmw_3081461011_t1_B015XBS45I?th=0
and ordered a clone off eBay. Getting here tomorrow, will let you know how it goes. Not willing to use the super slippery back that comes with these extended batteries!
Do you guys think my g4 with a mugen battery and door, could I put one of those metal or hybrid bumpers on this?
Doubt a bumper would work. There is usually at least one part of the new back that alters the dimensions of the edge. The zerolemon one makes the whole thing boxy. The one I linked to above changes the whole lower 3/4th edge.
If you did your own 3d printing of a new back, and only had a pronounced lump in the center, potentially you could.
Case for extended battery
I use an otterbox on my G4 with 6200 ma battery. I leave the phone back off, cut the back out of the otterbox where the battery would hit and then just stretch the rubber over. It tucks into a groove in the front half and works great
I use Hyperion Extended battery and Hyperion TPU Case, and i do modification to add NFC feature on Hyperion
You can see on my attachment. White TPU Case too easy to get dirty

The case I got off ebay which is the same as the Hyperion one does have a lip, thus making the front very similar to many TPU cases.
