Panoramic Camera question - One (M7) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi, i would like to know if it is possible to shoot horizontal panoramas using the phone in portrait mode. I could not find any setting to switch this.
I think using the camera in landscape mode for horizontal panoramas is a waste of vertical resolution....

there is no option for vertical panoramic shots unfortunately

Nokia camera

Hi Everyone,
These days phones with bokeh or portrait mode doesn't zoom in the picture but when we enable Nokia camera in bokeh mode, it zooms in as compared to regular mode. Anyway to disable the zoom in bokeh mode in Nokia camera?

I think it's just how the live bokeh works. The phone uses the telephoto lens as the main camera capturing images, and the normal lens as secondary camera capturing depth. Correct me if I'm wrong

Mi 9 stock camera app question

I have 16:9 mode enabled, but viewfinder (i.e. the screen) has this big semitransparent black area on the right that makes it difficult to visualize what's in the picture. The shutter and some options are on this big black stripe. But it is really getting in the way.
In 4:3 mode the stripe becomes solid and everything is ok, but in 16:9 part of the photo is actually behind that stripe which really makes it hard to take good pics.
Any solution or workaround? Do most people take 16:9 pictures these days?
I try take 16:9 it's look zoom in on camera app but after take photo it's look normal

Portrait Mode issues?

Like we already know, Portrait Mode there are an option on the Bokeh, but why Never Success on me?

Any update about this issues?
My experience is that portrait mode works when it can find a face looking at the camera. The software seems to get confused on the subject when that isn't present. Your two examples are profiles, which I suspect is the problem.
For these shots, use aperture mode.
That I mean the effect, why doesn't work?

What effect do you mean? Portrait mode is meant to be used with a proper distance from the subject and its background for isolation
I'm not following what you mean either. Aperture mode does the same effect with subject isolation but when a face is not present. Portrait mode is looking for a face because it does a beauty effect as well as background blur. Aperture mode is the same effect. Try it at a low number and you'll see.
I think he means the bokeh "lights" effect. You need little lights behind the subject to create that effect. The different bokeh effects on portrait mode just change what shape the lights will be.

Portrait mode lens default camera app

Does anyone know how to use the normal lens while taking a portrait shot in K20pro?It always switches to the telephoto, which is sometimes annoying.

Question Possible higher resolution in portrait mode?

Hi guys,
Is there any way to improve the portrait mode quality?
It feels like a 5mp camera in portrait mode, the main sensor is amazing, but what is going on with the portrait mode?
On portrait mode change the camera on 2x zoom. Im also not satisfied with the quality. Thatswhy im using on the the whole body portrait option. So i can make a better quality Photos.
Thank you
I will try that
I'm suspecting the new upgrade messed it up a bit.
