Just browse the flashtool to the folder which the ftf file is in and click ok. Then flashtool will see it

@gregbradley can you verify that this is genuine? The format is all wrong, or is this flashed in a different way? It contains two sin set files, which contain the individual sin files. I tried extracting and creating a new package but it came out at 50kb in size. Is this guy serious?

Either read how to "create" FTF from original sony flash files or wait, until someone will do this for you.
hint:
get ANY FTF package for lt30p and open it with winzip or 7zip.
you will understand all.

You got a link on how to do this? I understand what files should be in there but how do I merge the two extracted sin sets properly? Nice to know its legit, is this a leak? And what is the file format its in used for?

OK there's actually quite a difference in this ROM. There doesn't appear to be any "sudden death" issue anymore, or at least its not as frequent, usually when I play MC4 online it reboots after a match or two, just done quite a few matches without this happening. Doesn't seem to run as hot with the same tweaked throttling values either. Very smooth and stable, no bugs noticed yet.

How to make it work:
Change the ro.product.model=LT25I to ro.product.model=C6603 everywhere in your build.prop

Clearing cache and log-out, log-in within the app solved my probs.
Which folder may I find build.prop already please?? can I simply edit it on the phone via Root Explorer for example? Thanks in advance,

yup created a python script that resized everything, there's a little problem with header text they get onto some other texts, but nothing else.
I'm still working on it,
Also it does know your phone as dogo or C5502 which makes no status 7 error anymore

Hi,
Sorry for my huge delay I was at travel,
unfortunately CWM trigger at the top level than TWRP, but as there's nothing impossible the easiest way is that you rename the cwm and twrp (in fact swap those ) and twrp will call on press up and on reboot to recovery instead of cwm

Did you extract all of it? if not:
You should EXTRACT all of it then execute install.bat,
you may not execute install.bat directly from zip explorer, winrar, 7zip or any other decompress programs or just extract install.bat and execute it.

can any one suggest the rooting methods other than vroot and 360.. i tried easy root in 4.2.2, 4.3 and 4.4.2 roms and it failed to root... please help...

i searched a lot but i cant find it.. and mine is c6902
This is the root that i used for 4.4.2. and it also works on 4.4.4.

Make sure you follow the steps and allow it to completely finish . After i updated to 4.4.4 i had problems the first time because it had not finished and it was saying that it had root when in fact it did not so i rerooted it again and had not problem since !
Very easy to use (it uses Towellroot) so it is like 2 clicks and one keystroke :good:

2.Then go to root/system/priv-app. Here has DialerNext folder,rename it to Dialer. Into the folder has apk file DialerNext.apk. Delete it and copy Dialer.apk (which I uploaded below) into Dialer folder

I might be missing out. Is something wrong with truecaller that a replacement is really wanted/needed? Should we not be using truecaller?

Speaking for myself (and I guess many many others), TrueCaller is an anti privacy solution, once you accept to join it immediately uploads your entire phone/address book to their servers to be able to share with other users (that's how it work, you girlfriends/wife/boss secret number will be on their servers, and when that number calls someone using truecaller they will see the name you have in your address book).
I just HATE this....

Hey. Thanks to all the posts here and to whoever posted that zip which flashes the Google dialer.
I made a flashable zip which deletes the truecaller apk, CM dialer and in call UI (DialerNext and INCallUINext) and replaces it with the dialer/call UI from the most recent CM 12.1 Nightly. Main advantage is that it has more forward/reverse lookup features and I think maybe also call recording depending on your location (doesn't seem to work in the USA but I managed to record a call in the UK).
I'm sharing it here for whoever is interested but flash at your own risk. Please note, it only worked for me on a clean flash so you will probably need to factory reset to get it to work. If you try a dirty flash you may end up without a dialer.

Ya I went back to temasek cm12.1 for bacon because there were a few bugs I just couldn't live with so I'm not on COS12.1 anymore. But thanks for the new zip if I go back I'll try it out!

This is not hard to delete CM dialer and contact
