I suggest you flash CM10.1 and a kernel like Werewolf or iodak. That would certenly reduce the lag. If you don't want to void your warranty there are a few apps out there that should increase your performance. Try Tegra Overclock.

Custom roms have no bloatware, they are lighter and most of the time smoother than stock rom thanks to a lot of work by the dev, and there are a lot of tweaks and improvements that are made in a kernel!
Just try one and you'll see how much a "simple" kernel can change your phone

Reflash ROM after full wipe or simply use another ROM.
By the way , did you overclock ?
If I overclock it a little fast, but always reboot, if not it so slow, I don't want like this...

More features like bigmem, touchwake, more governors etc but when i overclock on semaphore the odd app will crash.
i read that the crashed by live oc are caused of the low voltage you must toogle the voltage ... can sema kernel have a longer battery life ?

Same as stock (battery life). Increasing the voltage is at risk, and cause a decrease battery life!
Each other kernel except Stock is unnecessary (in my opinion)! :fingers-crossed: I don't see any advantage
sorry my english is not the best so you say these kernels like sema kernel are not necessary stock is good ?

On what Rom you are?
I suggest to flash Zeus Rom 7.5 or 7.6. Zeus tweaker is built in app. There you can change frequency and MHz up to 1350

And this doesn't belong in General...

There are a few kernels for GB 2.3.4 that can OC, I would suggest use Zeus 6.4 or higher, it already comes with a OC kernel and an app to use it.
There kernels for CM7 that can OC.
There is at least one kernel for CM10 with OC.
There is no OC kernel for LG's ICS.
If you have a kernel that supports OC you normally need an app to set OC because your CPU runs normally at 300-1000 MHz and you need to change that setting.

Well if u want fast and stable then its iodak ,but if u want some new experimental features then EProjects kernel is for you.
Iodak kernel is the best one for Stock IMO, if you want performance and battery. I've had a way better exprience after flashing that.

That's kind of a facepalm question. New android versions need better hardware and we are still stuck with our old crappy hardware. As the OS takes up more resources, the game has less to work with.
I knew it just checking if I was going right but still thanks
