[Q] Bluetooth issue when switching apps - One (M7) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I am having an issue with bluetooth when I switch from one app using bluetooth to another. Basically, when I am either listening to music or podcasts and then take a call the bluetooth drops out for about 2-3 seconds and the phone goes into speaker mode. This doesn't necessarily happen when going from the music or podcast app to the phone call, but after the phone call, the bluetooth drops out and I can hear the music or podcast playing on the phone's speaker for about 2-3 seconds before my headphones pick up the signal again.
I don't believe it is the headphones since I have used them extensively with 2 other smart phones with no issues.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks,
TheStig405

something odd going on with Kaiser

Something odd was going on with my Kaiser today. I always use my headset for calls and today when I made calls it automatically turned into speaker mode and I couldn't talk through the mic on the headset, but I can still listen. The speaker was on all the time and I didn't even turn it on. After I restarted the phone it was fine.
Has this ever happened to anyone? and what is the reason for that?
I get the same but only on the initial pairing of the device.
Unlike you however, I actually WANT to know how to activate this "feature"
For instance, I have tomtom on it, it would be great to have the voice coming through my car speakers via bluetooth
It's done it once accidently but never could replicate it again
well.. I was listening to music on my phone and the sound was still going through the headset, but I had no idea the speaker was also playing the music.. everyone was staring at me on the train and now I know why..

[Q] blue tooth automatically activates media player

Greetings!
I have the Rocketfish RF-MAB2 Bluetooth Stereo Headset from Best Buy.
When I turn the headset on and make a phone call, then hang up, the music player or Rhapsody will start.
Also, when listening to the Audible.com App, if I use the headset to pause playback, the music app or Rhapsody will start.
Very annoying!
Anyone have the same issue or know how to solve this?
At one time I thought I saw a setting for Apps automatically starting when bluetooth is connected, can not find it now.
Also, did anyone find out how to adjust volume during a call without pulling the phone away from your face?
Thanks!
Look for headset blocker in the market.

Bluetooth music streaming problems

Hello, I have a foxl bluetooth speaker and when connected through bluetooth, music plays fine for almost exactly 5 minutes. Then, the sound cuts off. On the phone, it still shows that the song is playing and that the bluetooth connection is live, but there is no sound. Sometimes changing the track brings the sound back but not often. I have also turned off power saving features and turn off teh WiFi and it still does the same thing. Please any help!? I have a nice speaker, but cant use it.

[Q] Waking Note 4 Makes Bluetooth play out of phone's speaker?

I can't be the only one experiencing this. So here's the issue, I connect my phone to any Bluetooth speaker and it plays fine. After some time of course the screen locks. I go to wake my phone and it stops playing on the speakers and instead starts playing on the phone instead. Meanwhile, radio in the car still shows it's connected. Even pushing next on the player moves to the next track. JBL Flip, wake up phone audio stops on speaker continues on phone. Motorola Bluetooth headset, same thing, wake up phone audio comes out of phone.
Why in the world would it do that?! Didn't do that with the Note 3.

Audio playback skips when waking screen, using wired headphones

Hi!
I've been using a bluetooth headset and speakers since I got my XPX, but I recently started using a wired headset at work because the battery in the bluetooth one didn't last all day. I've noticed that whenever I wake the screen, either by double-tapping or using the power button, the playback skips forward by one or two seconds. This happens no matter what audio player I use (I've checked Spotify, Poweramp and Pocket Casts) and only when using a wired headset. Bluetooth and phone speakers are unaffected.
I haven't had the chance to try other headsets with this phone, but this headset didn't cause this to happen on my old phone (Z3C). Since it only happens when I wake the screen, I kind of doubt it's the headset anyway.
Does anyone know what could be causing this and how to fix it?
Sorry to bump my old thread, but I 'd forgot I posted it earlier. I noticed the problem again today and was about to post about the problem again.
Does anyone know of a solution to this problem?
