There's talk about which is better, the Sense camera app versus the Google camera. Are people just comparing them because they're "stock" versus the 3rd party camera apps out there, like Camera360? Are the new camera apps better than the 3rd party apps you can currently buy?
The best app for the camera for the One is the Stock HTC Camera with Zoe function

Has anybody attempted to record live broadcast on this device either using Spirit UL or other 3rd party dedicated method (like stereomix)?
Sony Xperia models can use Recforge app, Samsung have it naturally integrated. I never had HTC before so I can't really compare with other models. Am interested in this phone but can't buy before completely being sure it can record live OTA FM in high enough quality and most important in Stereo!
Would appreciate your help kindly.
their is not first party app on htc for recording fm but i dont know about third party ones.
Is the camera that is frequently referred to as being broken by unlocking the bootloader specifically the cybershot app with it's overdone sharpening postprocessing ??
Or will there also be differences in the shots captured by 3rd party camera apps like "Camera ZOOM fx" which take much nicer pictures without forced postprocessing?
Good question. Maybe someone who has unlocked their bootloader can try a third party camera and see if it's any better.
Are there any third party camera apps currently available which can make use of both cameras ? All the apps I have tried only support the main camera . I don't seem to be able to access the telephoto .
Thanks in advance !
I want to take photo with third party app like camera FV-5 or others, but with this v40 I can only choose between face camera (one of them), ultra wide and standard. How can I unlock the x2 camera for third party apps ?
If it can help, my device is rooted.
The app itself has to be able to recognize multiple camera potential within its own code.

The LG camera App can use the 3 back camera it the third party see only 2 (the ultra wide and the standard wide).
Hi, I know there is already a similar thread,
but I wanted to know, if someone has actually run all three rear lenses in 3rd party camera app?
I know there are some ways to enable it (like this https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/guide-enable-aux-camera-for-third-party-camera-apps.3846325/), but I suppose it would differ from phone to phone.
I don't own the X3 Pro yet, but I think I might soon
Thanks, Filip
I'm using the Greatness GCam mod. You can enable there the buttons for different lenses.
Be aware to use the alternative fix as otherwise the app crashes.
I didn't figure out how to set the 'stream configs' for the lenses
