Hey guys,
I'm on T-Mobile (USA) and eagerly waiting for LTE version of Xperia-Z.
I was wondering if I should follow same forum or will there be a new forum for T-Mobile version of the phone.
Thanks

I guess that depends on how different it will be. If it is pretty much the same platform, but a modem with different bands activated, then there isn't really a need for a new forum, you'll just have to make sure you're using the correct baseband.

If you post in dev section and your thread has a [Q] in the title, your doing it wrong. Theres a q&a section for these types of "situations".

Sent from my SGH-T989 using XDA App
it also seems like they would be the i9100 version since it's UK.
orange: http://shop.orange.co.uk/mobile-phones/samsung-galaxy-SII
vodafone: http://shop.vodafone.co.uk/shop/mobile-phone/Samsung-galaxy-s-2
yup... both i9100 international versions. you posted in the wrong forum my friend.
Just bought the HTC One from Bell Canada and need to unlock the bootloader and flash TWP and Root. That easy and all, but for the life of me cannot figure out which HTC One I have and which forum to go to. Usually all Canadian devices are AT&T versions but I guess the Canadian version for the HTC One is just the international?

It doesn't matter. ALL GSM (except china) phones are compatible with each other.
This is the right forum.
Hopefully the moderators here on XDA will merge them all soon and we can get on with our lives

The TWRP and CWM found in the AT&T forum is a repost of the ones found here.
you can flash anything from any htc one forum except the sprint forum as they are cdma not gsm
Thanks all, rooted and TWP installed. All I need to figure out is how to get the extended power menu on stock.
There's a mod but I think it requires a deodexed rom. Not sure
yeah i think it does that why I haven't tried it yet. Want to stick with stock for now.

Only difference for you then is one is newer than the other. So use the newest (48i).
Further info: ALL Nexus 6 can use the same ROMs. The only difference is that some US carriers have specific ROMs to add functions or just so they can approve the builds themselves. So you just need to avoid the Builds that are specifically for T-Mobile or Verizon IF you want OTA to work in the future. Otherwise, you could use any.

Hello, total noob here. So recently got a p20 pro, and is loving it so far. However, I got the Chinese firmware version C00. From my understanding, there is a US T-Mobile version. I was wondering, how can I go about changing it? Does it involve flash or something like that? Any help would be great!

I put this list together to illustrate the different variants of this phone.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/huawei-p20-pro/how-to/huawei-p20-pro-variants-t3797524
The phone you have is probably the AL00. This phone is not sold in the US because of political unrest between US Congress and Huawei. There is no 'T-Mobile version', nor are there any US versions. However, I can confirm that the L29 works perfectly here in the United States even though it uses Asia Pacific branded firmware.
Are you having any problems with software on the phone? If not, just root and enjoy!
Hey. Currently I'm running AL01 I was wondering if you have a guide to switch to the international version. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Looks like nsilva.android was able to flash AL01 to L29 via this thread
https://forum.xda-developers.com/hu...-to-root-debrand-remove-retail-t3788326/page8
Check out some of his responses before that page - but it looks like its possible.
I will be attempting sometime int he next week. I'll try to get an instruction set together
Have the unlocked version from Amazon, want to convert to T-Mo firmware so US Cellular roaming works properly, along with faster updates.
Don't see the US T-Mo firmware on Sammobile. Is it available anywhere or not yet?

The unlocked software version of the device doesn't support some feature like the ok nest he listed that he wants to make sure works. So flashing it to T-Mobile software ensures all T-Mobile features will work correctly and fully.
