for me, returns the error "app not installed", running jellybeer with werewolf kernel.

Stock V20a only photosphere not working.
Sent from my LG-P880 using xda app-developers app

ok, fixed it by renaming gallery2.apk in system/app. everything works, even photosphere, has the same bug as aosp camera, with touch focus & led.

So i need to root the phone if i want to have photosphere?

well, you could have photosphere long ago, the one from nexus4, but yeah you needed root. this one doesn't need root, but if it doesn't work on stock, then you probably do ;p

thanks bro, how do you remove the default camera software because it wont allow me to get rid of it, plus the file i downloaded from you wont install over the default file! My camera is weird though, the rear camera doesnt show anything, but when i change camera to the front camera, it actually projects the image! Do you think, maybe the camera is laters? Thanks alot!

camera.apk from JVR on CyanogenMod 7

Hello,
It it possible to install the original camera.apk from JVR to CyanogenMod 7?
I don't find any camera app which is comparable with the app of Samsung.
Sadly not, but the miui camera isn't too bad for video and zoom fx usa good for stills

Thank you for the answer,
where I can get the right and latest miuicamera.apk, I tested a lot of them by putting the miuicamera.apk into system/app. But it doesn't work, I can't see it in the Appdrawer.
that´s exactly the problem I have. putting the miui camera.apk to /system/app did not work.

Photosphere will absolutely not work on the Galaxy S models because they lacks a gyroscope. You'll have to buy a new phone if you want that feature. You can change the phone model in your build.prop, it'll run but it will not work correctly.

Thanks for this port, is it also possible to port the v20a video player?
the stock cm and the stock lg have the same quality (focus, sharpness ...), tested both and saw no difference like the same app with different skins.
So i only need to flash the zip via cwm recovery? (REcovery->install zip from sdcard->choose zip from sdcard->and choose the camera zip)?
or do i need to apply this uodate function or what?
or how exactly i install this?
Ty for help I'm kind of new :3
Btw i got the pacman rom. but this should work together..?

Yes, and the stock gallery app. The stock gallery app, at least the one from V20a can play gifs and is more functional than the one from Cyanogenmod.
Thank you iodak. I really liked the stock camera app.

thx, worked perfect and the app is nice and i like having no sounds, but if i want them i can just turn them back on?
Stock app has 4 shutter sounds to choose from settings. If you want sound to be back an CM app just reflash CM.
Sent from my LG-P880 using xda app-developers app
No need to reflash cm. Your zip doesn't replace the cm camera app, it just adds the new one (what is great imo).
SRY... my mistake... for the sound, you need to reflash... but who really misses the shuttersound?
I think V20C camera app has an option for no shutter sound as it's not illegal outside Europe.
What funktions are more in stock camera?

No, you retain the old cam.
Thanks man! I was missing the "HDR" mode, this is faster that CM.
BTW "time lapse" doesn't work, I don't use it anyway, I just changed the button to flash control.
And again Thank you very much man!

Reodex any custom Rom (Speed-improvement)

Hey guys
I was interested in reodexing for example cm 10.1 for our device, so i searched and found the "odex me" app from Modaco forum. Its developed for galaxy s2 but on my optimus 2x i used it already and it was included in some Roms. I installed it on my optimus 4x right now, running cm10.1 and it worked perfect, and i think there is a performence improvement But i dont know if there come some issues. I will test my odexed Rom now for a while and will report later.
here you find the apk:
http://www.modaco.com/topic/344911-...kitchen/page__st__80__p__1781828#entry1781828
Install it like a normal app
start it
you must give root permissions
the app will do the rest
to be proof look at system/app and you will find odex files
I never got a bootloop it worked good.
Try it yourself and report back, maybe its a perfect way to keep cm 10 fast with many roms installed
(sorry for my english)
THIS APP ISNT DEVELOPED BY ME, I ONLY SHARE IT WITH YOU
Have anyone tested? And worked it?
