succes on MHL adapter ?
original samsung or other brands ?
S3 mini is not mhl compatible. It has neither a 7 pin or 11 pin microusb socket. Also tested with the cables.

You can output videos via wifi if your tv supports it.

Yeah. DLNA to be more precise.

I known dis posts old but if u don't have a TV with WiFi support like mine. What I so is turn on my 360 slim connect to my WiFi at home connect my s3 mini to that same WiFi then stream songs videos and pictures straight to the TV . If using stock ROM when watching video look at top left corner will be a icon of TV should have a number in it if it detects your TV through your ps3/4 or Xbox 360/s thanks.

hi,
i already got the mhl adapter for micro usb to hdmi, thats working fine,
but i there a solutuion to do this wireless.
i dont only want to stream videos or audio, i want to have the full homescreen streamed.
the reason is, i want to connect an external hdd via usb
thank you
easiest way is probably ipad2/iphone4s with apple TV2 on IOS5
check this out for android
http://code.google.com/p/androidscreencast/
which does the same thing except in place of Apple TV2, you need a PC there.

I think DLNA is your only option there. You need a TV with dlna support.

but with dlna I only can stream movies or pictures or audio
still need to stream the home screen or games

Is it possible to share my Note screen on my LG SmartTV?
I want to do it directly Note -> TV without a need of a computer. I know that is possible with a LG Smartphone.. with the SmartShare app, but when I install that app on my Note I got the erroe "Manufacter does not match" ...
Any solutions?
Thanks!
Nothing?
You could use MHL to HDMI and directly link to your TV, which is as simple as plugging in an MHL cable (which you have to purchase separately) between the two. I don't know of a wireless way though, sorry.

That can only be used with the samsung smart tv not with lg

LG allows media sharing through this app, but its not a direct link and you can't share anything but media. You could also find a DLNA server on the market, but there's doesn't seem to be an easy screen share method.

I own a LG 3D TV and sometimes use Allshare to view videos i recorded, even music and pictures works..
Sharing images/videos is not the problem, the big deal is screen share wireless
If you could juri rig MHL to be wireless, that's the only way, unless you code something to do it for you.

Movies play fine on the phone, however, when connected to tv via mhl cable the playback is extremely slow both video and audio! Any solution?
Use bsplayer
Sent from my LT29i using Tapatalk 2
I've never used bsplayer but used Mxplayer and it worked for me fine.
Just try both bsplayer and Mxplayer

No joy. I've tried many different players. It plays back fine on the phone but as soon as its hooked up to tv via mhl it affects playback (becomes slow motion like) but plays back normal as soon as its unplugged from the mhl cable!?
Generic Mhl cable works fine when using other phones like galaxy s2
Go to service in phone dialer then check your settings. Maybe set it to 720p?

Thanks for the tip. However u have to do that each time u connect it. Any fix for that?
Hey. I was wondering if there was any option to connect our phone (optimus 4x) to TV, in my case the Samsung Smart Tv Es8000 ([samsung.com/uk/consumer/tv-audio-video/television/led-tv/UE40ES8000UXXU) .
If possible, what should I get ? (cables and that sort of stuff) . I wanted to share the screen with the Tv, for video streaming and gaming on a bigger screen. Any ideas?
Sure u can.. i use this cable http://www.ebay.com/itm/Micro-USB-M...-HTC-Sensation-G14-EVO-3D-flyer-/280766335892
And it shares the image with the tv ? Sorry if noob question ahah

Yeah video and audio, mhl connections are a mix of data and HDMI
if you want to share you phone with your tv, maby you could use the dnla option?
it's an easy way to share pictures/ movies on your tv.
for gaming i think you need the MHL indeed.

Does anyone know if an MHL cable will work to connect the Note5 to a tv. I need to find a way to connect to a tv without having to use a WiFi connection.
Mirricast video adapter
Plug into hdmi... and download Mirricast on the phone .
Or use amazon fire stick.
OR BLE
BLUE TOOTH LOW ENERGY if your TV supports it .
