What is the default filesystem for this device? I'm gonna try some tweaks if it's ext4, could anyone answer please? I googled it but couldn't find anything.

At least in costum roms updster script system gets ext4 formatted.

sounds logical, I've never seen ext-4 support in kernel features, so I guess its ext4, thanks :good:

stock lite 7.1
I recommend using Link2SD instead...
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.buak.Link2SD&hl=en
Simply make a second partition on your SD card, ext2, ext3, ext4 or FAT32 format, then install the app, run it, select the correct format, reboot and use the app to save yourself loads of space!
ok thanks
Hi, I have a 32gb sd, and to make it run, i had to make 2 partition of 15/16 gb, and what i want to know is if there is a way to automount the 2nd partition at phone start... plus if there is a way to use only 1 big partition instead of 2 little ones, but i don't really care about it... I hope you can understand what i'm saying xD
Thanks
Try to use an app from playstore called link to sd..
Hit thanks button if i helped

If you would read stuff around you would know that partitioning is only posible on custom kernel.

And you should know that SD card can be partitioned on PC.
If it is usefull for you, i changed to nAa ICS 4 and MiniCM9 (whatever the lastest version is), and now for some reason, my sd-ext partition is the 2nd FAT32, my EXT4 is useless, and the phone doesn't automount my swap partition... i think i broke something xD

No need to use link2sd. I think there is an option in the cyanogenmod settings where you can set the default install location of the apps to the sd card.

Check system/etc/init.d for 05mountsd. Delete or move it and reboot. It conflicts with Link2sd script.

AW: [Q] cm10 little problem
Yea use cm10.1.
Cm 10 is outdated, buggy and abandoned while cm10.1 is as smooth as gb and is almost at final stage

But there are anyway to mount /data and /sd-ext to ext4 partition like psn nims kernel does?

You can use a script like int2ext4.
But it work fully and use ext4 partition as internal storage ?

Hi folks,
can I format my 16 GB microSD with ext4? Do I need a different kernel?
Thank you

I have existenz rom... Do you Think extfat is best choice? I mean, I could try ext4, then if it works: good if it doesn't work, go back to exfat.
Ive tested exfat and its working fine on sp although i had xperia arc s and ext4 worked only on cm roms
Cheers1
