[Q] Install stock radio.img without PC? - One (M7) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Now, this might be a stupid question, but I can't seem to find any easy explanation as to how to do it -
I flashed the newest available radio a while back, but that caused me to loose my 4G/LTE connection.
I made a topic asking for stock telenor (norway) radio, and an other user sent me his stock backup, in the form of a .img file.
I'm not anywhere near a computer that I can use to go into ADB and push the file, so I was wondering if there was an easy way for me to put my .img file into an already existing .zip radio-update, and get my good old, working radio back, using CWMR to flash it?
Thanks in advance,
Sent from my HTC One using xda premium

So you just want to flash the stock radio ?
If you have an internet connection you can download the radio zip and flash through recovery

I tried, but it didn't solve my problem. I need to install this particular radio.img that I have, but I have to do it on my phone, without having to use a computer. How?

Download the newest Radio here: http://d-h.st/Idf
put the PG32IMG.zip on the root of your sd card then reboot into HBOOT.
HBOOT will detect the file and install it for you its that simple!

This no safer or worse than the bootloader method, it's just the bootloader does it for you rather than manually typing the command.
While appreciate people need help, there are a lot of these threads popping up in the dev section explaining very specific problems. There is a Q&A forum for a reason, please keep topics in this forum related to dev only.

Not really. Sometimes when you want to flash PG32IMG, it does'nt work. And the cause for that is the cid. If you're cid is not in the android-info.txt, bootloader won't recognize the zip. To check cid, use this command 'fastboot getvar all' and see your cid number.

I don't understand why you use this method.. There is a much more faster method there you just put the radio zip in the root of the memory card and boot into bootoader (it will auto. loade som files) then it will ask you if you want to update the Radio and you accept that by pressing volyme up, then just w8 for it will finnished,

Radio_20.72.30.0833U_3831.17.00.24_M is the latest, and you can test for yourself. If you don't like the new one you can flash the old again.

[Q] Please help, Butterflys S stuck on black screen after reboot

Hi guys,
I have some issues here.
I planned on rooting my Butterfly S but after unlocking the bootloader and installing a recovery, I formatted by SD card and remounted it. Unfortunately my rom backup didnt work for some reason.
When the phone booted again, I had the HTC welcome screen with the little music and then a black screen with only on top right the network symbol and that's it. I could at first use the bottom button but not connect to the internet.
Now, it's just black.
I restored the stock rom given in this forum, but same result. I then copied the original SDcard directory but nothing has changed. It's black and keep on rebooting.
Any idea of what I could do? The phone is not rooted.
THanks a lot! It makes me anxious!!

Hello,
I'm making progress. The NOS Rom had made me do progress.
I can connect to the internet, it's stable when i'm not in developer mode.
I can't restore any ab file though... And I have lost my IMEI.
So my phone is not a phone anymore. Can someone help me restore my IMEI? I know it's quite easy on Samsung, but on HTC??
And also, is there a RUU available? How much time does it take usually?

I didn't have problems with IMEI after wiping internal SD card, however it's possible that IMEI is lost. Please read this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=36079357&postcount=1
Step "choose and download RUU for your mobile" I'd suggest to download source code from htcdev.com

I think you might have flashed a wrong recovery (for M7WLS)
try this recovery: http://techerrata.com/file/twrp2/m7/openrecovery-twrp-2.6.3.3-m7.img
better to md5 check both your rom and recovery before you flash them.
Make sure the rom is for M7_UL variant.

Your frimware must be correct recovery etc, if you dont know what version firmware or recovery you need, open topic with rom and there must be instalation tip.

TWRP recovery 2.7.0.1 is probably the M7WLS version not for your phone!
I don't know any 2.7.0.1 version for the M7_UL
So flashing a stable twrp version for your variant is the best move atm (2.6.3.3 or 2.6.3.4)
then try to flash your rom again
clear cache and hopefully it will boot
I know your not being rude mate just i had this phone for 4 days and 3 of them.days I've been stuck with it just need get it working again I've said my problem.and done as people have asked me I spent first day searching for help with this prob and never found any hence why I'm asking for help coz I've got myself stuck
