You already have an option to slide the brightness without a slider. Search in the brightness settings
How can I change settings on status bar?? Like in above screenshot posted by 'hackerse7en' ?
I mean that network,wifi,alarm icons on left side and Time in the middle?

This one does a similar job. It shows the speeds on the notification pulldown panel.

It also has a graph showing the speeds. Blue is download and red is upload.

1-edit battery icon---Signal---Wifi---3G--- all status bar icons
2--Status bar layout and skiln
3--copy framework-res-apk >TO> System/framework/replace framework.Apk
4-Copy SystemUi to System/app/

First - Make Backup of original File System
download the SystemUI file
copy it to the System > app
Now simply reboot the device.
