Hi, I have probably soft bricked my phone.. It stucks at booting screen and I can't go to recovery mode, but I can go to download mode and my phone is recognized by Odin. It happened when I flashed JetMod3 using CoCore6.8 cwm recovery.. what should I do? I know some methods but I am not 100% sure and I don't want to ruin it totally.. thx for help

thats the reason why I asked to confirm.....
if you wiped on stock ics rom in stock recovery then it means your phone is bricked.
Phone getting stuck on factory fs during flash via pc odin is another confirmation.
Follow the guide in this --
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1667886
If you have warranty then go to service centre and get motherboard replaced ( a better option) but tell them you were trying for update and phone did not reboot.
ok, recovery mode (CWM) is on now

We need to be clear here. Did the wipe occur on stock 3e ICS recovery, Which is NOT a CWM recovery. OR did the wipe happen AFTER reflashing CWM.zip (the one from you-tube or wherever - originally used to root phone).
If the latter, then we are talking about a true SUPERBRICK. ie: repartition or new MOBO being only options.

no bro, no warranty left. too much pain bro...... i really love the note. and still trying to brig it back to life. what about ur device?
Mine got replaced under warranty. You need repartition or fork out big bucks for new MOBO. Try hg42's method. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=26428986

this is not warrantee issue, you voided warrantee by doing stuff. And you used cwm. zip known to be unsafe...why? Who told you to use cwm. zip?
life saver!!!

Need some help with my GT-N7000. I tried flashing the XXLSZ ROM from eybee and obviously messed up big time.
The phone won't boot. After the Samsung logo, I can hear the boot up jingle but there's no display.
I can't boot the phone into recovery but it will boot into download mode.
Can anyone suggest a way to recover from this? I have Nandroid backups but can't restore from that until I can get CWM installed. I'm not sure what's steps to take.
Thanks in advance.
Trevor

Recovery PDA. Why use it?
- You flashed to stock rom without wiping data/cache/dalvik
- Can't get into recovery
- Repair soft-bricks
- Messed Partitions
Recovery PDA. How to use it?
- Flash RescuePDA.tar.md5 with Odin 1.85+
- When rebooting phone start into CWM6 *
- Wipe Cache/Data/Dalvik
- Reboot into Download Mode
- Flash Stock ROM
- VoilĂ , Enjoy Rescued phone
* CWM ask you to install an untrusted zip, doesn't matter if you select yes or no
Download: RescuePDA (Androidfilehost)
Download: RescuePDA (MEGA)
that is my problem yesterday
but solve

Thank you, it works!
Note: I don't know is that specific just for me, but the phone didn't autostart in CWM after reboot (if that should be happen). It stops on Galaxy Mini 2 logo and doesn't go into CWM. Then I tried recovery key combination (VOLUP+VOLDOWN+HOME) immediately after rebooting and that worked for me. Everything else was as described.

This is not cwm, anyway if you flash cwm, yes you lose warranty but while its rooted you can use triangle away app and after that flash stock rom and you have warranty again

Today i flashed this rom cm9 rom, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2202251 ..installed fine on cwm but when it booted it shows encryption unsuccessful error.although there is a reset phone in the bottom of the paragraph it didn't help,it still shows the same error, now i can't do anything. Is flashing stock rom from odin will solve the problem? any help is greatly appreciated.
Weird..
Reflash with CWM if you can. Otherwise Odin flash will get your phone back

hey thanks for the reply mate. i fixed the problem by flashing stock froyo from odin. will try to flash JB rom later.
First, my GT-N7000 would be stuck on 'Turning On' wifi, then i factory reset it and it resulted in a bootloop. As of now i cannot access CWM. HALP PLS :crying:

If you simply can't get to recovery you probably should try flashing a stock JB ROM via PC Odin. Go to @dr.ketan's stock ROM sticky thread and be sure to follow the instructions very carefully. Are you sure you can't get into recovery?
If that succwssfuly flashes then you can root+cwm using philz after that and then install any custom ROM you want.
