I've seen a few people asking if the HTC one has wimax because they see 4G instead of LTE.
Well I made an easy tutorial on how to change that plain 4G icon to LTE, or the Verizon LTE symbol, or the T-mobile one.
Check it out here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2330848
Here are what you can change it to.

Nice!
Is it possible to show 4g with signal bars like wimax?

I can't post in the development section but the black background in the messaging app in Revolt 1.5 makes it impossible to see what messages are new. Is there a fix for this? The changelog for 1.5 sounds like this should be fixed but I still have the problem.
Nevermind, I just switched to handcent.

By the way you can tell which messages have been read by the color of the arrows. Blue means not read.

when I try to add an attachment to a text I can only see the icons on the menu for it, no words. Thanks for all your hard work MT.

Will there ever be a way to switch between 3G and 4G without a reboot on this phone? I just got my daughter the HTC Rezound and it has that capability. I like to switch to CDMA only to save battery when I don't need 4g speed.

Try this, from you dialing menu type *#*#4636#*#* this brings you to a testing screen. Go into the phone info menu and towards the bottom you can select from several signal types that take effect within a few seconds.

When I type this and hit send it dials and says it cant be completed. Am I doing something wrong?
Sent from my VS910 4G using XDA App
You shouldn't need to hit send. As soon as I enter the last "*" I am taken straight to the testing menu.
If this doesn't work there is an option in the Rezound's network settings.
Sent from my ADR6425LVW using XDA App
Yeah I can do it on the Rezound. I want to make the Revo do it.
Sent from my VS910 4G using XDA App
I am unsure if the 4636 code doesn't work. I have read of people having com.android crashing trying to use it with the Revo

It would be nice if mt could work it into GV 1.4.

Elecont Weather adds various status icons. I only use the sky conditions icon in order to keep my display clean. Elecont also allows you to choose from symbol (seen in the screen cap) or picture icons.
Here's a shot with multiple Elecont icons:
AccuWeather works well, and it has a nice widget in the notification tray.

how to change icon on menu lg g2 thanks
Hold down on icon without moving it's location. Then let up. It should then put a little purple paintbrush in the corner. Now tap again and you should have the option to tweak it. Or just change your theme.

On kitkat you can't change reach icon to a different theme but you can change the icon within the dance theme. I'm not sure what they were thinking making a change like that...

I thought I was goin crazy cause I couldn't pull up the icon themes on kitkat! I couldn't find anything on the internet about it I thought j got a bad update... lol there's a app called icon changer on the play store it's pretty awesome! U can change the icon the name make custom bookmarks & shortcuts I have like 5 icon pack attached to it. Whoever took the icon changer theme away from kitkat needs to be shunned!

I'm on kit Kat and can still change individual icons on the stock launcher without 3rd party apps....

Sent from my VS980 4G using XDA Free mobile app
If you can pull the individual icons out of the themes, then yes. You could crop from a screen shot.
Sent from my VS980 4G
HEY!!! Looks like u can! How? The info button used to pop up all the icon themes but now it does nothing? I call investigate cause I thought Google & xda would be flooded with complaints but j didn't see anything when I looked up why I couldn't! Shinanagins I tell ya!
