If you have titanium backup or a similar app that lets you uninstall system apps and you don't use G+ you could just uninstall it.
Sent from my MB886 using xda app-developers app

Or if you want to keep it, just try greenify to make it hibernate...

Put the eb40 battery in. Problem solved.

I second using Greenify. I had major issues with my battery life and greenify more than fixes the problem. What I did was delete stock apps I use like Facebook, chrome, gmail, YouTube etc and download them through the play store since greenify can't force close system apps.

Or you could just convert those apps to user apps using Titanium Backup

Try Launcher pro plus widget for Facebook
Sent from my SCH-I500 using XDA App
I got the lasted clockwork and the latest Superclean and my stock Facebook app works like a charm. I get real time notifications (although the settings only offer every 30 min or more).
-1 for launcher pro plus widget. Its very limited. I use the official Facebook for android app for my notifications (which only work for me with the new ec01 rom) and I use seesmic if I want to copy a status or delete a post I made. I still use the lpp widget for news feed, but it takes a while to load. Just my 2 cents.
Edit- so seesmic also offers a widget that seems to update lather quickly and displays all feeds.

There's an ad supported version and a paid version. I personally bought the paid version simply because this is, by far, the best Facebook app I've ever used. The developer is constantly updating and it gets better everyday. I love the gmail notification option instead of the periodic polling one. The UI is sharp and the performance is very smooth. Barely any lag at all, although sometimes that depends on your data connection. All in all, I highly recommend this app.

At least you can get a good picture of you dog. Every time I've ever tried to get a picture of my girls they either get excited and won't sit still long enough to take the shot or they do sit still but the lighting sucks and the pic comes out like crap.

AdAway. It's so good Google doesn't allow it on Play. DL/install the apk.
I prefer adfree, very good! I use it and have never been disappointed with this awesome app, sadly it's not in the play store but luckily it's free to download at: http://adfree.bigtincan.com/
I've been using adfree for quite some time but now moved to crossbreed instead.

Thanks for the info, but it seems like there is no solution for this problem on a non rooted phone. It only has happened sometimes and today I only have 94 wakelocks from the same service.

Agreed it's Fast Dormancy - I used Xposed + "Per App Hacking" to remove the ability for this app (com.sonyericsson.android.wakeup) to request wakelocks and that got rid of these.
You probably was on Wi-Fi today
If you only had 94 wake ups, only happens on mobile data
