Again, how did you delete/erase them? I cant really help much without that info. The only way I can think of for deleting ALL your apps is to do a factory reset, in which case they are gone. Because thats the point of a factory reset. Another way is to delete the directory that the apps are in. Which also pretty much means they are gone. The only way to get deleted apps back is to either download them all from the Play Store again, or restore a backup if you made one. If you didnt make a backup, your apps are most likely gone. Sorry.

Boy! Talk about 'lost in translation!' He's unable to understand your problem/question. Why not try saying it in your own language, maybe a soul can understand your problem, help you solve it, and even translate your problem for anyone else that might have it.

Sounds like he was using titanium backup (or something similar) and instead of backing up, he deleted.
If that's what happened, if you hadn't made a backup previously, no idea how to recover what you deleted.

You will lose them unless you back them up. I use sms backup+ from the market. It links your messaging app with gmail so you can back up and restore.

If you use Titanium Backup, your texts are automatically backed up when you do a full system data + apps backup. You can restore them manually from the Backup/Restore tab of TiBu (it's one of the items in green, I forgot which one exactly). Just make sure you don't choose to restore all system data with TiBu or you might mess up your ROM and have to reflash. You'll have to reboot your phone after the restore for your texts to show up.

+1 SMS backup + is really easy and works flawless for me.
Don't use titanium backup to restore texts. Often it will cause force closes that require a reflash to fix depending on which roms you are moving between.
You could just change roms without using odin or clearing like I do, heh.

And this also isn't a best way to install a ROM. Yeah it works, but you also can run the risks of a bad install. I think we'll all agree, the last thing we need is more threads regarding constant force closing or soft-bricked phones.
---
I REALLY like SMS Backup+. I have automatic backups set, and since everything gets backed up to my Gmail account, that's one less thing I need to remember to copy off the phone before a ROM flash.

You shouldn't have to use odin but I agree. Definitely clear cash and data.
I don't think we should be recommending odin one click to everyone because it can harm the newest build of captivates. It's also very unnecessary.

I disagree. Bad ROM installs usually mean fc's, isolated problems and maybe stuck at boot screen. If that happens, simply wipe data+cache and try again. Flashing back to stock on the other hand--if something goes wrong, you're looking at a soft-brick (requiring a jig on some Captivates), worst-case-scenario, your bootloader is corrupt and you hope you know someone with a JTAG.
Hey everyone,
yesterday I was trying to upgrade my Android to Froyo. I did all the steps, everything was going great and when I had to restore (the final step) after I booted the phone everything looked just like when I bought it. The main differance though, was that all my contacts, messages, the Android Market, Astro File Manager and many other apps were GONE! So far I have managed to restore some of my messages, I've been trying to import/export my contacts, but still no sign of them . The most interesting thing is that when I connect my phone to the PC, I can still see all my pictures, music, apps. Can this be solved?
Oh and I forgot to mention that this appears a lot "The process com.google.process.gapps has stopped unexpectedly..." I read how to fix it, but I can't since I cannot access my file manager
Please if you have any idea, let me know. Thanks in advance
Hi are you from stock ROM and you upgraded to froyo of which ROM?
I hope you backup first before the upgrade and I hope you did some clean installation.
Let us know specifically your problem.
I noticed that you are new, please take sometime reading the rules and introducing yourself to everyone Topics are in General Section
Didn't u backup before?
Well yeah, that's normal. Every upgrade requires a full wipe which means that all your data will be erased. Didn't you read the warnings?

For contacts you can restore from your google account if you have synced with google..

Yes, as I said I did all the required steps for upgrade (including the backup), but I guess that wasn't successful, even though I was certain I did it right. Anyway, I was trying to upgrade from 2.1 to Froyo.
Yup, I'm new. Thanks for your advice

I'll try that
When Next time u going to install a Rom be sure to,
Sync contacts with Google
Or install titanium backup or any other.
If u backup via CWM or xrecovery, u can restore data...etc..
I always save contacts to sd,or there is option in pc companion.
The contacts file ends with .vcf !

Yep, that's true
I found my contacts But now the only problem that remains is that I don't have Android Market and Astro File Manager I tried to download them via internet, but when I click to download it says "This is not compatible with your device"
I am such a noob with Android, but I'm learning. Don't judge me

I was uninstalling stock system apps but I realized that I couldn't install any apps! I thought that I deleted a necessary app but I don't know which is. Could you provide it? Can I install it by flashing a cwm zip?

When you don't know what you're doing, things like that could happen. Flash the rom again, with all system apps, don't delete them before flash the rom.
I don't want to flash the Rom again! Which apps are involved in installing? I will restore only these

Man, flash the rom again. You don't lose anything, neither apps or data.
Blah blah I found the app and restored it no flash needed. thanks anyway..

Glad that you fix it. But be less arrogant.
It would be also nice if you would share that app with us

It's the DefaultContainerService. I accidentally deleted it.
There are plenty of lists out there that tell you what apps are safe to remove and which are not. A simple google search of "s3 mini safe apps to remove" and there are numerous website which have lists of what is safe and what is not, even if its not for your specific device, it can be useful as all android phones are very similar.
What the title says. I just want to get rid of all the at&t apps with titanium backup. Is this ok? I'm on ST and don't need or want any of them. Thanks

yes - suggest you "freeze" them rather than delete
Yes you can
Freezing them is giod than instead of deleting or removing it
tapped from DNA
Freezing is the best option. Its hard to bring it back to stock if you delete them.
Thanks everyone. Super fast responses!

What if you have already deleted a bunch and froze others? Can you Factory Reset and go into stock recovery and wipe?
Would this put everything I deleted back or am I SOL?

Factory Data Reset does not restore deleted system apps. Until an odin/oneclick is released for MJ5, your best hope is getting the apks from a phone that is on MJ5. I'd hook you up but I'm happily rooted on MI9.
Is there a list somewhere of apps that are safe to freeze?????
did got you ? :/

full backup of the phone require an app like titanium backup. Unfortunately those app generally require root privileges. Btw contacts are normally saved to your google account. You can backup your user preferences and app settings with htc backup. You can also restore app from google play store. You can backup all your media directly on your pc.

after you unlocked bootloader and flashed a custom recovery, make sure to make a nandroid backup of your phone before starting to flash stuff. So if something goes wrong you can restore from that backup. Make sure also to make a copy of that backup to your computer.
beware that when you will unlock your bootloader.......it will wipe your apps......just do some more reading before starting......cheers!

this is an app to backup ur apps. Install the program on ur pc nd back up. the backup will be created in a folder called Carbon in the root of the phone internal storage. MAKE SURE THAT YOU COPY THIS FOLDER TO UR PC COZ THE INTERNAL STORAGE WILL GET WIPED AFTER A BOOTLOADER UNLOCK
To backup call logs,
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.riteshsahu.CallLogBackupRestore
Just drag nd drop the media to ur PC(music, pics, movies, etc.)
If anyone like me, reading this way later...
There seams to be some apps that doesn't allow Helium to backup it's data. App tells you to ask the individual developer to allow backups for the app in question. I did it anyway, because none of the apps that was disallowed had data you'd want or shouldn't backup. Mostly banking stuff and some secure conversation apps. There are also a bunch of apps just failing to backup...might be something I did wrong...
