Hi,
after flashing from TeamRocket ICS 1.3b (which worked very well for me) to MIUI 4 Note v8 to get Livewings Edition ( I used cwm for that, but did all wipes properly) I stuck at the Logo mentioned in the threadtitle.
The problem is now: I cant get out of this.
cwm works fine, but I cant start any Rom. Tried to flash several ones, but I still keep stucking...
Has someone an idea ?

Try downloading abyss kernel 3.9 and flash it in recovery and stay in recovery and reboot recovery. Then flash any rom after wiping all the cache and dalvik and data before final rebooting the system (after flashing the rom)
This should work !!
Is it possible to flash a stock rom with odin to get back to out of the box ?

Use the above method i mentioned. It should work.
If nothing works then flash any rootable rom via PC Odin and you will be back to stock and then can root again and flash any other rom of your choice! Check out Dr Ketan's guide in the stickies post in development section of note forum !
got also the same predicament, just stuck in Samsung Galaxy N7000 bootup logo screen after I went to the recovery mode to format/system, format/cache..
I tried to follow the instructions actually on how to upgrade my CheckRom RevoHd v5 to Version 6...
The instructions were to format /system and format /cache... then copy the ROM to a new folder in the internal SD card...
Now the question is.. how can I copy the CheckRom RevoHD version 6.zip if I can't even boot back in recovery mode..
when I booted back.. it just stucks on that bootup logo screen.. ..
Bro how much time did you wait ? I was having the same problem! At least thats what i used to think... But turns out that the first boot takes REALLY long... took me approx 25 mins with rocketrom v22

to boot in recovery press and hold volume up home button and power button all at same time in any screen and keep pressing till the time the samsung logo again shows up. Then leave the buttons...it should now boot in recovery.

I already did that sir but It would really not open up recovery mode. I can however go to Download mode(with the Volume down) but what good is that anyway, right?
anyway, I have already fix my issue by reflashing it back via PC Odin...
I guess its either the instructions of flashing to the new version of CheckRom RevoHd v.6 is pretty much vague (though I really followed it to a tee) or simply the instructions are not that just well emphasized...
can you direct me to the rom you flashed via odin?
I tried flashing stock rom but i'm still in bootloop

edit solved: forgot to flash csc aswell

what you need now to download a GB custom kernel then flash it with the current cwm: then do the following to get it right and rooted ics
1-right after flash the GB kernel go to advance and then reboot recovery.
2-boot into the new recovery flash any custom rom like darkynote.
3-bootup get mobile odin and get the chainfire repack ics LP1.
4-start mobile odin flash the chainfire repack and make sure all the boxes are ticked and wipe data also ticked.
5-after the flash is done it will reboot auto in to cwm flash the miui and all is done.
this log steps I'm telling you to follow so you won't encounter the banry count and yellow triangle.
enjoy
Hi all. I also have the same problem. Initially I'm using LiquidSmooth rom. And then I went to Criskelo rom to try the rom...and didn't like it. And I tried to restore to LiquidSmooth and failed. Now I'm stuck in bootloader and when I try to flash anything on CWM, it hangs. Even if I leave it for awhile on the menu, it'll hang too. What should I do?
Stuck on Samsung Startup Screen
I tried various Stock Roms, but unable to go ahead of Samsung bootcreen. I can get into recovery menu & also download screen, so I assume my Note is not bricked. However I tried to flash old directly rootable GB ROM, ICS ROM, Latest GB ROM(Wipe) but nothing works. While flashing latest GB ROM "N7000XXLC1 (Wipe)" ODIN was stuck in data.fs, so flash was incomplete, In other ROMS flash was complete but I was stuck on Startup screen. I tried flashing "Q1_20110914_16GB.pit" file also but no luck. I also flashed Abyss Note Kernel 3.9 & 4.2 in ICS ROM, but I don't know how to flash this kernel in GB ROM as I'm unable to get into external memory card where I transferred kernel zip file. Please help me save my Note.

If you have stock ROM installed now and stuck in a boot loop, enter STOCK recovery and do a factory reset, wipe cache, reboot system..
thnks, but i have done everything..wiped all things so many times, installed different roms.
thats so weird problem, even the stock Rom is not working,i have installed the same rom while upgrading from froyo to gb.
is there any another solution expect these basic things.

Do factory reset, clear cache and wait for at least 15mins. Cause when u flash, it takes time on first boot. At last resort send it for repairs.
Have this problem after flash xxkpk or xxkpi(that one package i forgot which) glow agn and agn the samsun logo..tired on it other firmware.no this prob. ....the one pakage firmware only 9 step...4file mod firmware hav 10step.
Try wipe data.cache and.reboot,(cwm)

flash a Odin package having 4 files
So when I turn the power on, it just has the "Samsung Galaxy S" logo and all that, and then it enters a boot-loop where that keeps coming up.
When I plug it into the charger, it just has an empty battery and it stays like that, even when I leave it overnight to charge, the screen still shows that empty battery.
I've tried using Heimdall to flash ezbase recovery and I've also used Odin, as well as EZOdin to flash the same recovery, both of which yield no results.
I have also tried both Odin and Heimdall to flash the stock ROM, which also makes no difference the the boot-loop situation.
When using both of those programs, they do not flash any ROMs at all when I select the "Re-partition" or anything related to partition, it just won't pass that initial step.
The only thing that I can do with the phone is enter recovery mode by pressing the Volume Down, Power and Home buttons.
If anyone could help, it would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!
Hey
Which rom did u flash when ig entered into bootloop??
Cheers

Abd dont worry its not bricked...
Sgs is nearly un-brickable as it has 2 flash modes..

The last successful ROM that I flashed was 2.3.4 i9000XXJVP.
The incident occured when I tried to overclock my precious phone. I don't remember the specific source of the files I used to overclock or anything, but yeah, it instantly boot-looped and bricked the phone.
Flash stock rom again with repartition "ticked".

That would have been the first thing I tried.
When I tick "repartition" in both programs (Heimdall and Odin), the flashing process suddenly gets stuck.
When flashing stock ROM through Odin, it gets stuck on Set Partition forever.
When flashing through Heimdall, it refuses to upload the PIT file and then it will say "Heimdall Crashed" at the bottom next to the Start Flash button.
Hey
Un-check reparation and try..
Thats the cause for bootloops...
Cheers

Try flashing a new Kernel. Most of my boot loop problems have been Kernel related and flashing a new one using Odin almost always solved the problem.

If I uncheck repartition, nothing happens after I flash and the phone still stays in boot-loop.

I've tried flashing many new kernels from many different ROMS including CyanogenMod, Modaco and also ezrecovery mod. The only ROM that I managed to flash and have a noticable difference would be DarkyRom but the phone is still stuck in boot loop.

Using CWM, make sure to wipe data/factory reset, then wipe cache, and then go into advanced, and wipe the Dalvik cache too and flash custom rom twice
Remove / insert battery and go to recovery to flash it again , for any custom rom, if still goes into bootloop get a .tar kernel and flash using Odin

Yeah that's the thing though, I don't have CWM installed, at least I don't think so. I can't seem to access it. It just keeps boot looping.

I have attempted both of your suggestions, both of which have had no impact on the current situation.
I still cannot access ClockWorkMod and flashing other ROMs do not make any difference.

Have you tried flashing Stock Rom with Pit and Bootloader ? Download a JVT Rom and try, cause there is NO reason why you cannot flash a ROM after that you can flash a semaphore kernel to get CWM

Everything I have tried to flash has not made any difference to the phone's functioning status.

the thing is that my Samsung S wont starts ,when i click the power button its starts in CWM RECOVERY and when i press "reboot system now" it enters a boot loop (the logo keeps running over and over and the phone)
before this happened i originally had the stock ROM of my cellular carrier (2.3.3
then i decided to install another rom and kernel (cyanogenmod 10) so i installed first a clean stock rom (2.3.6) via odin
and then the cyanogenmod rom and kernel (up to now its all fine)
after that i wanted to change and install other rom so i installed again the clean stock rom 2.3.6 via odin...and from then it started to boot loop.
i thought that if i will install the kernel again it will be OK ,but it wont..
and now im in the situation that i have described above..
help SOMEONE please=]

it is because the latest CM10 is based on a different partitioning layout than the stock one.. after flashing CM10 once when you go in a boot loop.. go to CWM recovery by using the three button combo and flash CM10 again.. . this time your rom will boot:good:

I installed the kernel and then the stock rom again but now its just bootlooping without getting load up to CWM recovery
so how can i get into CWM recovery????
(i tried VolumeUP+HOME+POWER but it just get into regular recovery...)
pull out your battery for a couple of minutes then replace battery
;hold three button forever or until it goes into recovery if that doesnt work
reflash through odin and do it again or check out darkyrom 10. re this gets flashed through odin
