I've looked through just about every forum and have tried google search. I've downloaded HTC Flashlight apk, but it will not turn on the Nexus LED. Do anyone have a hacked HTC Flashlight apk that will work on the stock unrooted FRG83D rom? If this has been answered before then sorry for the posting.

That will only work with Sense roms. Search the market for "Flashlight No Root" by mobbeel.
Thanks for the response. I'd honestly rather the HTC apk.

Well it won't work. The app relies on a kernel call that only works with certain kernels. The HTC app only works with Sense ROMs. If you have a stock ROM then you need an app that works with it.
Sorry.

I use "LED flashlight"
I'm not sure how many people really care but when upgrading to ICS, you may note that the Mirror application is no longer there...or so it seems. If you'd like to get that Mirror application back for the Narcissus in us, just flash this right after flashing the ROM. It's been tested on the WCX Generic build.
I posted this over at WCX also.
Couldn't you just open up your camera app and use the front facing camera?
But thanks for uploading it for people that actually do use or want it.

True, you could.
Also if you are using nova launcher the mirror app is in your app drawer.

Or you could push the search button and type mirror and it will show up

I was able to create a shortcut for it with Launch-X. Not sure why it's hidden, but it is still in ICS.
Talk android was able to get the camera apks for the Google edition HTC one and gs4. Also has photosphere! http://www.talkandroid.com/166608-s...y-s-4-and-htc-one-google-play-editions-leaks/

Seen this earlier so you beat me to it lol!
Works for me too. After install I have both camera options, and 2 galleries. Just have to choose which is better. Any thoughts?

If you look in your HTC one gallery, you notice that the pics you took with the Google camera are in there. I still think the HTC camera is better but at least you have photosphere
The camera works!

Can the gallery be deleted after they both install or are they bundled together in an apk? I'll only use the Camera for PhotoSpheres

I switched back to Sense. But I read up that all aosp roms based on cm have this issue. I was using the build prop that came with. Never looked at the model listed

I always get funny colors with the front camera and I haven't even mod from the default with rootbox 06/21.
I'm trying to find any app that can make panorama as fast and easy as stock camera app.
There are tons of apps on market but no one makes it so fast and easy as stock.
Place share your experience.
Thank you.

Yes. But my wife prefer cm11 and she miss this functionality.
Anyone on outlay tried it yet? It's got a new refreshed design and fixed bugs and can be downloaded straight from the play store to any 4.4 or over device. In currently on jelly bean so I haven't tried it yet

Now that I'm on kitkat I tried it and its pretty nice. Only issue for me is I can't turn off the shutter sound even when the phone is in silent mode which is annoying for me. I hope lg starts adding it's apps to the play store and updating then from there. It'd be nice to see an improved camera app from them

I'm kind of digging on the Google camera right now. Photosphere, a working HDR, and the face blur thing is pretty sweet.
On the most recent carbon build and the camera is flawless so far

Wierd I just installed it. It's the nexus 7 one right? I hit the icon and it brings up my stock lg one.
edit: I'm slow. Haha I found the right one.

Can anyone tell me how to shut off shutter sound? I saw stuff about deleting a line in system files but this is installed as a user app so I'm not sure how. Would it have to be decompiled and edited?

I'm on CM11 based on 4.4.2 by JackpotCalvin with this installed and I don't have a shutter sound...I don't even know how to turn it on.
I know I have my shutter sound turned off on the stock camera, and my sound profile set to vibrate, and my sound turned off for music/video/etc, if that helps.

You would need to be rooted. Use root browser or some other browser application that can access the system directory. go to system/media/audio/ui and rename the camera_click.ogg sound to something else.
