SMS Sent Time - One (M7) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have an unrooted/stock HTC One and was wondering if it is possible to display the time a SMS text was "sent" rather than "received." If I turn my phone on and get a new text, I'd like to know the time the text was originally sent.
Thanks

Try Ghostly Sms from the play store

Scaps kaiser rom: Text message time is wrong

Anyone installed the new WM6.1 with the group text messaging? The application seems to be stuck to a different time zone as my incoming messages are always time stamped 4 hours back. The outgoing is fine.
I installed a 3rd party txt messaging application and the time was right with that. When i uninsatlled the app, txt msg time stamps were wrong
both my cousin and I have the same rom and experience the same issue. I could not find anything in the search either unfortunately

Maybe it could have something to do with the ROM? Have you posted your concern in the ROM release thread?

SMS to MMS autoconverting - how to stop?

Hi, all
I like to send long SMS to my girl (love poems
As far as my message exceed length of three SMS it autoconverted to MMS, but I don't need this. So I have to cut/paste poems manually, tis takes long time. Could you help to stop autoconverting?
Send them one sms at a time so they don't convert?
Handcent SMS on the market has an option to automatically split texts for you. It's way better than the stock messaging app, and it's free.

Problem with messaging

Hi all
I got a Touch Viva recently and been enjoying it a lot. I had noticed a problem with the messaging app. Actually there are a total of 4 SMS messages for me. If i go through the SMS inbox via the start menu, it is showing only 1 message. But where as the touch flo interface is showing all the 4 messages. I suspect the windows app is showing only the messages stored in the phone but not in the SIM. My question here is , can this behaviour be corrected to display all the messages?
And also is there any way that the phone shows a different message icons for the sms stored in the SIM and the in the phone? Like a small sim image over the envelope icon.....
can anybody please answer my questions?
Thank you.
Has threaded sms view enabled??
Do you have the threaded sms enabled?
If so, if you received the all 4 sms from same person it will show as a thread.. open the thread it will show full conversations..
yea buddy if the msgs from the same person they all show in one conversation ... i like it this way better than million msgs hehe
Is windows able to handle msgs in the SIM? if not, thats probably it, touchFLO shows all the msgs while Windows only shows msgs in the device

SMS Messages

Hello, I get a lot of work related SMS Messages and missing them means I potentially miss money. I used to use an app to change the SMS tone based upon the sender, but now that I have switched carriers from Sprint to Straight Talk/ATT the SMS Messages seem to come from a random number that is incremented by one each message that comes in. The text of the message usually starts the same with From: Sender and I want have a different alert tone based upon the sender or text within the message. Is there an easy way to do this? Also is there any alternative SMS app that I can have group these messages together as a conversation based upon the sender? Basically, I want the functionality I had under ICS on the Epic 4g Touch on my Note. Thanks in advance for all your comments and suggestions.
