Hello,
Has anyone bought their Nexus One from the Developer Store? If so, how much did you pay?
I can only find it on Pixmania/Expansys and it's around €520. I don't think it's worth that since the Desire is €419 on Vodafone and they're pretty much the same phone...

I bought mine in January or Febuary (2009) in the states for $529. I've heard that they are the same price sold as the "developer" version.

If you did buy the Dev version, did they give you an option between the AWS version and AT&T version?
Thanks people for your input. I bought a Desire in the end. I'll prob load a stock Android ROM in a few weeks (see what gingerbread offers)

The AT&T version is no longer available from Google.
The developer version is T-Mobile banded.
As the title says lads, should we be expecting the HTC One with vanilla android anytime soon in Europe?

Nothing yet but the press release does say it is US-only initially so we might get it at some point - fingers crossed!
I really want a Rog Phone 2, and I live in the USA and use AT&T... Should I buy the currently available versions online (will they even work on US AT&T?), or should I wait for the global/USA release that's suppose to come sometime in September?

Depends on what you want, need, and can afford now vs then. The belief is that the global version will have band support that the current Tencent version doesn't have. If you need that additional band support, then wait. If it's more expensive and you can afford it, then wait. But if you're impatient like me, get it now. I should have mine on Saturday. It supposedly doesn't have 71 support. And maybe more. I'll report on what I can this weekend. I'll be connecting to TMO though.
I have it on Tmobile and there are no issues with it

Where did you buy it from?
I also have it on tmobile. Bought it from an ebayer selling the tencent version in the US for $750 - a ripoff but I can afford it. I waited a couple weeks and flashed the international rom to it when it showed up on the chinese servers, and I couldn't be happier with it.

Any reason for me to stay on the tencent rom? What do I get/gain/lose if I flash to int'l rom?

The tencent version has typical chinese battery management stuff that will cause issues with notifications, and its a bit more locked down. Best to be on the worldwide rom.

$560, eBay. They've been really good about giving me updates. Might be here Friday instead of Saturday. Supposedly shipped last Saturday. USPS with tracking.

I'm a little confused and would appreciate any help provided. I've read many of the posts and am still a little unsure which LTE bands the currently available 8/128 version has. I've seem some sites that show only a few and some sites that show more. Can someone confirm which LTE bands the currently available 8/128 version has?
Also, after switching over to the WW rom, does it allow you to pick which version of the UI (near stock vs ROG) during setup?

Giztop is claiming that the 12/512 version of the tencent rog phone 2 has all the LTE bands I would need for TMobile (2, 4, 12, 66, but no 71) but I'm fairly weary.
I think I'll wait for the international model.

I've read that the Tencent version of the ROG Phone 2 doesn't support LTE band 66, but that would be pretty awesome if it does!
Additionally, everything I've read seems to suggest that the phone will work fine on AT&T/T-Mobile. I'm particularly interested in finding out if this phone will work on Verizon's network or not though. All the phones I came across on ebay have bold disclaimers stating that the phone is not compatible with Verizon. At the same time, it supports most of Verizon's 4G LTE bands (except maybe band 66) and 1900 PCS for 3G. I wonder if maybe the phone will work on Verizon but with reduced coverage? I'd rather not switch carriers but I also really want to get this phone. I'm very tempted to just buy it now and be a guinea pig for the network, but I think I'll hold out a couple more weeks until it officially launches in the US. If it doesn't work on Verizon that'd be a huge bummer, at that point I'd have to pick between switching carriers or upgrading to something else like a Note 10.

Ok, thanks! Nothing specific, just wanted to know if it arrives ok and as described from the seller you bought it from, that sort of stuff. I'm probably almost as excited for you to receive your phone as you are lol

I really appreciate it! I'm pretty stoked about it myself. Once I get it I'll try to get some pictures and do a simple unboxing and get some diagnostic information and see if it helps the community.
I've tried looking everywhere, but all I see are old articles about a month ago. I see other people already have it in the US, just wondering where they are getting it from? Is that the official US version because even on ASUS' website, it says it's not released yet.

End of September. People are buying from Ebay. They are not us versions though, with extra US bands.

Do you mean you were told by ASUS support that information, or that information is it on their support website? Because I couldn't find it on their website, and I asked Asus support but I haven't got a response

you are still not being specific, I understand from ASUS Support, but how? in a chat or private message? or the information is published on their support website somewhere? or you talk on the phone with them? do you have any proof or evidence where they told you end of september or can you link here the information?

according to Notebookcheck the north american version just cleared the FCC on Sept 22 and is approved for release.

I contacted Asus support yesterday and inquired about the release date in the US. The rep told me September 2020, so I asked if that would be next week because there were only 5 days left in September. He replied saying he was only informed that Sept. 2020 was the release date and that its possible but no guarantees. Honestly who knows at this point but it does seem like it will be very soon.

As is often the case, the broken Good Lock modules mar the upgrade. The annual Android upgrade used to be worth the wait. Now it kind of isn't. How sad.

I just got my update, and honestly I'm not liking it very much, the asthetic changes i prefered the old one, but the thing that really bothers me, is that it feels slower and stuttering, am i the only one that has that experience or is there anyone else ? For what was supposed to be the flagship of the future, samsung has been lefting us on the side with getting the update 2 months later than the s20 and then its rubbish. Let me know if anyone else is experiencing the same.
Well, supposedly.. AT&T is to release it today, so I'll see what the fuss about it.
Got the update on ATT this AM been running very smoothly. I like the changes thus far.
If ATT and VZW have it, then TMO should be released soon. Then those of us with unlocked models should have it right after that.
I love 3.0 on my Note 20 Ultra, so Def looking forward to it on the Z Fold 2.

I'm still waiting. Though the new hotness would be nice, I have it on my Note 20 and my OnePlus devices and it's nothing night and day so I'll be patient and get it when I get it, lol.

No. Still waiting. Since I have had every Google phone beginning with the Galaxy Nexus and ending with the Pixel 4XL, this waiting thing is kind of different. Hopefully soon, but still loving the phone.

Same, update just popped in my XAA U1 version.
I got my update this morning. I have the unlocked version on Sprint/tmobile. Now time to see what this update is about.
