Root it then remove all bloatware, use Autorun manager or similar app to stop unnecessary apps starting during starup..or easiest way to instal a custom light rom

Hi,
I recently updated my phone to JVQ but now i'm having a battery drain. The cause (i think) is the high percentage of the android-system. By now its 29% and that's alot. I already deleted the programe software-updater so that can't be the trouble maker anymore. Does someone has a fix for this?
Greetings

Yeah....let your battery go completely dead, then try turning on to make sure its dead
Leave your phone off and then plug in charger until its full, then unplug and plug in again to make sure its full
Repeat these steps 2-3 times and it should be all fixed for you
Also....using titanium backup, freeze the program called "Samsung account" that's another culprit in the "battery drain crisis"

I have already done that a few times, friend of mine has completely the same setup as i have and my battery is down twice as fast. Maybe it's the battery itself?

Yes, using deodexed stock jvq rom and speedmod k15-t24. Using black background screen dimmed, and everything to make my battery life the best but it doesn't make it one day. So maybe there is a bug?

Try going back to stock froyo, and flashing cfroot kernel so your phone is rooted but not deodexed or any other mods, then repeat the cycle and see if it gets better that way.

You'll need to be on froyo for about a week or just over, just until you've repeated the cycle 2-3 times bud

Have any of you guys experienced this? This stock LG app is eating all my battery after updating to gingerbread! And I haven't used it once. Never saw this before updating to gingerbread. Guess this gives me yet another reason to root and clean up the bloat-ware.

Seems to be a common problem, I experienced it myself on one of the leaks. The service restarted, found a problem and exited, got restarted etc. ad infinitum.
Agree, just root, and take a look at this post.
If you open dialer immeditely after the phone boots up, on screen phone starts to hog battery. So let the phone sit for a while, 10 minutes or so, and this doesn't happen. Same applies for camera, at least for me. Youtube app does the same regardless of when you open it, haven't found a solution for this one yet.
I had the same issue on V20L. So I removed OSP and the problem is solved.
i have some other doubts about this app and situation in general. if you see actual usage stats, that this app is not running at all (some sec of cpu time). what i noticed, after updating to v20l battery stats are total messed up. f i launch for exaple some other app jus after chargeing...thiss first app will always have 25-30% of battery usage in the end...even if i have used and than killed it seconds.
anyway, i will go for rooting and removin all those unnessesary aps.

I had the same issue however I would question the accuracy of the battery meter. Anyway. froze the OSP app and it doesn't show in stats anymore.

I had 2 days ago the same problem with the OSP. I fully charged the phone last evening and left it to discharge with wifi on over night. It would have consumed over 8h 10% max, however GB took 25%.
The odd part: this time it wasn't OSP consuming 50% of the drain anymore, but Gallery! wtf?
maybe stupid question..but what is OSP? :/
I'm having trouble with batterylife on my o2x..it drains in 4-5 hours of very little usage.
Thinking of rooting..but can I do that with Superoneclick? when I have 2.3

its an app pre-installed with the phone.
Thank you. So if I root I can freeze that app and save some battery? What other apps would you say I should freeze to improve batterylife?

i don't think so...
and i also try with S3 charger, the problem is same
when you connect the charger, does the phone display it charging in the notification bar or lock screen?
when you say 27%, does it mean it was always at that or it reached there from some other % after 3 hrs and it's very slow charging?
If there is no notification, and you have changed the charger, then check inside the micro use port for some foreign particles. If not that too, may be you have a faulty usb port

yes, i am on Stock ROm 4.0.4, Hydracore kernel v5.3
if the kernel is also affect?
First of all I would suggest HC 4.3 std kernel. Then, go into recovery -> advance -> wipe battery stats.

Once I had similar problem - my bat. was getting stuck at 92%. I wiped the stats and everything went back to normal.
But first of all change the kernel to 4.3 Many people (including me) were complaining about the battery drainage.

Ok so I recently updated to stock 4.2.2 on my Z and now my battery is haywire. In the last hour, off charge it's reported 78, 56,21,99 and 101%.
I'm running stock firmware, unaltered bar root, which I have only SuperSU and busybox installed I haven't changed or deleted anything as yet.
I've read a few threads saying custom recovery messes with it but I haven't got one. My biggest issue is it completely not recognising the charger being plugged in sometimes.

No fix for battery bug yet!
Factory reset doesn't help, neither does flashing Rom with complete wipe. I've tried it several times. Battery bug on stock Sony 4.2.2 will show up sooner or later. Same applies to other bugs like album app lag. Hopefully Sony might fix these issues in the next update.

Sony really needs to fix this ASAP. My Xperia Z just dies out of nowhere whenever the battery level drops to a certain point, vibrating once and then rebooting itself, causing the bug to appear. I don't know what is going on with this phone.
I guess the update is coming tomorrow.

I need your help. I have problems with my N910T, it makes dias Dr Ketan install the rom rom based on 6.0.1, I did as I was in 5.1.1, turn off my Note all night and the next day had dropped about 20% load. Install another rom, with OvrDriVE and I also did the same. Now I install official 6.0.1 rom stock, I proceed to install NobleRom V3 which is very good rom and also reoccurs me the same battery drain while my note is off all night. You need to give a ROM about 3-5 days to settle before the battery is life is at its peak. I recently flashed marshmallow and it took 4 days to settle. There was a big difference on the fourth day. I think doze takes a while to work.
