I've also managed to update most of the features/details for existing ROMs. As well as adding new tags, correcting old tags, updating the Featured Development Slider on the Main Page and fixing some broken/derp'd links.
All's well in the world.

Hey, this looks pretty cool, and useful! I've always wanted a straight-forward, condensed list of ROM and kernel options, so I can easily decide which ROM I want to flash next. It's also nice to just have a Nexus 4 wiki. Consider it bookmarked.

I'm glad you find it useful. If you haven't done so already, you could also check out: [Directory] Mako: ROMs & Kernels. It's definitely a less extensive, although it is straight to the point.

Hi!
This is not N4 specific, but Android general. But it's such an AMAZING good quality sound mod, and works marvellously in N4, that I thought you could add it to your wiki.
Nice idea your wiki, BTW

These icons are for use with a program like folder organizer. You can read tutorials online somewhere as to how they need to be applied. I made the very basic for this so far I will take requests as well. There will eventually be a MM for all of the icons. They will only change the ones on your desktop but not in the menu. So enjoy. Dinik is the creator of Valeria. I just made an addon pack for him and now I am making some for android. All credit for Valeria goes to Dinik. Don't use his work for anything without his permission. Don't cook in my icons of his in any other rom without my permission and/or Dinik's permission.

thanks iw as looking to playing around with a new rom tonight. this one will be it.
Uploading a mirror now guys...
Mirror is uploaded. Enjoy guys! I will check in later!
Flashing now. Will post up initial thoughts tomorrow.
First impression is "Wow" Very smooth. Trying to get used to the Z Roms. I miss the power control in the pull down, but I like the skin option, and especially the carbon skin.,
I do like the recent apps in the pull down, but when using the power control widget, it of course isn't themed to match the carbon rosie. Just a small pet peeve of mine, but I am not smart enough to fix it!
I wish someone could figure out how to mod the Rosie for these Z Roms.
Nice Work. Thanks.
Sounds good mate!
I am working on the themes with another guy and I am trying to work on some mods so please keep that in mind... Report on any issues. I look forward to your feedback...
Cheers,
Shokouhi

this rom sounds tasty
i think i may give it a go when i can "risk" not havin my phone for a few hours...
2 questions though - since i'm probably going to use launcherpro - is there much to really gain with a "z" rom?
guess i really dont knkow much about the z roms, googling info soon though lol...
i'm going to run it for an afternoon either way, just curious cause the senseless version of RR is rockin reallly good right now, cant think of much else i'd gain (thanks lou
kindof a part 2, but is the z rom "present" in rosie/sense only? i'm thinkin lp probably will mask most of the rom
How about your "fixes"? are you planning on needing a "full" wipe flash? cause honestly i dont mind resetting all my phone... but would be nice if i plan on doing a nandroid and actually going through ALL my settings agian lol
but hey, rom looks good - look forward to giving it a go
i would like to say thanks in advance for sharing your work

Well mate I did not mean it that way at all. Correction I am working with Wes. LOL!
Now with fixes I will work on that and look into that. I will get those things rolling as soon as possible but they do take time. Therefore enjoy the rom in the mean time. I think most would agree not only is the Z rom serious eye candy but it is optimized for speed. IncDoes did an amazing job with the port. With the cooked in kernal from Chad you can get quadrant speeds of 1700-1775 or so from our tests. So you be the judge.
Read all the post and had to try out. So for so good. Was sluggish on first start-up but after restart is nice and fast. Nice job.

I am glad you are enjoying the rom mate. They will only continue to get better from this point on. I am sorry it was sluggish at first. I tested a few times flashing and did not experience that at all. I will monitor the thread and see if that continues to be an issue for other users.
I think it was that I was setting up all my accounts and updating programs. I really like your Rom and it will be on my inc for awhile.

[ROM] *BETA* GreenRom Project presents CM7

Before we begin let's set some things straight:
1. This is a beta and is under testing
2. As the post implys, this is CM based(CM7)
3. This is a work in progress
4. This is built, changed, and improved from community response(we need your help!!)
5. This is managed regulary, afa the incredible, by Treken since he has the HTC Inc(This doesn't negate the fact that whole GRP dev team is working on this project to improve it constantly)
We have been hard at work over at the Green Rom Project. Thanks to the dev team, we have managed to establish our github and have begun deving our rom.
Themeing has begun, but allot is needing to be themed. It has been cm based for now and is optimized for better performance during compilation process.
Our goal is to build a stable, efficient, fast, and gorgeous rom for others to enjoy, while learning and teaching others how to develope the android system.
Our site is geared specifically to cater to the noob or even intermediate developer that just wants to learn and have fun doing it, because developing is supposed to be fun otherwise why do it!
Special thanks the following for making this rom possible:
CM for Cm7!! As well as all of his work
XDA for this site
Stoute for our site!!
JBird for all his work and establishing the GRP GitHub
LivLogik for his outstanding graphical work with boot animations
DLamber for his work at GRP
Treken for GRP Inc development
Verizon for providing a solid network

Gapps is available in the"download rom" section of rom manager. We've worked really hard to get this project going. Allot of time and energy has been poured into this project! I have an incredible and am the only one on the dev team that can test. Any feed back will be appreciated. We still have a majority of the rom to theme. Just getting the github lined out was a giant leap for us. You can visit out site and learn to dev and compile your own rom if you choose. It should run nice and smooth a it's been optimized making it run faster. Hope you enjoy it! ;-)

Just did. We left Gapps out because it's available on Rom Manager. Also, it makes the rom much lighter without all the Gapps. By using the Rom Manager you can choose which Gapps you want to install. We've been trying to streamline our rom so that it also improves the speed. Anything that we've removed can be downloaded from the market. I will bee trying to get the change log together for this rom so you will know what's been improved/removed. I'm working 7 days a week right now with little time for moderating our site or deving our rom. Please be patient as I will try to get everything squared away. Thanks!

Personally, I'm tired of people calling other people's work their own. Jdk actually contacted me and cleared himself as a developer of this kang. So it really comes down to someone else taking CyanogenMod, changing the boot animation and the build.prop. IMO this thread should be closed until some real development begins.

I don't see what your issue is with ppl kanging CM7 and releasing it? It's marked very clear in the subject it's CM7. It thanks users for contributions. If cyanogen didn't want people to kang him the option wouldn't be available. For example, take a look at how many different CM roms there are at the droid eris forums, nobody *****es and moans about how horrible those devs are for their horrible "stealing" of open source code.

Any thoughts of Theme Engine?

Hey, I may be the thousandth person asking this, but I was wondering if this ROM will get Theme Engine. It would be a great thing if we see a theme engine since Omni is my favorite ROM, but unfortunately, I love Arz's Themes. Thanks!

There have been discussions off and on about this. It's something I'd like to bring back eventually, problem is:
1) The "old" theme engine did not perform well on KitKat
2) The "new" CM theme engine is tens of thousands of lines of code that has a tendency to be buggy and problematic. No one so far has had the free time to try and get it properly integrated and fixed up AND keep maintaining it afterwards.
In general, the larger a change is in lines of code, the more caution we take when taking that change from an external source. We got lucky with ActiveDisplay that squadzone took ownership of it and managed to pull off the miracle of fixing it, but we're all a bit cautious after the nightmare that was AD.

Also, I'm not interested in CM. Too many of headaches at once (NO THANK YOU). I rather use PA, which is quite good and works good even on my ancient Galaxy S, even without OC. No need to even stop apps, yet, it works flawlessly. Hence I don't think I fall short on RAM, no freezes, idk what you mean by Lockups

No it really isn't. The theme engine still causes all kinds of headaches without any themes used.
Only if I knew how to make an unofficial build with theme engine :/
not that its important for anybody...but if omni integrates theme engine, im switching to one of the last roms without theme engine^^
as themer i liked older times with theme engine, but now i think its some sort of useless. overhyped/overprized/not-systemwide-themed themes, which will get limited support and quick lose any support.
if someone needs theme engine, why not use one of the many roms with integrated theme engine? (yeah i know, what an argument)
if you wanne theme omnirom, why not make a flashable.zip theme?
see alen1901 and his purity theme, sinply made flashable.zip theme. easy to do so. no need for theme engine :silly:

I think that's being a bit overly harsh. A theme engine does have its place - there are plenty of good themes out there.
The thing is, it has to be done RIGHT if it's done - that's why the cherry-picks from CM haven't really gone anywhere in review. (There are a variety of reasons, including the fact that I know from looking at the list of commits there is stuff missing, and also the commits were submitted by someone that I don't think is going to be able to fix any issues that might come up on their own.). And right now, we just don't have the time to do it *right*.
I took a crack at integrating theme engine from DU which is "Omni-based"...
Well theme engine is a nightmare to integrate unless you've been routinely cherry-picking CM for ages. It has all sorts of undocumented dependencies.
If someone has a COMPLETE list of all Theme Engine commits AND all dependencies (the latter is a *****, since in CM's case they put in the T-Mobile theme engine, then partially reverted it leaving only some bits) I might take a look again. I'm not looking at the stuff thats on Omni's gerrit now since someone squashed the AOSP runtime resource overlay commits into the TE commits, or didn't even bother including them.
I find this post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2585844&page=201, this rom have two variants: one based on CM, another on AOSP. In this post wrote, what @scott.hart.bti merged new theme engine with his rom.

I think you are refering to my latest patchset
At the point uploading the patch, I tried to find all commits from CM, but not that easy, many changes get merged there every day.
Sure, i messed up the existing commit from old theme engine.
It takes much longer for me to check compiler issues etc., in real life i am far away from linux, android and other stuff (orthopedic assistanz).
I have to learn everything myself, started compileing roms in december 2013.
There is not much help, only google is the best friend in this direction - and i don't have that much time.
I wonder, why no one else tried it? There are hundrets of ETAs about it, but no one tried.
The source of the rom @Bishop1312 refering to seems to have all / most CM commits for theme engine.

It was someone else that submitted the patchsets... And there are no ETAs about it, not a single member of the team has given an ETA.
As to why no one else has tried it - lots of people are busy, and also, there's the fact that this particular feature is MASSIVE - on the order of 12,000 lines of code in frameworks/base alone. That's a lot of places for things to go wrong. People on the Omni team are VERY nervous about taking in large chunks of code we don't understand from external sources after the ActiveDisplay mess. (It took a long time for someone to take ownership of it and fix the issues, and I'm afraid not many of us have the free time to be taking ownership of something that large right now.)

No, since links to thread pages (as opposed to specific posts) break when viewed by anyone who has their posts per page count changed.

I meant user asking for ETAs, not team member.
I know how.much work to do, i tried earlyer but failed...
Do you know why i love Omni & Slim?
Only working things get merged better to have a Stable Rom instead half working or buggy features - that makes a huge dufferents. Other Roms are controlled by the user - not good all the time.

Ugh. Overall, I'm fine with most stuff being squashed, but the one exception is the runtime resource overlay stuff. That should not have been squashed in, and it makes applying the commit very difficult. (Because I refuse to merge anything that has the runtime resource overlay stuff squashed in. While theme engine does depend on it, it's a separate thing that has multiple potential uses.)

[VOLUNTEERS NEEDED] Custom ROM Comparison Database for Lollipop

The old ROM comparison chart is outdated and the structure is a bit messy, so I want to make a new one, exclusively for lollipop ROMs.
Lollipop Custom ROM Comparison Database
My info collection method:
1) Rom name + version number + XDA Link
2) Rom Logo
3) I start by visiting every stock menu entry (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Display) in settings app and write out the options that were added to stock lollipop.
4) Then, I write out added menu entries (themes, performance profiles).
5) Upload screenshots on imgur as a vertical album. (Or better: screenrecord extra menus and upload on youtube)
6) Insert imgur/youtube link at the end of the column.
7) Add rows if necessary.
To avoid trolling I made the document read-only. Download the original one edit it and attach it below.

Good attempt, hope this will grow slowly but steady.
We already have had a ROM comparison, but not related to Nexus 5, was more kind of general.
The guys moved to an Excel Online spread sheet now. But also, only general, not Nexus 5 related.
If you join them or if you do your own thing, I wish you all the best. But if you come up with a bigger comparison, let's say with 5 or more ROMs compared, drop a PM or post it in my Nexus 5 index thread and I will include it.
Added Cataclysm ROM and RastaPop
Added Dirty Unicorns 9.1

Hi, I'm one of the members of the team that started this and I can only thank you for mentioning it.
As you've said, we recently moved to Office 365 which allows us to expand and host a whole new range of features; it would be wonderful if you (OP) could check it out and maybe we could 'join forces'
Thanks
Clarify Please
Not to be a smart ass....
But Could you please explain how or what the colors / symbols mean please.
I get it opened up and it has light green and a light red with u's with dots on top.
What do they mean?
Green is ok, good working? Red is bad, not working?
Maybe some simple Y's and N's...
IDK
Thank you for the time to make the chart.
I'm about to upgrade to v5 Lolipop and Found it interesting, helpful.

I really appreciate the work of your team, as I, myself have used your comparison database several times in the past, but as android was updated to lollipop and developers started rebuilding their roms, most of information in the database became inaccurate (at least for Nexus 5). For example Xposed is barely working, paranoid is just vanilla with theme engine (for now), dirty unicorns doesn't have pie, pac-rom is still stuck at kitkat and so on. That's why I had the idea to start fresh.
Also I wanted the feature list to be better organized and more intuitive.
As your database needs a serious renewal, I suggest we refine my feature list and than add roms step-by-step.
Update
Added Cyanogenmod 12 in Comparison Will add PA Alpha 1 and Slim LP soon

Very good,
I tried PA but v5.0 only has theme engine added , nothing more. They are still in early alpha, so let's wait.

I can do for purity rom. As it is 1:23 am in India i will do it in the morning
Interesting project, I'll keep an eye on it.
Just wanted to report there are some inconsistencies with the Euphoria entry: it DOES have customizable quick tiles, long-press recents for last app, menu on both sides, 3+ tiles per row (3 or 4 to be precise).
Unfortunately I don't have time to mainatin the entry myself since I don't flash regularly so I'm usually not up to speed with the features.
Anyway, excellent work, bookmarked!

Thanks! Got alot to learn but should have a replica build by Monday, then I'll spend my time learning and waiting for a new source code with a Sammy update or if I change something I personally like more.
You should ask Stang, he fixed the Lockscreen issue so you shouldn't have to run into it anymore if he tells ya how!!

Looking good bro. Putting things together like a seasoned pro! Congrats on the release!
For the users in the community, you have been blessed with a new developer in this community of so few devs so I suggest showing appreciation and being active in ROM development conversations!
The man asked for some feedback and it looks like close to 20 people have installed the ROM.
Not asking much or anything in particular, just some feedback on how install went or how things are running. I'm sure he is open for suggestions or possibly requests?
This ROM is brand new with a clean slate for crafting into something "YOU" want!
So let's keep this place alive and give you another solid ROM option.
I mean really there are only a few active ROMs and that number will only shrink with time.
It really doesn't take much to keep a dev motivated, but the same goes for making a device lose motivation with no interest.
This guy is hot, pumped to be building and I know with a little interest this ROM could be the go to ROM for users looking for an improvement over stock!
