Hi guys,
can you share your experience with original battery charging?
My exerience is 0,6% per 1 minute so theoretically from 10% to 100% it takes 2h 30mins.
Honestly, I consider it too long for a 1500 mAh battery :-/
Thanks in advance for your feedback!
Mine lasts 20 hours of moderate usage.
Wifi always on, 2 hours of 3D games, 4 hours of Youtube videos, 1 hour of talk time. 6 hours of internet browsing. And rest is sleep

He was asking how long does a battery charge not how long does it last..
Mine charges from 0-100 in an around an hour... try it couple of more times, try different outlets (maybe it's power related), different charger maybe, and if it still persists take it back to service let them test the battery

Are you sure of reported 1h?
Btw, checking Galaxy S3 charging thread, you can find expressive differences!?
If it's really true, it would be interesting to check what stays in behind.

Yep, I've got it for a week, and it always charged in an hour give or take... Maybe I have the problem with the battery, cause I've experienced faster draining then you guys... I'll take it to the center to check the battery

Original charger gives 0.7A, so a battery of 1500 mAh is a little bit over two hours charge.
Yep, 2 - 2.5 hours.
I charge mine over night, but connected to a timer that turns off after 2.5 hours.
Took the phone to the center, it was some kind of hardware error, I got a new one with NFC (the old one wasn't NFC version)
Hi MalekoUK would like the name of that timer you mention, i could do with some app like that

How much time i need to charge the xperia z for the first time ?
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda app-developers app
So far, I charged mine or about 45 mins before turning it on using the wall charger, then let that drain to nothing, then did a USB charge which took a while (around 5 hours before the fully charged light came on) and now the battery seems pretty good and is getting better. Apparently it has a big impact on how you charge it, fast vs slow, for the first few times, so do some reading around if you havent already : )

Guys .. my Note is not powering up.
Did not install any ROM in the last 15 - 20 days... so surely not a brick.
Last running OS - CM 10 Nightlies .. If am not wrong a version in the first week of June ...
Did not update it after that..
Yesterday I was playing Ingress whole day while connecting my Not to a laptop using USB cable so as to keep it charged..
The battery percentage did go as low as 1% during the game but mobile was still on.
I did keep it for chargin a full night yesterday... Today morning was a surprise as the phone just does not switch on.
Some times is powers on and powers off in under 20 sex Even while it is connected to a power supply.
Tried to see if I can go into Download or Recover mode ... does not work that way too
Please help me out.. Tell me any way to revive my phone ...
At this point am unsure if it is the battery causing problems or the phone ...
The phone doesn't enter recovery as you have a critically low battery, try that battery in another phone & try another battery in your phone. Your phone is recognised on the laptop right?
No other phone where this battery can fit.
BTW... I tried my old battery in the phone.. Then the new battery in again and it started charging..
Thanks guys

This is why you should always get a charger for the battery, out of the phone.

Hi everybody.. i'm encountering this problem with my HTC one. When I reach the 20 %-9 % range of the battery the one shut down. Try to reboot and shut down again on lock screen.then I'm forceed to put it on charge. Why this strange behavior ? Battery is broken or not calibrated?or a bug? Please help !!
Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk 4 Beta
If i remember their is a battery calibration file somewhere in the system, if it is deleted it causes the phone to re-calibrate the battery gauge, have you tried a battery re-calibration app from the app store, i think this is what they do.

All stock!
Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk 4 Beta
If it`s all stock and you dont want to root, all you can do is full charge and then run it till it shuts down a couple of times and hope the battery gauge learns the true battery capacity, if this does not work.
Or you could try charging it to 100% and keep it plugged in, then do a restore to factory defaults while plugged in, then see if that fixes it.
If this does not work, you might have a faulty battery, get a replacement phone.

Found this fix online, see if it works.
Option 2: (No Root) Physical Battery Calibration This option is also very simple, but at the same time, a little more time consuming. If you have a rooted device, Option 1 is definitely the way to go. However, if you don’t know what “root” means, stick with Option 2 and go check out the root section of Android Authority.
Turn your phone on and charge it for 8 hours or more.
Unplug the charger.
Turn your phone off and charge it for one hour.
Unplug the charger.
Turn on the phone and wait 2 minutes.
Turn your phone off and charge it for one hour.
Unplug, turn it on and use as normal. Your battery life should now be a lot better.

I had buggy touch bug but it was loooooong time ago. It was loking like that :
When have opened app drawer or any app it started running and i always end at homescreen when i was trying to do something on my phone while battery was charging.
But i cant remember how and when this problem was gone but i can said this :
One day touch was buggy and in second it was OK (not buggy)
If this problem will exist very long go to service. May your microusb port is touching LCD. And when you connect charger LCD feels power as a touch and starts bugging.

It exists in battery. I charged with a non-original charger (or it was a blackberry charger lol i don't remember exactly) and battery damaged. Then I switched another original battery and never used non-original charger, now it's okay. Changing voltages probably won't help, I recommend you to take a samsung charger and samsung 1500mAh battery then you can play with voltages too.
Thanks all at first.
But guys. A new batery here is R$130 ($60). I have already bought one new 2 months ago.
Cant a just make my batery get used to the original charger voltage?
Sent from my GT-I9070 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
If you buy it only for 2 months ago, then you still have warranty and must return to seller for change it.
Correct?
Powered by CM10.2
Indeed. So i tell them that my phone batery has got addicted to another voltage then the original samsung charger?
I will do that. But for those that doesnt have warranty and are running out of money, is tjere something they can do?
