2)yes, that's easy enough, just head over "Xperia T Android Development" section, and then go to the thread by DoomLord, there is a rootkit which will help you

So method of DoomLord didnt worked for me however i used Bin4ry method and its working perfectly. Wish you good luck

I tryed to root my phone..
In rootcheckbasic it shows tat my phone is rooted
..but i am not geting superuser premision

Yes. Since the ftf remove the old /system and /data. You'll lose it.

Go into root explorer / system/ app / blurupdater.apk and freeze, or delete it.
I THINK that would do it.

Linux method work's fine! I promise, you just got to follow instructions very,very close, step by step letter by letter. like setting up share.its GROUP.. not group. and ip address will work 10.0.x.x.x.

I just tried going back to stock via flashing sbf and root using motochopper. It works 100% and all I did is just pressing one click button.
It's even easier than rooting on ICS.
Hi guys, played with some custom Roms for a while and I'm settled back with stock firmware now,
Could someone please point me in the right direction to re-locking my bootloader please.

It wasn't originally, a mod moved it to the correct section. It was originally in the general section. But when you ask a QUESTION and you want an ANSWER this is the correct section for it

You didn't loser bravia engine, but you did lose your drm keys, and this can be spotted real easy.
They just need to hookup your device with Emma and it will say if you still have drm keys, and thus unlocked the bootloader sometime in the past.
Drm keys are not recoverable.
Luckily here in the Netherlands they aren't that strict in bootloader unlock xD

Really !? I live in the Netherlands, The Hague, i bought my xperia T via marktplaats (you know what it is) The dude had it from T-mobile(saw the rom) And i unlocked bootloader and got CM10.1 on it, so where do i send it so they wont rage about it ?
I just locked it first and send it to T-Mobile itself since I have a contract with them.
After a month i got a new phone xD
But my case was a non working touchscreen (which I learned later was probably recoverable in another way)
But I don't know if your case will result in the same result ofcourse.

If you flash a ftf you lose root, recovery, everything. It's like factory resetting.

Ok, but do you want root etc. If so just flash a pre rooted 4.3 rom
If you want a non rooted 4.3 rom with no recovery then flash a 4.3 ftf

However he may have removed the files from his server.
If so, just follow his guide to make your own, it will be a good project for you to learn more
